Abstract: In order to figure out the deficiency of the SVM on extensive sample, nature of SV is studied in this paper. An improved incremental training algorithm is put forward based on dimensional of samples. A chosen gene which got by density and distance criterion is used in this method. In this method the number of training samples is decreased and the space information is keeped. So, the training speed is improved while the precision is not reduced. And the simulation proved the efficiency of this method.

Abstract: Orthogonality among subcarriers of OFDM is destroyed by Doppler spread in high mobility environment, causing the decline of system performance. Based on the analyses of ICI principle, a low complexity ICI mitigation method is proposed by equalization in frequency domain. The method is characterized by joint channel estimation of decision feedback and pilot tracking with weighted correction, using estimation result of long training sequence as the initial value. System performance under conditions of different SNR and normalized Doppler shift was tested and compared using new method and conventional methods. Simulations show that the SER performance of our proposed method is satisfactory.

Abstract: Weight loss, after bariatric surgery, is not the only criterion but the significant outcome measure. Bariatric surgery is currently the most successful long-term treatment for morbid obesity. We aimed to evaluate weight loss in obese patients by using information typically reported in the initial evaluation carried out before bariatric surgery. A retrospective study of obese patients after bariatric surgery with two years' follow-up data was conducted. We analyzed the clinical information and laboratory data in the initial evaluation of patients experienced bariatric surgery for predictors. All data were analyzed by using multivariate adaptive regression splines. We have looked at 500 patients, consisting of 147 men and 353 women, for 2 years after operation. 427 (85.4%) patients successful lost weight (excess weight loss >50%) while 73 (14.6%) did not. MARS is a better modeling technique and the predictive accuracy is higher on the basis of multiple variables related to laboratory tests. Our findings demonstrated the significant result that obese patients of successful weight reduction after bariatric surgery were different operative methods, albumin, waist- hip ratio, HOMA, Insulin and Triglyceride.

Abstract: This study presents a risk management of the electric energy consumption in Nakhonratchasima industrial, case study in Thai Sanguan Cassava Starch Co.,Ltd. by AS/NZS 4360:2004 risk management standard. The objective of this study is to reduce the risk of electric energy consumption. Based on the risk inspection, the impact analysis of electric energy consumption is applied to manage an occasion risk. The analyzed risks are consumption risks and device risks. The consumption risks are load factor, the ratio of electric energy consumption to production unit and power consumption of each unbalance phase. The device risks are an efficiency of machinery and equipment, water pump usages, lighting system and air condition system. The results show that the use of machinery and equipment is the highest risk. Load factor, the ratio of electric energy consumption to production unit and water pump usages are ranged in medium risk level, while each phase of electric energy consumption, lighting system and air condition system are in low risk level. As a priority result, machine maintenance is an initial management to decrease the electric energy consumption. For reducing the electric energy demand, work schedule has been rearranged to enlarge the load factor. Operator controlling will reduce the ratio of electric energy consumption to production unit. The inverter, which is used to control motor in water pump usages, also reduce the risk of electric energy consumption. Finally, the low impact factor from lighting and air condition system are neglected.

Abstract: In this paper, a novel algorithm named SLS-Elman is put forward, which aims at more effectively training and learning small scale samples with many characteristic variables, and takes Sectional Least Squares principle and some structural property of Elman neural network into consideration. When doing characteristic variable reduction on high-dimension of small scale samples, the novelty algorithm takes relativity among dependent variables into account. Obtained data by this algorithm carry on training and simulating on a neural network; outputted network is more simplified in view of structure, and presents a more precise network model. The statistics of case analysis demonstrates novelty algorithm improves convergence rate and forecast precision, and efficiency. In the mean time, on purpose to test efficiency of novelty algorithm, it is compared with some algorithms such as Elman neural network algorithm based on Principal Component Analysis and so on, as a result, it presents more advantages.

Abstract: Task driven approach is widely used as an evaluation method for intelligent vehicle, however this approach may lead to many teams using the conservative approach to complete the task. Although the competition task can be completed, it has deviated from the goal of technological development actually. A cost function-oriented quantitative evaluation method is proposed in this study. The time to complete each task and the quality of each indicator are considered in the evaluation method. The cost function-oriented quantitative evaluation method guides the intelligent vehicle’s development in the "low-cost index" (i.e. high technology) direction. The evaluation results in the 2010 Future Challenge: Intelligent Vehicles and Beyond (FC’ 2010) competition showed that the proposed method can quantitatively evaluate the overall technical performance and individual technical performance of unmanned vehicles.

Abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to develop a dynamic model of biped locomotion and implement a suitable controller for it . The locomotion aimed to be realized in this thesis is walking on a flat horizontal sueface in the sagittal plane. a planar five-link biped robot , which consists of a torso, two thighs and two shanks, with five degree of freedom is modeled. A gait cycle of the walking motion includes the single support phase(SSP), the impact phase and the support end exchange phase. The dynamic equation at SSP is derived by using the Lagrangian formulation and the impact equation is derivd by using the momention change caused by the nonconservative force during impact and the constraint imposed in the impact leg.

Abstract: Surface accuracy measurement of a 1.5m-diameter novel inflatable antenna formed by 18 aluminum-coated Kapton® gores is investigated using digital photogrammetry. More than five hundred 3mm-diameter round retro-targets were glued on the surface of the antenna, and their 3D coordinates at different internal pressures of the antenna were obtained using V-STARS digital photogrammetric system. According to the measured data, the influence of internal pressure of the antenna on its surface accuracy was analyzed, and the deviation of gores’ center line and ribs on the surface were also studied. The results show that the internal pressure has significant influence on the surface accuracy of the antenna, especially near the antenna’s dome.

Abstract: The particularity of the underwater acoustic channel has put forward a higher request for collection and efficient transmission of the underwater image. In this paper, based on the characteristics of sonar image, wavelet transform is used to sparse decompose the image, and selecting Gaussian random matrix as the observation matrix and using the orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm to reconstruct the image. The experimental result shows that the quality of the reconstruction image and PSNR have gained great ascension compared to the traditional compression and processing of image based on the wavelet transform while they have the same measurement numbers in the coding portion. It provides a convenient for the sonar image’s underwater transmission.
