Abstract: With cars increasing year by year, the problem of parking has become more and more serious. Easy, fast toll collection system is necessary in order to improve the efficiency of parking. In the paper, an automatic toll collection control system of parking was proposed. The internet of things was taken to finish the wireless communication among various devices and gateways in the parking. Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader was designed to realize the non-contact toll collection without stopping the car. The controller of the road gate handler was used to manage cars. And the parking fee can be automatically calculated according to the parking time and the card type for a driver by server. Physical simulation experiments were conducted and the experimental results show that the automatic toll collection system of parking can achieve good performance.

Abstract: From analyzing project cost of the first-stage project of Shenyang subway line one, there are several important factors affecting the cost of Shenyang subway line one. By the analyzing cost of land pulling down, design fees, power supply system, vehicle, shield machine and laying mode and comparing with cost of other urban subway. Finally we summed up the effective measures to reduce the cost of subway .

Abstract: In order to determine a reasonable scale of rail transit network in Xi'an, four influencing factors are analyzed. Based on the introduction of three indicators of rail transit network scale and the network density index, a method of rail transit network scale is proposed. Also, the determination method of parameters is given. The method is used to forecast the rail transit network scale with the actual situation of Xi'an. The result shows that the scale of Xi'an rail transit network is about 550km.

Abstract: A new taxi operation and management system which is based on distributed only taxi stations solving strategies was proposed. This system has four major parts, including only taxi stations (OTSs), car GPS, mobile phone client/web site and scheduling center. This system abandons traditional street-sweeping mode to search passengers who want to take taxi and builds OTSs for taxi drivers to park. Passengers get no-load taxis information through telephone or web site, and choose one way to achieve trip purpose, such as they can go to the OTSs to take a taxi or contact with no-load taxi driver directly. This system can solve the problem of high no-load rate, fundamentally, which is caused by the information barrier between taxi drivers and taxi passengers. And what’s more, this strategy can also solve other problems, including energy saving, urban traffic jam reducing, and air pollution decreasing.

Abstract: Along with the rapid development of China economy, more people pour into large cities since 2000. In order to settle the housing problem timely, large communities emerged in big cities of China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou. There is usually a high population density and high proportion of commuter travel in large communities, and the traffic development of which is relatively difficult, this paper aims to solve this problem. Taking TTY district of Beijing as an example, a large scale resident trip survey was conducted. The travel indicators travel time, travel distance, etc, were detailed discussed. The main traffic problems of TTY district were summarized as: 1) separation of office and residence; 2) insufficient traffic supply; 3) unreasonable road network structure. Finally, corresponding countermeasure was proposed in the article to deal with the existing problems.

Abstract: The network scale is an important indicator of the urban rail transit. In order to determine a reasonable scale of rail transit network, this paper analysis the influencing factors of the urban rail transit network scale. Furthermore, the main indicators of the network are summed up and analyzed. And a model of rail transit network scale is proposed based on the traffic demand. Finally, a case study of Xi'an is used to validate the model. The result shows that the model is effective and practical.

Abstract: According to statistical and survey data, evaluation of public transport development is discussed based on gray clustering method in Fuzhou City in this article. The result show vector the biggest clustering coefficient is 0.27931 which reflect the level of development of urban public transport is the middle. In order to provide the basis of the planning, construction, and management by public transport evaluation for Fuzhou City to further development.

Abstract: Traffic congestion caused by traffic tide phenomenon has become increasingly severe, appropriate allocation of time and space in signalized intersection is the key to such problem. Based on the optimal adjustments of signalized intersection, this paper introduces the coefficient of unbalanced distribution of entrance and puts forward four schemes of setting methods of signalized intersection, which is combined with the setting of symmetry phase, split phase, and signalized intersection entrance short lanes. This paper also compares the average intersection delays of each scheme to find out the advisable one under traffic tide phenomenon.

Abstract: In order to improve the security of public traffic, In the road engineering, traffic engineering facilities for basic theory, analyze the factors that affect public transport safety, and then conduct extensive questionnaire, analyze the degree that the major transport facilities affect the safety of traffic, determine the evaluation index and use the analytic hierarchy construct public transport safety evaluation system. Finally, applicate evaluation system to determine the best time for preventive maintenance of road markings, and also provide a new way of thinking for the study of traffic safety.

Abstract: Along with the acceleration of city-urbanization and industrialization process of the cities, city traffic demand increases rapidly. This provides a good development opportunity for the urban traffic and also brings new challenges for the urban traffic at the same time. In addition, the demands for the public transport service quality are becoming more and more strictly for the growth of residents’ travel and the improvement of life quality, the problems in the public transport system have become the main aspects that restrict the development of the urban public transport system. So the advantages of BRT in the optimization of the network are becoming more and more significant.
