Abstract: A seismometer for vertical electric field component of natural ELF and ULF electromagnetic waves measurement by using spherical antenna is introduced. The goal of the proposed seismometer is to provide continuous observation of the natural electromagnetic emissions related to the coupling of seismic activity with the outer spaces and ionosphere, which utilize a spherical aluminum electrode 78mm in diameter with embedded enhanced preamplifier circuits that built to mount flush with the ground so as to preserve the configuration in which the antenna operates. The presented seismometer has a wide frequency response at low frequencies, it's typical sensitivity in the frequency range DC to 30MHz are shown to be and ,the dynamical range is >50dB in ELF and VLF and about 25dB in HF.

Abstract: AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System Architecture) defines a set of supporting distributed, function-driven software development methods and automotive electronic control units on the software architecture standardization program. KWP2000 (Keyword Protocol 2000) is a widely used automotive vehicle diagnostic protocol, the protocol to achieve a complete vehicle diagnostic services, and meet the OBDII (On Board Diagnose II) standard. This article describes the whole process which the KWP2000 communication software components based on K-line is designed in the MATLAB platform according to the AUTOSAR standard. The simulation tests and real tests showed good diagnostic performance of communication software. The software development methodology according to AUTOSAR not only improves the reusability and portability, but also reduces the software development lifecycle.

Abstract: In the power system, out-of-step disconnection is the final defensive line of protection, requiring high reliability. This paper analyzed the physical meaning of out-of-step and the principles of disconnection to study the applicability of each discrimination method. It analyzed characteristics and variations of some parameters while oscillation or out-of-step, including impedance, frequency, cosine voltage, etc. It created relevant fuzzy functions and fuzzy rules with trapezoidal membership function based on the given characteristics and variations. Then a comprehensive out-of-step algorithm is achieved by integrating fuzzy functions together with given fuzzy rules. The output is defuzzied to be the final result with barycenter method to make decisions. This algorithm is tested to be more generic.

Abstract: This paper aims to suggest and research a revolutionary method-transfer of electricity in outer Space with distance of hundreds of millions kilometers by ultra-cool plasma cables. Theory of plasma cable transferring is offered, developed and its possibilities researched. Offers conclusions from the research of a revolutionary new idea-transferring electric energy in the hard vacuum of outer space wirelessly, using a plasma power cord as an electric cable (wire).Transference of hundreds kilowatts of energy to Earth’s Space Station, transferring energy to the Moon or back, transferring energy to a spaceship at distance 100 million of kilometers, the transfer energy to Mars when one is located at opposite side of the distant Sun, transfer colossal energy from one of Earth’s continents to another continent wirelessly – using Earth’s ionosphere as cable, using Earth as gigantic storage of electric energy, using the plasma ring as huge MagSail for moving of spaceships.

Abstract: To cover the main contributions and developments in solar thermal collectors through focusing on materials, heat transfer characteristics and manufacturing challenges. A range of published papers and internet research including research work on various solar thermal collectors (flat plate, evacuated tubes, and heat pipe tube) were used. Evaluation of solar collectors performance is critiqued to aid solar technologies make the transition into a specific dominant solar collector. The sources are sorted into sections: finding an academic job, general advice, teaching, research and publishing, tenure and organizations. Provides information about types of solar thermal collectors, indicating what can be added by using evacuated tube collectors instead of flat plate collectors and what can be added by using heat pipe collectors instead of evacuated tubes. Focusing only on three types of solar thermal collectors (flat plate, evacuated tubes, and heat pipe tube). Useful source of information for consultancy and impartial advice for graduate students planning to do research in solar thermal technologies. This paper fulfils identified information about materials and heat transfer properties of materials and manufacturing challenges of these three solar thermal collectors.

Abstract: This paper proposes a security paradigm named self-trusted access control. The paradigm brought forward here is absolute different from others. It gives the computer user more power and more confidence with computing, which is specially called self-trusted access control. Its realization structure consists of hidden sensitivity label, mandatory access control and user setting. All of its components are mainly constructed on hardware level with no cooperation of OS, which makes it to be free of any kinds of software attacks. That is to say, it has a unique structure to assure that computing is trusted for the user, because user’s intentions are faithfully executed. This paper describes its principle and shows the accomplishment of such control on general computer architecture. As described, such security paradigm can make trusted computing indeed trustworthy to computer user.

Abstract: In this paper, based on the research of the Continuous Phase Modulation (CPM) receiver, we conclude that the coherent demodulation can achieve better frequency efficiency than the non-coherent demodulation, at the cost of higher design complexity. Hence, this paper proposes a novel differential soft decision scheme to reduce the complexity of the CPM receiver. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can reduce the complexity of the CPM receiver significantly, while causes a slight performance loss

Abstract: This paper proposed a 4-weighted fractional Fourier transform (4-WFRFT) based carrier modulation technique. The system performance applying such modulation is analyzed under burst interference, and then compared with single carrier (SC) modulation and multi carrier (MC) modulation based systems. Simulation results show that 4-WFRFT system achieves a better performance than those of SC and MC systems since the 4-WFRFT has the capability to disperse the energy of interference signals in fractional Fourier transform domain. When the SIR of burst interference is -2dB, there is no error floor occurs in 4-WFRFT system, while the error floor appears in both SC and MC systems.
