Abstract: To clearly understand the mechanism of drivers lane-changing decision, based on drivers perception of external information, integrated cognitive judgment and game theory, the decision-making model was established, then the structure and operating mechanism of the model were detailedly analyzed. By introducing game theory-related knowledge, the non-cooperative mixed strategy game between the object vehicle and the following vehicle in the target lane was further discussed. Then, the benefits and Nash equilibrium solution of the participants in the game were deeply researched. Analysis shows that lane-changing decision is composed of information perception and three judgment-decision processes, the factors which would affect decision-making level include information source characteristics, the ability of drivers perception and comprehensive cognitive judgment, driving behavior characteristics and so on. The Nash equilibrium solution of the lane change game is determined by driving safety level, journey time and importance degree of the revenues.

Abstract: With the rapid development of Chinas urbanization, pedestrians traffic accidents have been on the top due to the negligence of traffic rules or lacking of safety awareness. This research develops a system on improving pedestrians safety awareness, especially to children, in city traffic. It adapts virtual reality technology to the training of pedestrian safety consciousness via the virtual scene of city. Clients may get involved in the virtual traffic environment, take charge of pedestrians in the scene, and conduct a timely monitor of pedestrians and give them warning when necessary so as to publicize traffic rules and improve pedestrians safety awareness.

Abstract: The high proportion of heavy vehicles on Chinese freeway brings important effects to the operation of freeway and makes the traffic very complex. The exhibition and mechanic of the influence between different vehicle types vary under different traffic flow and heavy vehicle proportion. In this paper, field survey was carried out and the characteristic of Chinese mixed traffic was gotten. Based on the phenomenon observed in the field survey, models were built to analysis the mechanic of the influence between different vehicle types. The influence states were divided into four aspects according to different exhibition and mechanic, that is: free flow condition, independent heavy vehicle impact, heavy vehicles and cars in different lane, drive in disorder. The influence states will transfer with the temporary variation of traffic flow composition. It is result from the self-organizing behavior of vehicles which pursue higher speed and brings dynamic change of capacity and level of service in time and space.

Abstract: In order to improve the objectivity of urban rail transit network evaluation and achieve the sub-file of quality level of preliminary planning, a comprehensive evaluation method for urban rail transit network was proposed based on TOPSIS, then the evaluation model of urban rail transit network was constructed. This method was applied to Xian urban rail transit network planning. The result shows that case-4 is best one among the four urban rail transit network planning of Xian and consistent with the passenger flow prediction. The evaluation model for urban rail transit network based on TOPSIS is objective, which involves few parameters, simple operation, science evaluation and provides a basis of decision for urban rail transit network planning.

Abstract: Interchange is the important conversion node of freeway. In the process of Interchange reconstruction and expansion, how to ensure the traffic of Interchange in all directions operate normally, to reduce the impact of the construction on traffic flow and to ensure the security of the roads traffic flow smoothly is very crucially. Through analyzing the characteristics of the driver, road and traffic flow, to study and determine the Interchange situ reconstruction and expansion traffic organization plan and security measures during construction traffic organization.

Abstract: In this paper we consider the location-routing problem which combines the facility location and the vehicle routing decisions. In this type of problem, we have to determine the location of facilities within a set of possible locations and routes of the vehicles to meet the demands of number of customers. Since the location-routing problem is NP-hard, it is difficult to obtain optimal solution within a reasonable computational time. Therefore, a two-phase ant colony optimization algorithm is developed which solves facility location problem and vehicle routing problem hierarchically. Its performance is examined through a comparative study. The experimental results show that the proposed ant colony optimization algorithm can be a viable solution method for the general transportation network planning.

Abstract: Gender difference is an important factor in travel mode choice behavior. In this paper, some characteristics of different travelers were found from a survey of Zhenfeng City. Based on the data, this paper developed MNL models about four main travel mode choices (walk, bus, car and motorcycle) of different gender, and six variables were used in the models. Overall, the models represented the gender differences in travel mode choice, and it was influenced by a wide variety of variables, including age, employment status, household income, number of cars, number of motorcycles and travel purpose.

Abstract: A feasible, reasonable and fair crew rostering plan is more meaningful for mobilizing the enthusiasm of company crews and improving operation efficiency to promote the sustainable development of urban transit. The basic concepts of the rostering problem are analyzed firstly. Considering one single day off to be interspersed between a planning period of six days, the problem can be divided into two stages. On the first stage, optimization shifts will be carried out by every crew during the planning period without considering the days off. On the second stage, additional crews can substitute for original crews when they are in rest. Then two mathematical models based on crew scheduling problem are established, which are aimed at minimizing cost. Finally, one route is taken as an example and the optimization software LINGO is proposed to solve the model. The result of the test is analyzed in detail, which indicates the practicability of the model.

Abstract: In this paper BP neural network based on matlab is inducted and applied in comprehensive evaluation for highway network planning. Network model is constructed through the training of the sample data (make sure weights and threshold) .In this model, the internal relationship between input and output is determined objectively without the influence of the subjective factors. An application example is given that has proved the model is right and valid, the evaluation results should be more objective.
