Abstract: In order to know about the damping characteristics of leaf spring in the actual working conditions, the finite element model was build with large deformation, interleaf friction and contact considered simultaneously. In the single sinusoidal excitation, the effects of different friction coefficient, amplitude and excitation frequency on the hysteresis and damping characteristics of leaf spring were studied. Many results were reached in the paper. It provided the references for researching the vibration characteristics of leaf spring further in the nonlinear states.

Abstract: Integral impellers are very important parts in the fields of aerospace, shipping and locomotive, whose manufacturing accuracy directly affects performance of key equipments. In developed countries special NC programming software is widely used in order to manufacture integral impellers, the vast majority of enterprises have not special NC programming software of integral impellers owing to expensive cost in China. Key technology of 5-axis NC Programming for integral impellers was solved by using the general software UG and precision machining of integral impellers had been implemented in 5-axis high-speed machining centre.

Abstract: Polyhedral surfaces are used as representation model for CAM and process planning purposes because of its simplicity for data exchange and geometric computation. However, there is few tool path planning strategies for such surfaces but the iso-plane method. In this paper, contour parallel path are generated for three-axis ball-end milling. This tool path is based on a novel algorithm for offsetting curves on polyhedral surfaces presented in this paper. It reduces the task of removing complex interfering of offset curve from 3D surface to 2D plane by flattening mesh surface, and avoids costly 3D Boolean set operations and expensive distance calculation. This results in an efficient tool-path generation. Empirical examples illustrate the feasibility the proposed method.

Abstract: According to the structure characteristic of the fixture design, the architecture of graphics library of fixture element is established. Based on the technologies of network, library, .NET and the developing mechanism of AutoCAD/MDT, the implemented strategy of the system of graphics library of the fixture element is presented. The remote sharing of the fixture resource information is realized. The system provides process engineer of the fixture design with assistant tools.

As a key tool of PDM, SmarTeam provides comprehensive management capabilities for data associated with products, covering concept formulation, design, manufacture, maintenance and disposal. In this paper, based on the notions of Class and Object, an integrated model to aid data management of product is proposed.

Abstract: The direct slicing software of three-dimensional model which can be run in the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 environment is successfully developed. The method is the use of the secondary development tool Pro/TOOLKIT, which is used in Visual Studio 2008, using VC++ language to write the dynamic link library files which can run in the Pro/E environment. The software realizes not only the function that direct slicing on three-dimensional models, but also the generation of NC code file through the use of custom class on slice and the Standard Template Library which save the three-dimensional contour data of each slice.

Abstract: This paper has been focused on presentation of application of computer methods in design and identification of PM materials in cold forming operations. The solutions for direct and inverse problems of powder forging have been described. In order to solve an identification problem for powder metallurgy materials we assume desired material model characterizing by specific material law with desired material parameters. The material parameters are the design variables of the optimization problem which have to be solved.

Abstract: In this article, a space-time continuous finite element method with interpolated coefficients for a class of semilinear parabolic problem is introduced and analyzed. Basic global error estimates are established under the convergence assumption for linear problem. Further application of the orthogonal expansion method which is to construct some superapproximate interpolating functions, the supperconvergence on mesh nodes is proved. Finally the result is tested by a numerical example.

Abstract: The prerequisite factors for the simulation and controlling of underwater vehicles are hydrodynamic coefficients, which we must measure accurately. In this paper, we took a complex shape remotely operated vehicle as the test model, and figured out the important coefficients that can be applicable for the open-shelf depth-setting TUV through a series of hydrodynamic tests. In order to boost the reliability of a depth-setting TUV system, we carry out numerical simulation and hydrodynamics method on the body of the TUV through the Dynamic Analysis of a single rudder .Comparing with empirical equation, the method has be predicted a high accuracy in hydrodynamic characteristic prediction of depth-setting towed vehicle . After changing the experiment environment of the TUV as possible as we can, a suitability algorithm can be used on the distribute system. And then, the pre-design and later validation of TUV with the conclusion of the simulation based on FLUENT which contribute to shorter calculating period and lower economy could show better depth-setting consequent. The paper draw the Process of the Dynamic Depth-setting TUV for three parts including simulation of the rubber , algorithm experiment of the body and the experiment on TUV.
