Abstract: The new international toy safety regulations exert tougher requirements on toy materials’ safety and traceability. This paper first analyses the production business processes and requirements in small and medium toy manufacturing enterprises. Then it proposes the architecture of the toy production material tracking system based on key technologies of the Internet of Things. The two core issues are to record material code and batch, which are significant to track the high-risk materials precisely. The system based on the Internet of Things collects data more automatically. The data collection is real-time with higher accuracy and reliability. It has practical significance in improving product quality management and realizing enterprise information construction.

Abstract: Abstract: Formerly, the research to the assembly process of gear was commonly based on the normal assumption. However, in practice the clearance between gears in mesh does not necessarily obey normal distribution. Based on the mentioned above, the non-normal process capability analysis is fulfilled with the Box-Cox transformation and the data collected in the workshop. The corresponding result is compared with the directly obtained result, which validates the rationality and effectiveness.

Abstract: Synthetic error of CNC machine tool, mainly including geometric error and thermal error, is generally affected by many factors. And temperatures that include environment temperature and temperature asymmetry of machine tool are most important factor. Aiming at geometric error and thermal error mainly, this paper proposed a real-time synthetic error compensation solution for CNC machine tool based on Differential Resolver Function (DRF). The principle of this solution is offsetting the origin of workpiece coordinate system when implementing the NC code in machine tool. After real-timely collecting machine tool coordinates position and thermal key points’ temperatures, synthetic errors are calculated by the synthetic model that is beforehand constructed and stored in compensation equipment, and then the pulses that represent coordinate system origin offsetting value are generated and sent into NC system by DRF to realize synthetic error compensation of CNC machine tool.

Abstract: The processing of Sheet metal includes the number of process, which forms the finished product. Shearing is the preliminary process in the sheet metal processing industries. In this paper, an attempt has been made to develop an approach to predict the optimal process parameters such as Squareness and length for the Shearing process on sheet metal. The Grey based Taguchi method is used to produce the optimal level of the selected controlled factors. The Grey relational grade is calculated and the statistical analysis of variance results the significant parameters. The obtained model is further processed with the simulated annealing algorithm to get the optimal process parameter values.

Abstract: This paper introduced an automatic height detection system of cotton top-cutting based on SCM80C51. The system finished primarily signal collection of cotton height, signal transmission, execution device control and feedback control between stroke displacement of hydraulic cylinder and the cotton height, implemented accurately height control to made the top cutter automatically adjust the top- cutting height to the change of the cotton height, completed precision operations of agricultural.

Abstract: Assembly quality control is the main problem concerned by assembly departments in aircraft industry. This paper discusses the key assembly characteristics (KACs) which are the critical dimension characteristics for assembly quality in details, and then proposes a mathematical method which consists of identification and blending control method (BCM) towards KACs. BCM includes tightening tolerance and compensation, which can quantitatively control the KACs determined by validating error stack-up. A demonstration is given to verify the validity of the proposed method by controlling the assembly quality of an aircraft vertical tail.

Abstract: In nano-like or nano-regime trench DRAM products, the product yield usually determines the marketing competition. Due to active area (AA) layer shift in lithography process, the cell leakage and the contact resistance at the source terminal of a cell transistor are increased. These factors will deteriorate the cell integrity in charging and access functions. To monitor this inferiority from lithography deviation, an improved Kelvin measurement and a novel pattern design were recommended. The yield improvement with this technology was really conspicuous.

Abstract: At present a wide variety of mixed products with small batch sizes is one of the manufacturing modes in modern production. It is difficult to apply traditional Shewhart’s control charts efficiently and effectively in such environments. In this paper, we propose a t chart for monitoring a process which has the characteristics of not only being short run but also with mixed product. This new t chart is used to monitor the process mean for two illustrative examples and it is shown that this chart can work effectively in short run manufacturing for mixed product.

Abstract: A SVDD (Support Vector Data Description) based MCUSUM (Multivariate Cumulative Sum) chart is proposed and referred as S-MCUSUM chart, which has an advantage of distribution free. Numerical experiments on the performance of the S-MCUSUM chart is compared to the COT (Cumulative of T) chart. The results show that the COT chart is somewhat better than the S-MCUSUM chart for multivariate normally distributed data. However, the S-MCUSUM chart is much better than the COT chart for banana-shaped distributed data which is a typical non-normal distribution.
