Abstract: Job shop scheduling is a key technology in modern manufacturing. Scheduling performance will decide the enterprises’ core competitiveness. In this paper, improved reinforcement learning with cohesion is used in dynamic job shop environment, and it eased the contradiction of precocious and slow convergence. Also the machine choice is considered. So the dual scheduling which included job and machine is achieved in this system. And it obtains better results through the experiments. The utilization of equipments and the emergency handling capacity can be improved in the dynamic environment.

Abstract: In order to solve the problems such as completeness and following performance of product model information in process of virtual assembly, a process-oriented virtual assembly model for product information is proposed in this paper. It applies attribute frame to constitute the mapping of geometry topology information and non-geometry information, and basis for information granularity, the structure of multi-layer representation for assembly model information is constructed by framework of tree structure. It can satisfy the requirements of representation completeness, dynamic following and real-time requirements in virtual assembly. A modeling system was established and its feasibility was verified by research result.

Abstract: To succeed in uncertain and constantly changing international business environment, firms need to adopt international project logistics. This paper explores the characteristics and analyzes the current situation related to the concept of international project logistics. The optimization model for transportation solution to international project logistics was established based on decision network planning technique and uncertainty theory. Stochastic programming theory was also applied to solve the model which allows decision-makers to reduce the total cost to as low as possible, guaranteed by a certain probability. Finally, an empirical study on international project logistics was conducted to verify the validity of the model. The knowledge gained from findings of this research can be used as framework for the development of international project logistics.

Abstract: By combining the modified nearest neighbor approach and the improved inver-over operation, an Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm for Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is proposed in this paper. The heuristic approach was tested in some benchmark instances selected from TSPLIB. In addition, a comparison study between the proposed algorithm and the Bee Colony Optimization (BCO) model is presented. Experimental results show that the presented algorithm outperforms the BCO method and can efficiently tackle the small and medium scale TSP instances.

Abstract: Remanufacturing is a relatively new and unknown field though it has implemented in some countries and achieved remarkable economic benefits. However this ‘Sleeping Giant’ in economy still does not attract enough attention from academe, therefore sufficient theoretical studies in this area have not been carried out. In an attempt to compensate for this gap, this paper presents the architecture of remanufacturing systematic engineering based on previous and current studies. It provides a reference for understanding and implementation of remanufacturing and further study.

Abstract: Low-voltage power line carrier (PLC) communication has received wide attention. However, testing standards are not well defined for PLC communication yet, and there are no professional, systematic and comprehensive detection indicators to measure and evaluate the quality of PLC communication. This paper proposed a low-voltage power line carrier communication evaluation system based on Virtual Instrument (VI). Simulation results revealed that the proposed system could precisely reflect the quality of the PLC communication.

Abstract: Considering low utilization rate of sheet metal, the low nature of a complete set and the overmuch work-in-process in the workshop during the process of the structural members of engineering machinery, this paper proposes a new optimized cutting method based on group technology with the basis of present sheet metal cutting. This method adopts the principles of divide and rule, which divides the processing cutting parts into several groups by clustering and deals with them separately. The method has been applied in industrial production and achieved good results.

Abstract: In some e-commerce system, users do not know performance of commodities described by numeric values, but they can provide conceptual descriptions, such as “high”, “medium” and “low” on its price. The query based on concepts as inputs is named conceptual query. The basic method of conceptual query is to convert user's fuzzy concept into standard SQL statement based on the domain knowledge. However, if a condition is composed of the high and multilevel concepts, then its conversion of the concepts is very complex. Its efficiency will be poor. A new knowledge-based query method on multilevel generalized data is proposed in this paper. The knowledge of fuzzy concepts needs to be established, and multilevel generalized data is generated, a knowledge-based multilevel query is achieved on generalized data. Experiments on the synthetic data sets show that on a higher level and multiple levels the query efficiency of the method proposed in the paper is better than the basic method. The knowledge-based conceptual query on multilevel generalized data will provide efficient methods for the query about housing products in rural town and can meet the needs of customers with different knowledge, and has higher practical value.
