Abstract: As an increasing numbers of people move into the cities, the need of places for community in such cities is required. Urban open spaces have already take a huge part in people`s daily life. It is expected that a high quality of places can be created for people. The urban open spaces design played an important role in modern urban design and planning. Squares and plazas developed a lot in city centres. But there is a problem that it is hard to build new open spaces in the historic city centres as the spaces is very limited. The genesis of this research came from two distinct sources. First, there are a number of factors which influence urban design. The surroundings, memories and the experiences of the city for people can be defined as contexts. ‘Contexts’ constrain and inform all areas of urban design action. Second, there was a need for people to have a special pleasure from the sight of public spaces. With a focus on the urban design, the main factors presented here are the open spaces. The role and meaning of the elements that play in urban design and the ways in which they are designed, developed and detailed are the most important elements for landscape architects to research and consider. In the end of this paper, the author developed a series of general design process and some design ideas as basis of design model of urban open space for the urban history context extending.

Abstract: An optimal design is taken on the external respiration double skin facade (DSF) of a office building in Wuhan. The indoor thermal environment of the office units in the building have been simulated by taken computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, and then the paper analyzes the indoor temperature changes under the condition that the internal airflow status of the DSF for natural ventilation, without shade, vents closed and other cases, discusses the influences of different inner glazed skin’s thermal properties, DSF for active ventilation and different wind speed on indoor thermal environment, according to the simulation results we obtain parameters of relevant optimal design.

Abstract: Establishing a kind of electric heating system of phase change floor, analysing the stability and comfort through the simulation. Choosing the phase change materials, which the phase transition temperature is 29°C and the latent heat is 188 kJ/kg. The phase change materials used in electric heating floor heating system, comparing the general electric heating floor system, Calculating the floor surface temperature and indoor air temperature. It turned out that the heat storage of phase change floor system will be well, when compared to the common system, indoor temperature changes gently, human comfort higher. Phase change materials stores the cheap electricalheatenergy, and releases during daytime, So as to realize energy conservation and economy .

Abstract: In this essay, the cooling method design was discussed from the perspective of architecture design using passive design based on the climate and geological environment of Shenzhen city. It concluded that shading and natural ventilation should be the major cooling method for this area, and design recommendations were put forward based on analysis from the perspective of plan layout, shape design, space form and detailed construction design.

Abstract: Considering that energy-saving of public building is affected by many complicated factors, and there exists difference energy-saving methods from the building project design stage, construction stage and operational stage. This article has firstly made an analysis from the point of the systems engineering, pointing out that the public building energy systems is based on the life cycle of the theory, and then set up the evaluation target system of public building energy systems. The evaluation target system includes energy consumption target, economic target, sustainable development target, environmental target, technical target and function target. Finally, we applied Extension evaluation method to evaluate public building energy-saving, and adopt AHP to make the weight of targets.

Abstract: The cooling and heating resources contained in urban sewage have significant influence on the “energy conservation and emission reduction”. From the point of extensive utilization, the paper put forward the concept of sewage thermal-energy utilization plan, and discussed the types, goals, principles, content and steps of the plan. Selecting principles and flow-volume calculation method of flow nodes were also illustrated. The study results provide reference for industrialization of urban sewage thermal-energy resources application in construction.

Abstract: A solar assisted air source heat pump (SAASHP) system is proposed to improve heating performance of air source heat pump (ASHP).The proposed system has been applied in two buildings, a series of experimental investigations were conducted in the both applications, it indicated that the SAASHP system gets better heating performance than ASHP system, the coefficient of performance (COP) gets 10% and 65% increase respectively in two applications. It is also concluded that the ratio of solar collector area to construction area significantly affects the improvement of heating performance in SAASHP system. This work may promote further research and more applications of SAASHP system.

Abstract: Abstract: the complex biological reactor is the new biological processing equipment which combine the active sludge and the bilolgical membrane method. The use of this technique to deal with the sewage , as the result show, the dislodge of the COD ammonia and nitrogen is very stable, and it fit to the nation’s standard of sewage discharge.
