Abstract: Slag concrete brick, as a kind of new materials utilizing wastes, is one kind of subsistent for clay brick. However, research on Slag concrete brick is very few, which restrains applying for slag concrete brick. By analyzing the reliability of the compress specimen with slag concrete brick masonry, the resistant statistic parameters are obtained and the computer probabilistic formula is established. Its reliability based on Monte-Carlo Method is calculated by means of Matlab. The result calculated is reasonable and reliable, which meets the requirement in rules. With the increasing of radio of live loading to dead loading, change tendency of reliability index of slag concrete masonry is that both sides are low and center is tall, and maximum appears between 0.5 and 1.0.

Abstract: ArcGIS analysis was applied to study the concentrations and spatial distribution characteristics of Cr and Ni in surface soil (0~20cm) of corn belt in Dehui—the typical area of black soil in Jilin province. The average concentrations of Cr and Ni were 49.85 mg·kg-1 and 20.85 mg·kg-1, which were both lower than the corresponding background value and thus in no pollution level. The trends for soil Cr and Ni were similar with higher concentrations trending N-S across the centre of the study area, while the other hotspots were located in the southwest of Dehui. There was prominent correlation between Cr and Ni in 0.01 level, indicating the close relationship of them. The method based on the geostatistical analysis in ArcGIS can exactly reflect the character of spatial distribution of heavy metals.

Abstract: China has been westernized in the process of the urbanization. Because of the rapid removal and reconstruction, many strange buildings are being built and our cities are becoming the testing field, which bring a permanent scar for the context of the city. Western forms are introduced and buildings are copying blindly. The westernized Chinese landscape has no cultural foundation as it is in the west. Chinese Garden City is a kind of Chinese ecological concept expression. It is not an attempt to searching for a universal design mode or a superficial copy of nature. This is a profound consideration about the urbanization of China. It is not a reflection of the traditional style, but an inevitable result of the city development. The concept of the Chinese Garden City establishes a new humanistic platform conforming to the Chinese cultural context and promotes design to return to the roots of the national culture.

Abstract: In this paper, taking Luoyang city as an example, research the problem of population system based on the entropy method in the urbanization process. First, access to date of statistical yearbook, we choose 8 indexes to construct the evaluation of development level of population urbanization. Then, using the entropy method to determine the weight of each index, a multilevel fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is built to evaluate on this change between the urban and rural in population system. The results show that the level of urbanization of this city is currently in the conversion process from the second grade to the third.

Abstract: We can use the seismic attributes to identify the small structure which would directly affect the mining in coalmine, however, there exists multiple solutions in geophysics and it will cause unreliability when using only one seismic attribute. In this paper, we use RGB fusion technology to display three independent attributes which are extracted along the target horizon, the attributes extracted are all sensitive to the coalmine's structure. Through the complementarity of different attributes, we can reduce the multiple solutions and make it more accurate in the interpretation of small structure.

Abstract: The present paper aims at testing new techniques of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), based on a Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS), to Cost-Benefit evaluation of transportation projects. Cost-Benefit analysis have been widely used for the evaluation of projects, especially in the phase of "feasibility study" in order to support decision makers in the choice between design alternatives compared to financial and socio economic performance indicators. However, the empirical experience has shown that investment appraisal can be affected by many elements of risk, due to system’s uncertainty and the multiplicity of interests involved [1,2] especially in a field such as the construction of a new road that will affect a community [3].Actually, the input and output variables of the model, can not always be determined with certainty by the analyst, but are influenced by elements of uncertainty due to numerous biases that "normally" connote a decision-making process in which multiple variables contribute to the formulation of the choice.QRA and MCS aims at quantify the uncertainty embedded in the appraisal model through a probabilistic approach, effectively accounts for every possible value that each variable within the model can take by use of various Probability Distribution Function (PDF). The resulting point estimate is then transformed into an interval estimate illustrated in terms of PDF.The proposed approach will be tested on an interesting case study regarding the economic evaluation of a new connection road in the Latium region of Italy. The results obtained shown that QRA and MCS can helps decision makers in taking more transparent and responsible behaviors in the decision making process.

Abstract: The bauxite deposits in the study area belongs to the monohydrate bauxite deposit that were located the eroded surface of carbonate rocks, and the host country rock is the Middle—Permian Liangshan formation strata. In order to understand the development situation of the sedimentary facies of Liangshan formation in different periods and in different regions in the study area as well as the evolutionary process, the authors selected four strata profiles for the comparative analysis from the drilling records. The result indicated that there were two stages of transgression and a stage of marine regression in the study area during the ore—forming period, and the sea water transgressed into the NE part from the SW direction. The paleogeographic frame work played an important role in the deposition of the ore—forming materials, deposit preservation and the secondary enrichment.

Abstract: With the extensive use of HSC in the tall building and super high-rise building, the harm of HSC subjected to fire has also been increasing. For the concrete structure in the seismic region after fire, its seismic performance after repair directly relates to the structure safety under the action of possible earthquake in the future. Based on the experimental data in the preliminary research, seismic response analysis on the repaired HSC structure after fire was made according to the principle of uniform section. The results indicate that the seismic performance of HSC frame structure repaired by the principle of uniform section can be restored to the level before fire. But we should pay more attention to the interlaminar maximum displacement of fire storey, which should be partly strengthened when necessary.

Abstract: After analyzing the propagation of stress wave at different angles of inclination, strength parameters and the group number of structural plane. The results of research are summarized as follows: Due to the change of propagation direction in structural planes with different angles of inclination, the original propagation rule of stress wave changes too, the peak velocity of the monitory point gets relatively flat as the strength parameters of structural plane turn greater. Stress wave repeatedly refracts and reflects in many groups of structural plane, then the appropriate dynamic characteristics of the wave no longer maintains as the number of group increases or decreases. By analyzing and verifying the slope instance, the test result provides a reference for studying dynamic response rules.

Abstract: The function space of residential condominiums internal various, to meet the needs of occupants through appropriate scale, reasonable function, and facade design and so on. The combination of different apartment layout of function space, lifestyle dwellers is also different; choose an apartment layout will choose a way of life.
