Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of clothing style on consumers’ perceptive and behavioral reaction, using questionnaire approach. By factor analysis, three perception factors, including fashionable-feeling, elegant-feeling and pure-feeling, are extracted. By one-way ANOVA, the difference of perceptive and behavioral reaction evoked by different style was compared. By stepwise multiple regression analysis, the effect of consumer perception on behavior was investigated. The result shows different clothing style trigged different consumers’ perceptive and behavioral reaction. Consumers’ perception has significantly influence on behavior. Fashion designers and merchandisers should pay more attention on consumers’ perception which drives their behavior.

Abstract: A garment was designed for wheelchair users in this paper. On one hand, we optimized garment structure to make it easy to wear off, to facilitate long time sitting and toileting with application of ergonomics, on the other hand, according to wheelchair users’ needs, different fabrics were selected and matched to have a comprehensive performance with soft, warm, breathable, antibacterial and wear resistant function. Based on wheelchair users’ questionnaires, combined with technologies such as fabric performance testing, computer graphics software, apparel CAD system, optimized garment greatly improved quality of daily life for wheelchair users, to some extent, providing a reference for future development of care apparel for disabled and elderly people.

Abstract: To improve fashion shop service quality, this study investigated customer perception and its effect on satisfaction, using questionnaire approach. By factor analysis, three perceived quality dimensions, including shopping atmosphere, personal service and merchandise characteristics, are extracted. By stepwise multiple regression analysis, the effect of perception dimensions on customer satisfaction was investigated. Furthermore, the effect of all of the quality attributes in each perception dimension on customer satisfaction was also investigated. The result shows all of the perception dimensions significantly influence customer satisfaction. Among them, personal service-related attributes were confirmed the key role for the success of fashion shop. Fashion shop managers should reasonably allocate their limited resources to service attributes based on their contributions to customer satisfaction.

Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the influence of NaOH concentration and temperature used for cellulose extraction from sweet-bamboo leaves on the kinetics of the extraction reaction. The NaOH concentration and the temperature used for the extraction were varied and their effect was examined. It was found that the extraction rate was accelerated by either the increase of NaOH concentration or extraction temperature. The NaOH concentration affected the reaction rate constant, k, and the activation energy, E and the order of the reaction, n. Increase of NaOH concentration enhanced the reaction to move forwards, thus reducing the k and E values of the reaction and the order of the reaction, n, was changed. The correlation of the temperature and the NaOH concentration with the k value showed that at the lower NaOH concentration, the temperature influenced on the k value more significantly. The influence of the NaOH concentration on the k value was lessened with increase of the extraction temperature.

Abstract: In this paper, ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) superfine fiber was fabricated by flash-spinning method using UHMWPE as the fiber-forming polymer, 1, 2-dichloroethane as the main solvent. Use central composite design principle, the four factors which mainly influenced the properties of the fiber: spinning temperature, spinning pressure, spinning solution concentration, room temperature were designed for the experiments on the basis of single factor experiment. It can be seen from the results that the predict value are very close to the actual value, the sequence that the factor impact on the overall property of the fiber is: spinning solution concentration>spinning temperature>spinning pressure>room temperature. The optimum condition obtained is: spinning temperature is 196.6 °C, spinning pressure is 12.7MPa, spinning solution concentration is 6.3%, at room temperature 15.1 °C, and the overall property of the fiber was 92.9 under these conditions. Spinning fiber under the optimum condition use 5L autoclave, and the overall performance of the fiber had an average of 91.2. So it is feasible that using this method to optimized the flash spinning process.

Abstract: The majority of cement porters worked without professional protective clothing, also the existing work suits have not been able to satisfy the needs of protection and comfort. There has not been an international standard aimed at cement porter's protective clothing yet. According to the results of the field study and the principle of protection priority, two ensembles of cement porter's protective clothing were designed and made of selected materials. Subjective means and objective trials were used to evaluate the properties of the garments. The conclusions provided the sufficient basis for formulation of the standard about cement porter's protective clothing specially. This study expanded the scopes of protective clothing research and supplied the reference for other dustproof clothing.

Abstract: Kubelka-Munk theory and a functional hypothesis on the relationship between colored turbid materials and colorant concentration (the so called additivity color-mixing law) work together and play an important role in color science and technology. This paper is to investigate the relations between the dye concentration and the Kubelka-Munk fundamental optical parameters through a series of systematical experiments, data processing and analyzing on fabrics dyed by disperse dyes. The experimental results question the hypothesis.

Abstract: The study focused on novel surface modification technology: low temperature plasma, which is characterized by clean, high efficiency and energy-saving. Polylactic acid (PLA) non-woven materials were treated by this means under different treatment time. The SEM and FT-IR were used to observe the surface properties and internal structures of samples. Whether the wetting contact angle and the biodegradable property of materials were modified by low temperature plasma was discussed. The results indicated that with the increase of treatment time, the etching effect of plasma and some functional groups especial hydrophilic groups increased significantly. When they were only treated 3 minutes the wetting contact angle declined from 113.86° to 85.49°. Additionally, the hygroscopicity and biodegradability of materials were improved by low temperature plasma treatment.

Abstract: Regenerated cellulose fiber is the most widely-used and most variety of cellulose fiber. Five categories and ten kinds of fibers such as lyocell fiber, modal fiber, bamboo pulp fiber, sheng-bast fiber, Outlast viscose fiber were chosen as the research object. The strength property and elasticity of fibers in dry and wet state were tested and analysis. The comprehensive performances of fabrics were studied and mechanical properties of the fibers were listed in the order from good to bad by grey clustering analysis. The results show lyocell G100 and lyocell LF have better comprehensive mechanical properties ,while other new regenerated cellulose fibers’ comprehensive mechanical properties are general. Among these fibers modal fiber’s comprehensive mechanical properties are slightly better than sheng-bast fibers’ and bamboo pulp fibers’. Modal fiber, sheng-bast fiber and Bamboo pulp fiber have no significantly poor single parameter and all of them have better comprehensive mechanical properties than various viscose fibers. Outlast viscose in which has been added phase change materials sensitive to temperature by Microcapsule techniques fundamentally keeps similar comprehensive mechanical properties with other regenerated cellulose fibers, but its properties decline slightly .

A Model Construction about Predicting the Rate of Dimensional Change after Wash of Fabric Composites
Abstract: This article reports the construction of a model for predicting the rate of dimensional change of fabric composites after wash. The mechanical properties of the fabrics and fused interlinings were tested in FAST system and KES system and the parameters of fabrics and interlinings are analyzed by a objective mathematic method. Through this method, eight principal components are obtained. A BP neural network with a single hidden layer is constructed including eight input nodes, six hidden nodes and one output nodes. During training the network with a back-propagation algorithm, the eight principal components are used as input parameters, while the rate of dimensional change are used as output parameters. All original data are preprocessed and the learning process is successful in achieving a global error minimum. The the rate of dimensional change can be predicted with this training network and there is a good agreement between the predicted and tested values.
