Abstract: This research adopts the important iron electrolysis, removal of the wastewater of high COD, SS, phosphorus pretreatment experiment. Discusses the different iron dosing quantity, iron carbon ratio, and pH value, reaction time on the COD and turbidity, the influence of the phosphorus removal effect. Studies show that iron important electrochemical test in brewery wastewater treatment static optimal processing conditions for: water pH value is 4, 5% dosage of iron filings, 60 min temperature response, COD removal rate was 52.31%. When the iron carbon ratio of 2:1, removing effect is good, can reach 54.53%.

Abstract: This study builds a mathematical model for microbial fuel cells (MFCs) with soluble chemical substrates, redox mediators and suspended cells. By modeling the biological growth, substrate degradation and the current generation process of anode chamber, analysis the variation of mediators and substrate over time, the influence of mediator concentrations on substrate degradation and current generation. The result showed that substrate concentrations≥2mg/L, Continue to increase the amount of mediator has no effect on the variation of mediator and the time it reaches the maximum, the oxidized and reduced mediator has the opposite change trends. Each mediator concentrations corresponding substrate have experienced slow degradation, rapid degradation and depletion three stages. The greater the concentrations of the initial mediator, the shorter time substrate reaches the rapid degradation, but the final amount of degradation of the substrate is not affected. Enough mediators produce more current than inadequate, substrate concentration≥2mg/L, the maximum current does not increase with increasing of the mediator concentrations, it achieves the maximum while mediator concentrations is 3mg/L.

Abstract: The ammonium salt roasting method is proposed to enrich and recover Mn from low grade ore of manganese carbonate. It included a process of mixing the ore with NH4Cl by ball milling, roasting this mixed ore in pipe stove at 450°Cfor one hour and leaching the calcine with hot water to obtain MnCl2 solution. Further, manganese is precipitated by NH3·H2Oand CO2 released from roasting process, washing and drying to get concentrated manganese ore. The NH4Cl obtained by vaporizing the filtrate solution can be reused for the ammonium salt roasting process. The result indicates that Mn recovery rate can be reached to be more than 90%. This method is considered to be a green chemistry process to enrich and recover Mn from low grade ore of manganese carbonate.

Abstract: MnO2 nanosheets were synthesized with tetramethylamine, H2O2, MnCl2·4H2O and its suspension were prepared for its high efficient removal of methylene blue (MB). MB removal reached as high as 95% when MB concentrations were less than 500 mg/L at pH 11. The adsorption data fitted better with Freundlich isotherm model than Langmuir model indicating the heterogeneous adsorption nature of MB on MnO2 nanosheets. The maximum adsorption capacity of MnO2 nanosheets was ~4,300 mg/g, which is the highest reported so far. The MnO2 nanosheets suspension was aggregated as precipitates after adsorption of MB. Our results demonstrated that dispersive MnO2 nanosheets have a potential application on adsorption of organics from solution with strong base and high salinity.

Abstract: The effects of the polysaccharide extracted from Tricholoma matsutake on the immune response of Sarcoma180 bearing mice were evaluated. Mice were treated with two doses of polysaccharideL-2(1,10mg/kgbodyweight) for 10 days. The concentration of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), interferon-2(IL-2) in mice serum and TNF-α mRNA expression were determined. The concentration of TNF-α in serum increased significantly in two doses groups compared to the model control group, but IL-2 not. The level of TNF-α mRNA transcription increased significantly in two doses groups to the model control group. Results of these studies demonstrated the polysaccharide significantly promoted TNF-α production, immunity potentiating and anti-tumor effects of the polysaccharide were associated with its potentiation of TNF-α mRNA expression at the transcriptional level.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the ingredient of fluorite from Shandong, a series tests on flotation were carried out. Grinding fineness, modifier picking and collector dosage were researched. Grinding fineness as 70%, forint as modifier and collector dosage as 800g/t, at this condition, a good indicator beneficiation process was made, a fine quality fluorite concentrate was obtained with the grade of 97% and comprehensive recovery of 82.35%.

Abstract: Based on the XRF analysis of red mud, the Muti-element analysis of red mud and the phase analysis of iron, high gradient magnetic separators were used for recovering iron from red mud. Magnetic field intensity, magnetic media, velocity of flow and frequency were researched. Magnetic field intensity as 0.85T, Magnetic media as 2.0mm, velocity of flow as 8L/min and frequency of stroke as 200/min, at this condition, the grade of iron concentrate is 44.56% and the recovery is 73.69%.

Abstract: In the blast furnace production process, the high iron content in the sludge produced by collecting, Iron can be used as recycled raw materials. Experimental study found that the use of magnetic roasting - weak magnetic iron powder method of recovering technology is feasible. The optimum conditions are: the grinding fineness is 87%, calcination temperature is 750 °C, roasting time is 25min, magnetic current is 1.5A under conditions to obtain a grade of 59% recovery rate of 79.3% iron ore .
