Abstract: This paper considers the integrated hub location and multi-depot vehicle routing problem. In this type of problem, we have to determine the location of hubs within a set of candidate locations, allocation of customers to each selected hub location and routes of the vehicles to meet the demands of number of customers in order to minimize the total system cost. To solve these problems simultaneously we apply a hierarchical structure, which hub location as the main problem and vehicle routing as a subordinate one. An integrated solution method based on ant colony optimization algorithm is developed which solves hub location problem and vehicle routing problem hierarchically. Its performance is examined through a comparative study.

Abstract: Due to the expansion of satellite cities by rapid urbanization in China, a variety of urban problems happened especially when it comes to transportation. This paper analyzes the situation about urban public transport and the priority to urban public transport to solve the problems of urban traffic congestion, which provides a valuable reference and a new way for the renewal of satellite cities construction, especially for the development of cities in the transition period.

Abstract: Container ship arrival pattern had an important effect on throughput capacity of container terminals. There is an urgent need for recognition of the ship arrival pattern of modern container terminal, owing to the change of the composition of both operating routes and arrival ships, which was brought up by the rapid development of Chinas coastal ports container service. This paper statistically analyzes the ship arrival data collected from some domestic container terminals from the view of the number of daily arrival vessels and the inter-arrival time between two ships by using Chi-Square Test. The results prove that the ship arrival pattern of container terminals vary with the constitute of container liner routes, and the number of daily arrival vessels follows either Poisson or normal distribution, and the inter-arrival time follows both negative-exponential and gamma distribution.

Abstract: The macroscopic traffic flow parameters characteristic is an important research content in traffic flow theory. Urban expressway plays an important role in the urban road network. It is gradually shifting from large-scale infrastructure-oriented to refinement of traffic management. With the growing of traffic demand and much more traffic congestion and accidents, integrated active traffic management should be involved in urban expressway management on the back ground of car-road coordination. As the backbone road network, traffic flow characteristic parameters have great value for the control and management of urban expressway. Then the characteristic variables of the expressway traffic flow were identified which support meticulous management for urban expressway.

Abstract: With the rapid development of Chinese economy, flight delay happen frequently in many airports. Now, there is an error point in China civil aviation system that is they are all seem to hope expansion airspace to enhance capacity to solving this problem. But in fact, airline company`s service confusion leading to the airspace`s low-effective using is the major cause of delay. Only the more effective using of the existing airspace, the more benefit. This paper analyses the reasons of flight delay, explores the relation of flight delay and air traffic movements mainly, uses the analytical model to calculate the China three major airports ` punctuality rate under the condition of service level reaching the international level, which is higher than the actual data. The result shows that the service quality is the leading cause of influencing punctuality rate. Only improving the service standard, Chinese airports` flight delay can be solved effectively.

Abstract: The present situation the problems of land use and road traffic of Zhongyuan Urban Agglomerations have been studied by using system analysis method and the literature material method. Analysis indicates that the construction of the Zhongyuan Urban Agglomerations bring the change of land structure and layout, although has made remarkable achievements, road construction are not fully meet the demand of the land use rapid development. In order to achieve the integrated goals that road transportation and land use Zhongyuan Urban Agglomerations should planning of road traffic and land use overall, to promote the integration of land use by transport pilot model, guide surrounding towns development with regional transportation channel.

Abstract: Because there are some differences in operation management body and investment body between city railway/suburban railway and other modes of transportation of urban rail transit, reasonable coordination and effective connection cant achieve in various modes of transportation of urban rail transit, resulting in not only wasting national limited traffic resource, but also bringing so much inconvenience to the traveling passengers. Under this background, the author proposes the alternative use mode of building integrative urban passenger rail transit system and their definitions. Then, the bi-level programming model of the integrative passenger rail transit line station layout based on the alternative use mode is established. Whats more, the simulated annealing algorithm is used to solve it. Finally, a numerical example shows that the pattern of multi-point stopping under alternative use mode is beneficial to reduce total consumption of passenger agglomeration and shorten the passenger traveling time, at the same time it is more beneficial to ease the urban traffic pressure (especially the city ground traffic).

Abstract: The advance of urbanization makes existing bus line network can not meet the travel needs of the increasing urban and rural residents, but reasonable integration of urban and rural bus line network planning is able to effectively solve this problem. In this paper, as a starting point to establish bi-level programming model of integration of urban and rural bus line network planning, the goal of upper model is minimum total investment in the construction of urban and rural public bus line network to the transport sector and the target of lower model is network resistance minimum. Then, based on the genetic algorithm to solve the model and put forward steps and flowchart. Established bi-level programming model by analyzing the studies can provide a theoretical reference for the planning of urban and rural bus line network.

Abstract: With the building and operating of passenger line, the competition of integrated traffic system in region and avenue not only consists among all kinds of transportation modes, it embodies among various kinds of passenger transport products (PTP) between the existing line and passenger line. Keep up market-oriented principle, start with analysis of passenger travelling demand and use the qualitative and quantitative analysis to predict the share ratio of PTP rationally under the research of the substitutability of passenger transport demand (PTD) based on the theory of set pair analysis and generalized cost, and make the market orientation clear that plays an important role in promoting the division of work among existing line and passenger line, avoiding resource-wasting of infrastructure, and making the maximize benefits of the railway transport enterprises under the conditions of the market demand.
