Abstract: This article proposed a new mode of modular build of architectural space, which is a creative approach to achieve high-efficient construction and operation. The new mode integrates each step during the process of design, construction, and operation of buildings as a whole system, implementing the purpose of creating appropriate, cost-efficient, and durable buildings. The authors established a framework of modular build of multi-storey bar-shaped buildings. The new mode aims to improve the overall efficiency in the entire architecture and civil engineering industry and realize macroscopic energy-saving to obtain enormous social benefits.

Abstract: Harmonious bus station design should integrate the harmonious traditional culturerepresenting the cultural characters on the external style and taking the harmonious idea as a intrinsic link. From a cultural point of view, the paper has made a in-depth exploration into the meaning of harmony, The paper also conclude and analyse the main issues that have important impaction on harmonious bus station. the form, the materials and accessible technology of harmony bus station design .

Abstract: We all know that the design thinking in architecture design is quite complex. However, the most existing studies on design thinking have been based upon reductionism. By introducing complex network theory, complexity perspective is used to re-interpret the architectural design in this paper. Moreover, the characteristics, rules and thinking characteristics of architectural creation are revealed by the characteristics of complex network. The paper advocates combining holism and reductionism to guide the architectural design, and pointed out that synesthesia exists among different factors of complex network. Based upon the scientific analysis on several famous cases, the author pointed out the great importance of synesthesia in architects' design thinking.

Abstract: The research is based on the study of CJ·Bloch, who presents a digital way to descript the rectangular plan. This thesis derives the mathematical model from the Bloch work, and discusses its applicable scope on different patterns, as well as its application on architectural plan.

Abstract: Guangfu and Chaoshan are the main settlement areas of Guangfu clan and one branch of Fulao clan, which are river delta and coastal plain respectively, both in good farming conditions. The diversities in micro geographical conditions, development history, social and financial mechanism cause distinctive differences in the patterns of their settlements. This paper aims at laying out the differences along with discussions about factors - especially in the aspect of socio-culture rather than nature - that cause the differences.

Abstract: The more and more archaized architectures has been appearing in public. These were neither fish nor fowl in some tourist areas of Chengdu Plain, because there are lack of Sichuan traditional architectural documents, successful examples and the fundamentals such as size, ratio, scale and modulus and so on. This paper introduce the features of Sichuan traditional architecture and find problems and solutions of archaized architecture after the survey in Chengdu tourist areas. And it also provides some means of use for reference to archaized architectures in Sichuan tourist areas.

Abstract: Different geographical environments and different cultures decide the diversity in the architectural building process. In the history of Shanxi Zhashui Fenghuang town, the history of immigration occupies a long time. This paper first introduces the unique immigration history of Fenghuang town. Under this background, we take two typical residences as example to do a comparative analysis of the architectural characters, which are presented between them and typical local-style dwelling houses of origin areas. We do these analyses from the plane layout, architecture function, elevation, adornment, and building structure aspects. Through these analyses, we try to find out these residences of generality and particularity in the process of formation.

Abstract: From the beginning in the Ming and Qing dynasties until the end of the republic of China, “Zou Xikou” immigration movement lasted more than three hundred years, and has changed the environment of Inner Mongolia. The migrants to the han nationality and the local Mongolian’ behavior all changed accordingly, their way of life and production, way of living has also changed accordingly. This change promoted the formation of the village and the city in Inner Mongolia, which is the miniature of current Inner Mongolia. This article discusses the environment and behavior transition under the influence of “Zou Xikou” immigration in Inner Mongolia. We study this transition from the historical background, production mode, population structure, and city building four angles. We also do the restitutive description, which is mainly aimed at grassland agriculture, population of localization, living centralization and regional architecture, in order to better explore the regionalism of Inner Mongolia.

Abstract: In the flourishing social and cultural background of 1990s, architecture industry experienced a free reign to all styles of design and all schools of thought in 1990s. In this paper, the author analyses main architectural discourse in the 1990s, the main tendency in architectural discourse is still mixing all styles including the complexity paradigm. Together with three very prominent contemporary theories, post-modern, post-modern ecology and new modern, a relatively new complexity paradigm became the active style and focal point. Building design becomes more complicated and needs the integration of more related disciplines, which also spurs new discourse surrounding the tendency of complexity paradigm.
