Abstract: Generally traditional research methods to crowd evacuation depend on experiences and hand calculation, but the errors of these methods are clear. So computer simulation methods have become popular all over the world. The paper studied crowd evacuation behaviors by building EXODUS developed by University of Greenwich. Evacuation time and behaviors were simulated and some differences were compared with the results by hand and experiences, which can give theoretic and methodological guides to crowd management, crowd facilities design, evacuation analysis in buildings, establishment of emergency preplanning and so on.

Abstract: In the electricity industry, performance evaluation generating units is very important to effectiveness evaluation unit and power generation sector. The paper carries on comprehensive evaluation to the generating performance of multi-type units based on integrated empowerment theory and ideal matter element extension method. The paper also introduces improved matter element extension model based on analyzing traditional matter element extension model. Analysis the main factors affecting the results of the evaluation, that is matter element、the weight calculation model and correlation calculation. Abstract: The competition between supply chains is increasingly fierce on the current, supply chain risk management is got more attention by people. This paper elaborates definitions and meaning of the supply chain risk and supply chain risk management at first, followed by the classification of supply chain risk factors whose features are analyzed and compared thereafter. In the last, the paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions on supply chain risk management, which provides a useful reference for the future studies.

Abstract: Travel time results from the process of travel, so the value of travel time is an important parameter for trip mode choice. The estimation of the value of travel time is the result of a comprehensive and multi-index calculation, which is affected by many factors. Using one questionnaire, this paper gets the data of travel willingness of Sun Yet-San University students in Guangzhou High Education Center. On the basis of the data, this paper analyzes the influence factors of value of travel time of students in Guangzhou High Education Center in detail. This paper improves the utility function considering travel time and cost, and establishes the concept of value of travel time of Guangzhou High Education Center students. Through the analysis of the public-transportation system to the outside of Guangzhou High Education Center at present, this paper provides optimizing suggestions.

Abstract: Environmental issues have been receiving an increasing amount of attention. However, evaluating sustainable products is a challenging task. A comprehensive approach to evaluate sustainable products based on life cycle assessment strategy is proposed in this study. The evaluation procedure is based on the combination of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the technique for order preference by similarity to the ideal solution (TOPSIS) method. A sample evaluation for disposable coffee cups is provided to illustrate the comprehensive evaluation of sustainable products.

Abstract: The deep belief networks (DBNs) are introduced to predict the stock trend. By stacking three RBMs and a softmax regression, a novel model of the stock price is developed to extract the high dimensional feature and predict the trend of the stock market. Experiments on Yahoo stock market of the past three years are implemented, and the performance of the multilayer perceptron (MLP) and DBN with different input dimensions are compared. A detailed discussion is given on the improvement of the system performance.

Abstract: Nowadays, customers can freely express shopping thoughts and reviews in e-commerce web sites. It results that people may be lost in the massive shopping reviews and cannot distinguish trusted reviews. This paper carries out a study on the trustworthy reviews in e-commerce web sites. We use the technique of words similarity to analyze the correlation degree between product features and customer reviews contents, and then propose a trustworthy sort method for shopping customer reviews.

Abstract: In this paper, a training simulation system based on virtual reality is used for trainer operating complex equipment. The whole system is a distribution management system including many subsystems with the same architecture. Each sub-equipment has the corresponding simulation subsystem. The subsystem includes five modules: training module, communication module, interaction module, scene creating module and proficiency assess module. The core module is the training module. In the training subsystem, equipment and its primary parts are integrated to simulate the operation of the equipment. The communication module exchanges the data among the whole system by User Datagram Protocol. The interaction module is the man-machine interfaces .The scene creating module shows what we see in the engine. The proficiency assess module analyzes all the input interaction and evaluate their validity. The flow of the system is given. The results of simulation show the system is much suitable for complex equipment operation training.

Abstract: The teaching platform system is so designed that the main function of it is activated by "hot link menus" and the hot issues of users’ concern are set on with "hot tags". An automatic 2-tiered structure comes into shape that the more frequent a user clicks on, the higher the tag ranks. The script combination techniques of Ajax and CSS are employed in the design of hot tags and menus, connection to the backstage database being there for state storage. Based on the techniques of hot tags and menus, teachers themselves can always determine what hot issues to teach and modify the order of knowledge teaching, thus the priority is always given to the teaching matters of importance in teaching management.
