Abstract: Through the statistics and analysis of concerned document about housing project quality in recent years, this thesis marks of sorts of housing problems and generant degree of different sort. Meantime , According to the data, author do some research on the new problem in the quality of the building construction. On such basis, the theory of Customer Satisfaction (C.S) is used in the control of the building construction, an appraisal system about the veracity of the quality of the building project is established. Through carrying on the statistics to the primitive investigation data, author calculated the veracity of the building project as well as all levels of veracity of the second index. This investigation discovered key factors that mainly influence the quality of the building project. this paper describes procreant reasons for the key factors of the quality matter.

Abstract: Enhancing the guarantee of government supervision effectiveness on construction quality and intensifying the reform of supervision need continuous endeavors. Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has established the Engineering quality supervision guidance ,based on basis principles on government supervision on construction quality of Supervision Rules on Construction Quality, which sets aims to refined and modern management .It proposes some new requirements about the government supervision on construction quality ,such as clearing demands of qualities, emphases and participants; planning projects in more scientific ways; refining supervision on quality behaviors; strengthening quality supervision on project entity; controlling strictly in project final acceptance; normalizing reports and files; and informationizing the methods to supervise. It is a consecutive task to improve efficiency in government supervision on construction quality, and guarantee successive improvements in construction quality.

Abstract: In recent years, overall opening of construction plans review standardized survey and design market and control irregularities phenomena of undocumented design, leapfrog design, procuration indorsement, roughly-making and competition by lowering prices. The quality and level of survey and design have been markedly improved, which ensure the structural safety of the construction project and the implementation of the national mandatory provisions.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to study the evaluation theories on engineering design quality of the primary and secondary school teaching building. In this research the specific seismic performances of primary and secondary school buildings was analyzed. Then, the design quality evaluation index system of primary and secondary School buildings and multi-layered evaluation system were established according to the system engineering theory of builing engineering design. A fuzzy comprehensive evaluation precedure was finally shown. The result indicated the hidden problems and management defects can be accurately found through this evaluation system with using the quality and quantity analysis way. It was helpful to greatly increase the ability to forecast, prevent and control engineering accidents, by which the prevention-after-accident quality management model of building engineering design can change into self-control type.

Abstract: Defects Notification Period is the time in 99 FIDIC during which the contractor is responsible for quality warranty after receiving taking-over certification, and owner has the right to claim the quality defects caused by the contractor. This paper introduced concept of "the owner recommended supplier" and "Supply-only materials, pointing out that the fundamental difference between the two ways is contractual relationship. Through literature review to identify issues and responsibilities of the relationship the owner can claim during Defects Notification Period, the paper finally gave a basis on which the owners should take responsibility under the condition of "owner provided material", which provided reference basis for a similar controversy occurred in practice.

Abstract: By proposing the concept of project quality chain and on the theory of butterfly effect in chorology, this paper studies the forming reason of the butterfly effect in the project quality chain. It also puts forward such measures to manage the defects in the quality chain as the early intervention of quality supervision and quality risk source identification and timely control. This research contributes theoretically to realize the quality supervision of construction whole life cycle. With the rapid development of economy and urbanization in China, the construction project presents the features of huge investment, technical sophistication, new material application and quick update, which brings the difficulties and challenges to the supervision on project quality, therefore, the single phase supervision cannot meet the requirement. For recent years, the quality defect in construction engineering has become the social issue and the dispute on the quality of commodity houses in urban area, proving to be one of the ten complaints in national consumption since 2001 and resulting in various hassles and social resources wasting [.The potential quality defects are associated with construction engineering at any stage of the whole life cycle where an invisible but a continuous chain exists, that is, the quality chain. This concept is the modern theory viewing from quality management to ensure the products to meet customers demands through integrating the overwhelming resources of participants in the chain [.Since the influence on quality from many implementing bodies, the research on the project quality chain and its butterfly effects provides the theoretical reference to realize the quality supervision in the whole life cycle of construction project.

Abstract: Through establishing the fatigue risk model for mining workers, this author found out the relative factors about fatigue risk. According to the risk itself and all kinds of its types, this author fix on corresponding level, analyze the index and find out the risk with the biggest probability. Consequently it can provide scientific proof for some corporations to take corresponding measures.

Abstract: The revitalization of urban ghettos, the most unique part of the downtown area, has already become the most difficult issue for almost all the international metropolises because it is often occupied by poor, homeless people, where crime and drug use remains at a relatively high level. The common approach in renewal projects focus on increasing the quantity of the open space, instead of ensuring quality aspects, since more open space could attract more visitors, thereby transforming the unsafe atmosphere of the area. Therefore, this research chose the Gastown and Chinatown areas in the downtown east side of Vancouver, Canada, which is a typical urban ghetto with high density and crime rates, in addition to their multiple cultural and ethnic makeup and further examined the relationships between the quality/quantity of the open space and overall living conditions and illustrated that quality plays a rather more significant role than quantity in the urban renewal process. The result would make urban designers, architects rethink the role of open space created buildings in the urban built environment by stating that enhancing the quality of existing open space would be a more practical and economic way than increasing its quantity.

Abstract: Historical and Cultural Village, as an important component of Chinese cultural heritage, not only possesses the basic nature of village but also has special historical culture characteristics. This paper exemplifies Daliangjiang village, Jingxing County, Hebei province, on the basis of analyzing the Historical and Cultural Village and its planning characteristics, and it discusses the contents and methods of master plan and conservation planning and programming of Historical and Cultural Village, so as to provide a reference for the planning and compilation of our country’s Historical and Cultural Villages.Introduction.

Abstract: The key to the protection of living character of historical and cultural villages is maintaining their vitality, which means the culture field of the residents and substantial cultural heritage needing to continue developing. Historical and cultural village supports the production and living of its residents. It develops continuously during the preservation. It is not a static heritage museum but an organism including all systems working continually. Elements of the organism affect the metabolic process of historical and cultural villages and also affect the living character of them. At last, analyzing the interaction of these elements and proposing methods to protect the living character of historical and cultural villages.
