Abstract: Objective: To provide scientific guidance for water management of precocious walnuts. Method: With 8 years old ‘Lvling’ walnut trees as samples, 5 irrigation quantity treatments were designed, including 0, 15, 30, 45 and 60 kg of water per plant for each time, respectively and the routine irrigation amount (CK) was 600 kg of water per plant for each time. During the draught stage in growing season, 3 times of irrigation were carried out, and the effects of different treatments on sap flow, water use efficiency, yield and fruit quality were compared. Results: The daily instantaneous maximum average sap flow rates were found with 60 kg of water and control; the daily highest average water use efficiency was 1.54 mmol/mol with the treatment of 30 kg water; the daily highest average leaf water potential was-1.23 MPa with control; the highest yield per plant (1.48 kg) was found with the control, and the yield of 45 kg and 60 kg water per plant one time accounted for 98.65% and 99.32% of that of control, respectively. with T1 the yield was the lowest, only accounting for 70.65% of the control. Conclusion: As the soil water contents increased, the diurnal variation curve of sap flow rates changed from unimodal to bimodal patterns in sunny days, the main peak was narrowed; the curve of diurnal variation of leaf water potential changed from "V" to "W" type; the leaf water use efficiency increased initially and then decreased later; and the nut quality was improved and the yield increased. The optimal soil water content (SWC) of 'Lvling' precocious walnuts ranged from 20.01% ~ 21.96%.

Abstract: The cassava mealybug (Phenacoccus manihoti) is one of the main pests in the world and the risk of invasion posed by this pest is becoming more and more serious with regard to increasing areas of planting cassava in Asia. It is urgent to analyze the potential geography distribution of P. manihoti among cassava in China. In this study, three different ecological modeling methods (Maxent, ENFA and Mahalanobis typicality) were used to predict its potential distribution. The results show that Maxent has the best prediction performance, followed by ENFA, and Mahalanobis typicality has the poorest performance. Based on prediction outcome of Maxent suitable areas of P. manihoti in China are limited in Hainan, Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian and a few regions of Sichuan, Hunan and Jiangxi. The jackknife analysis indicates that four variables have notable influence on the distribution pattern of P. manihoti, including in in Temperature annual range, Min temperature of coldest month, r, Temperature seasonality and Isothermality.

Abstract: Phytoremediation of PAHs in soils at initial contents ranging from 20.05 to 322.06 mg·kg-1 was investigated under different planting patterns, and enhancement mechanisms were analyzed. Results showed that the dissipation of PAHs in soils growing white clover and alfalfa significantly exceeded those vegetating single species. During 70-day experiment, about 75.06% of Phe and 68.22% of Pyr was removed from the soils under mixed cropping; while only 31.8% and 64.03% of Phe and 27.84% and 51.93 of Pyr were removed under single white clover and alfalfa cropping, respectively. Of all pathways enforcing PAHs removal, the plant-microbial interactions is the most predominant. These results suggested a feasibility of the establishment of multi-species phytoremediation for improvement of the remediation efficiencies of PAHs, which may decrease accumulations of PAHs in crops and thus reduce their ecological risks.

Abstract: Renewable energy is the inevitable choice for the future sustainable energy development. The heat pump system by using earth energy is increasing very rapidly. In this paper, by studying the underground heat exchanger heat transfer mode, the computing platform for GSHP system was established. Through a engineering case, the influence character of the initial ground temperature on the fluid temperature, the heat pump power consumption, and the design depth of system were analyzed, which provide an approach for system engineering design and operation prediction, and for the thermodynamic analysis of performance of system year by year and prospective study to guide the engineering practice.

Abstract: There is an increasing concern about heavy metal contamination in farmland in China and worldwide.In order to reveal the spatial features of heavy metals in the soil-vegetable system in the CFL manufacturing area, a total of 18 pairs of soil and vegetable samples were collected from Gaohong, Southeastern China. Most of the heavy metals in soil were much higher than its corresponding background value in Zhejiang province,Most of the heavy metals in the vegetable exceeded the Safe Agricultural Product Standard in China.Compared to other heavy metals, Hg had the highest enrichment index. The CFL manufacturing companies were the main source of heavy metal Hg pollution in this area. There are strong correlation between THg in soil and vegetable.

Abstract: It is an important reference basis to identify the development stage and orientation of environmental protection industry for the government to make industry policy and development strategy. The recognition of environmental protection industry development stage is only involving qualitative analysis, no quantitative analysis. On basis of feature correlation method and judgment method for identifying the stage of environmental protection industry, we use Gompertz fitting curve method to judge its development from quantitative aspect in this paper. The results show that the environmental protection industry is in a rapid growth stage. It presents It presents the salient features of growing industries: the size of the industry is expanding; market demand is growing; environmental products tend to diversify and differentiate. According to the results of identification, we analyze the development trend of environmental protection industry. Specifically including the future market demand、industrial scale as well as the industrial technology of environmental protection industry.

Abstract: For a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle equipped with Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), Dynamic Programming (DP) algorithm is used to improve the energy economy of the vehicle under the dynamic performance. Meanwhile, the energy consumption curve of vehicle and the operating points of engine under the driving cycle are obtained. From the results, the operation can be divided into two phases which are pure electric driving mode and hybrid driving mode. Then, compare the consumption in the two phases of hybrid electric vehicle with that of pure electric vehicle and traditional fuel vehicle separately. Finally, through calculation, the dynamic performance of the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is also verified.

Abstract: With the industrialization of society progress, human discharged a variety of pollutants into the nature, these pollutants have been excess of the self-purification capacity of the natural environment. City air quality, water quality, noise pollution and people's daily life are closely linked. Various types of pollution make the city haze frequency, declining water quality, noise enhanced, so that people living in city pay an attention to environment quality. Based on the statistical data of 2013 Chinese statistical yearbook, Corresponding relationship is established the index system of environmental quality and various types of pollution factors in this paper, according to the index of pollutants using the support vector machine model, to evaluate the environment quality of main city in China, these data can provide a basis of decision-making for managers.

Abstract: By statistics the 50a haze observation data in Guilin, and analyses on it’s changes from 1964 to 2013, we have studied the haze source and the countermeasures of Guilin. The haze days of Guilin has increased significantly in recent years, it closely related to the large-scale urban construction and rapid increase of cars. Haze is mainly affected by topography and local haze source in Guilin. By making pollutant emission control measures, the harm of haze can effectively reduced.
