Abstract: The room-temperature storage modulus of 3-4 years Moso bamboo and Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro were tested by Q800 dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMA). The outer faces of Moso bamboo and Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro board as laminated fabricated at different of ages were tested by INSTRON 5582.The results shows that the storage modulus of the outer layer of Moso bamboo and Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro under room-temperature conditions increased with aging of Moso bamboo and Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro. The stiffness of Moso bamboo and Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro increased as growing ages of Moso bamboo and Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro. However, The outer layer of Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro of 3 years or up has a storage modulus on the order of 1010Pa(10GPa)under room-temperature conditions, which is definitely qualified as the reinforcement material for the wind turbine blades composites. But the outer layer of Moso bamboo of 4 years or below may be lower than 1010Pa, which isn’t definitely qualified as the reinforcement material for the wind turbine blades composites. Generally it isn’t qualified as the reinforcement material for the wind turbine blades composites.

Abstract: L-phenylalanine fermentation (L-Phe) is produced by the preparation method of PPA-transamination using the ferment liquor, which is the production of the E.coli No.1 fermented in heat pipe bioreactor (HPBR), the technical indexes are superior. Compared with in the traditional agitated bioreactor, the biomass(taken its measure by OD value) of microbe fermented in new bioreactor is enhanced from 0.40 to 0.54, moreover, the average rate of L-Phe production by the preparation method of PPA-transamination is raised from 70% to 75%.

Abstract: As the oilfield development entering into the stage of high water cut, more and more aging oil is produced during oil production, transmission and ground treatment processes due to the changes of mining and transportation mode. The emulsion has a strong stability because of the complicated ingredients of the aging oil. So the conventional dehydration methods are hard to reach the dehydration effect. Therefore, to make sure the aging oil dehydration meet the quality requirements, ensure the oilfield production system running smoothly, enhance the economic efficiency are very important. So the ultrasonic, thermal chemical and electrical impulses are further carried out. Through the experimental results, it is obvious that under the conditions of the 2 kHz in power frequency, pulse dehydration time for 90~120min.

Abstract: The faults of the marine mechanicals happens suddenly usually cause to loss hugely. So it’s necessary to monitor and analyze the condition of the machine machines. Now, more and more tools have been applied to the marine mechanicals’ condition monitoring and fault diagnoses. The spectral analysis technique has been widely used to detect the contents of abrasive metal in the lubricating oil. To mine the spectral data better, a method was put forward, which can be used to build the healthy record and reveal the important information about the operated conditions of the equipment. In the method, the similar information of the principal component in oil was obtained in the stable abrasion of the different friction pairs of equipment. The composition of mechanical and electrical equipment was also gained. The healthy record was created preliminarily according to all the information. In the malfunction detection of the equipment, cooperated with the data of the threshold of oil, the analysis results of spectra can be compared with the healthy record. So, the abnormal abrasion can be judged accurately.

Abstract: Biodegradable core-shell structured nanofibrous scaffolds with silk fibroin (SF) and poly(L-lactic acid-co-ε-caprolactone) (P(LLA-CL)) blends as shell and bovine serum albumin (BSA)-containing SF as core were fabricated by coaxial electrospinning. Morphology and microstructure of the nanofibers were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results demonstrated that core-shell structured nanofibers were obtained, furthermore, the nanofibers became greatly uniform and the average diameters were thinner in comparison with only core BSA solution after adding 10-20 w/v% SF in core BSA solution. The 13C NMR clarified the SF conformation transformed from random coil to β-sheet when treated with 75 w/v % ethanol vapor. The mechanical test showed core-shell structured nanofibrous scaffolds possessed good mechanical properties but lower than SF/P(LLA-CL) blended nanofibrous scaffolds.

Abstract: Seed development traits of Sorbus pohuashanensis are discussed with special regard to factors influencing seed germination. The purpose of this research was to provide additional data for to suggest a method of improving seed germination in S. pohuashanensis. The limiting factors for seed germination are embryo developmental stage, seed coat (naked embryo germination was significantly higher than for intact seeds), seed hydration, and germination temperature. These results infer that for S. pohuashanesis, ptimum germination requires earlier seed collection (before dormancy intensifies), seed hydration sufficient for respiration to take place, and lower germination temperature than room temperature.

Abstract: Arch dam’s failure is a super nonlinear irreversible process. We can find the damage mechanism from research of it and get a more reasonable and perceive safety factor. It analyses overload of the highest RCC arch dam of the world and shows dam’s failure process by water specific gravity overcharge method and water-level overcharge method. It gets overload safety factor from study on arch dam’s failure process and also gives the reason that why different methods get different safey factor.

Abstract: Osteoporosis is the most common metabolic bone disease and the most common cause of fractures in older adults. Vertebral compression fracture (VCF) is the most common complication in patients with osteoporosis. At present, vertebroplasty (VP) and kyphoplasty (KP) are two minimally invasive techniques used to treat osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures. In clinical use, KP and VP have stable and reliable therapeutic effects. However, there are still some complications and issues surrounding KP and VP application, and for long-term clinical follow-up. Thus, it is important to continue to improve the technology of the filler materials used in KP and VP in order to evolve the biomechanical characteristics of the postoperative vertebra, and to reduce the incidence of complications. The filler materials used for both techniques require good biocompatibility, good biomechanical strength and stiffness, and good radiopacity for the fluoroscopy guided procedures. PMMA and new filler materials (calcium phosphate cement, calcium sulfate cement, composite materials) are now available for clinical use. In this review paper, we will focus on the issues and characteristics of these filler materials.

Abstract: Seed development traits of Sorbus pohuashanensis are discussed with special regard to embryo formation. The purpose of this research was to provide additional data for understanding embryo developmental processes and identifying the appropriate developmental stage for seed collection in S. pohuashanensis. A correlation was found between the embryo developmental stages and the time after pollination. The developmental stages cover globular, heart, torpedo and cotyledonary embryo stages within 30 days post-pollination. There were significant differences in embryo length, width and length to width ratio at different development stages. A significant negative correlation between embryo dry weight (DW) and moisture content (MC) was also observed.

Abstract: The function of AcoX, encoded by acoX existing in aco clusters which are responsible for acetoin catabolism in some microbes from the Kingdoms of Bacteria and Archaea, remained unknown till today. Although some AcoXs were annotated as ATP-NAD kinases in bioinformatics databases, AcoXs were found to form an independent family during evolution in this study. By bioinformatic analysis and molecular comparison, AcoX was postulated to have the catalytic function of acetoin phosphorylation. The AcoX from Pseudomonas putida KT2440 was expressed in Escherichia coli using the pET28a vector. The His-tagged AcoX was purified and digested by thrombin. The deconvolution of circular dichroism spectra using K2d algorithm indicates a >28% and >14% content for alpha and beta structures in AcoX, respectively. But unfortunately, not only the activities of NAD kinase, pyruvate kinase, and methylglyoxal synthase, but also the postulated enzymatic activity of acetoin kinase was not detected under all the conditions studied.
