Abstract: According to characteristics of passenger flow distribution in urban railway network, proportion factors were defined to present statistic characteristics of passenger distribution at stations. An agent-based simulation model was presented to describe interactive effect among passengers, stations and trains. Two series of scenario experiments were designed, considering passenger distribution at stations and trains frequency. Station factor experiments show that increase of transfer passenger proportion of major transfer direction has different effects on passenger numbers at stations with different locations. Train headway experiments show that adjustment of train service frequency in circle line, compared with radial line, has an obvious effect on passenger flow in network. Experiment results in case study prove the validity of the simulation model on reflecting passenger distribution characteristics in urban railway network.

Abstract: Urban rail transit is one of the important transportation means. Passenger evacuation capacity of subway station is importance for rail operation safety. This article studied the time variation about different numbers of evacuated people under the different stairs width. And it forced on the variation of the evacuation time under different stair widths. By considering the mutual repulsion between pedestrian and wall, and among pedestrians, the article used the anylogic simulation software to simulate and got the evacuation time under different stair-width. When down-stair width is beyond by 3.5m, down-stair-width increasing is unobvious to shorten the evacuation time. Finally, the article explains differences between two results by comparing analysis of simulation results and calculation results.

Abstract: Track irregularity is one of the most important aspects of the suspension control performance impact in Magnetic Transportation System (MTS). By using the traditional PID control, the problem was that it was difficult to confirm the PID parameters and have long settling time, even appear the chaotic phenomenon. However, using Expert PID(EPID) control method producesd over-fitting to initial assignments, local optimum induced easily and slow convergence rate problem. Based on the global optimization feature of PSO algorithm, it had been adopted to optimize the initial values of Expert PID control. An intelligent control algorithm for the maglev transportation system was put forward based on Expert PID optimized by Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (EPID-PSO). The expert rule was that if the absolute value of the error trended to decrease, the PID current control keeped its maintenance; if not, then the PID current control applied strong functions. Under this rule, the dynamic error was reduced and the performance of track irregularity was improved. Simulation results by MATLAB proves that the control scheme has good robustness, shorter adjustment time, faster response time, achieving better quality of control under the three conditions of step signal, low frequence sine wave signal and high frequence square wave signal.

Abstract: On the basis of differentiating the role of government and enterprises in developing rural logistics, in terms of the reality of Chinas rural areas, this paper establishes the basic model of government and enterprises. Emphasizing the role of government in encouraging enterprises to develop rural logistics, this paper tests the mechanism and pattern of developing rural logistics and gets the conclusion that the government should encourage enterprises to take advantage of the resources endowment to develop rural logistics by the means of industry cluster. Several proposals are offered after analyzing the empirical case.

Abstract: The paper analyzes and summarizes the factors which restrict the development of public bicycle. And then, through analyzing the interaction relationships of factors a network which reflects the complex intersection relationship between the restraining factors is established. Based on ISM (Interpretative Structural Modeling) method, a hierarchical structure model of restraining factors of public bicycle sharing system in which the complex interaction relationships are divided hierarchically is established. It can guide scientific operation of the public bicycle sharing system.

Abstract: This paper takes the concept of Compact City as a way to solve the housing and environmental issues. Based on the analysis of the current problems of road system in Chinas residential areas, this paper discusses the road system from the aspects of foundation of design, main body direction, content and space form from the angle of design of road system in the residential area. Four basic characteristics of road system have been summarized and an ideal model of traffic pattern in city residential area has been set up.

Abstract: This paper aims at constructing an improved model of modal choice by the use of both of AHP model and disaggregate logit model. Firstly, using AHP structure model, the importance of various factors in modal choice is investigated, and relevant choosing consciousness is scored. Secondly, a disaggregate logit model for modal choice with AHP scores and physical factors is proposed. Thirdly, weights of items in AHP model for modal choice are reversibly estimated by the use of the proposed AHP-type of disaggregate logit model. Direct AHP model, AHP-type of disaggregate logit model and improved AHP model are also compared each other.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of differences between traditional highway maintenance and traffic safety maintenance, the essay defines the highway traffic safety maintenance concept and connotation from the needs of highway traffic safety maintenance. The index system of highway traffic safety maintenance evaluation, which provides the theory and method for highway traffic safety maintenance evaluation work, was established from five aspects, namely, subgrade and pavement, safety facilities, management facilities, intersection and greening.

Abstract: On the basis of the traffic cost model and the land value function model, this paper analyzes and reveals the interaction of the urban rail transit construction and the surrounding land price. It also illustrates the feasibility and the necessity of the comprehensive development of adjacent land of urban rail transit.

Abstract: Aiming at calculation of traffic zone radius, probability density and probability distribution of trip distance were analyzed. Inner trip proportion, traffic zone radius, trip distance, space between traffic zone center and trip generator, probability of trip distance were defined as P, R, D, S and f(D) respectively. According to the relationship between D and R, three conditions were considered, i.e. D≤R, R<D≤2R and D>2R. Two models among and P and R, D, S, f(D) were established under the condition of D≤R, R<D≤2R. P was regarded as zero when D>2R. The calculating method and procedures of the traffic zone radius based on trip distance were put forward.
