Abstract: Using Turbiscan stability analyzer made in FORMULACTION Company from France, the effect of displacement agents on stability of produced liquid from ASP flooding can be quickly and accurately detected by measure both the change of backscattering(for dehydration rate) and the change of transmission light (for oil in the sewage water). It was found that the stability of W/O emulsion gradually increased with the displacement agents(such as alkali, surfactant and polymer), which means the dehydration rate gradually decreased, and the stability of O/W emulsion gradually increased, which means the oil content in the sewage water increased, but content of alkali is lower than 700mg/L, the result is on contrary.

Abstract: A new generation of gun propellant, named Modified Single Base Propellant (MSBP), was successfully studied recently. The MSBP was prepared from single base propellant grain by impregnation with blasting oil, followed by deterring with deterrent in water medium. The function components in this propellant were nitroglycerine (NG) and polymer ester (NA). The concentration profiles of them were studied by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Microspectroscopy. The combustion performance of this propellant was investigated by means of closed-bomb tests and interior ballistic tests. It is found that the concentration profile of the function component is the key factor in MSBP. The static combustion performance and the characteristic of the interior ballistic are dependent on the concentration profile of function component.

Abstract: Methacrolein is an important intermediate in the synthesis of methyl methacrylate (MMA), which is widely used for producing acrylic plastics or producing polymer dispersions for paints and coatings. In this paper, methacrolein was synthesized by condensation of propionaldehyde with formaldehyde in the pressense of amine salt through Mannich base intermediate at the atmospheric pressure. The optimal reaction conditions were obtained. The water content in starting mixture were also investigated

Abstract: The Claisen-Schmidt condenstion between benzaldehyde and acetophenone has been carried out under hydrothermal conditions. The traditional weak base sodium carbonate and four common metals or metal oxides in laboratory were chosen to catalyze this reaction. The comparative study showed that Na2CO3, Zn, ZnO are three good catalysts for hydrothermal synthesis of chalcone, and the reaction conditions were optimized.

Abstract: The high-carbon paraffin in crude oil will deposit at a very high temperature, which disturbs oil production seriously, so the prevention and control of high-carbon paraffin becomes an important task. Because of the characteristic of high-carbon paraffin, the conventional wax removal and inhibition only plays a small part. Components and structure of the crude oil from Shengli, Tuha, and Kazakhstan PKKR are analyzed by methods of GC, 1H-NMR and so on; It is proved that the main reasons why high-carbon paraffin deposition is serious are low content of asphaltene and resin, high gas to oil ratio, and high-carbon paraffin contained in the crude. The paraffin inhibition mechanism is researched by microscope and contact angle instrument. It is found that the paraffin inhibitor can prevent paraffin crystal from forming 3D network structure by modifying its structure, and mitigate paraffin deposition by changing the wettability of paraffin deposition surface. At last, both paraffin inhibition effect and evaluation method are referred. The paraffin inhibiting rate for the crude oil with high-carbon paraffin is above 60%.

Abstract: Coke powder (CP) added as the substitution of lean coal for coal blending was carried out in 5 kg coke oven. The influences of the particle size, the particle size interval and the amount of CP on the coke quality were investigated. The interfaces in which CP added inset the coke were discussed by means of microplariscope and SEM to confirm the effect of the microstructure on the coke quality. The results showed that the optimal particle size interval, the particle size and the amount of CP were 0.1~0.2 mm, <0.3 mm and 3 wt%, respectively.

Abstract: Benzyl 4-ethyloctanoate was synthesized by the reaction of 4-ethyloctanoyl chloride with benzyl alcohol, and its synthesis conditions were optimized. The yield of benzyl 4-ethyloctanoate was about 93%. Based on the synthesis of benzyl 4-ethyloctanoate, phenethyl 4-ethyloctanoate, phenylpropanol 4-ethyloctanoate and cinnamyl 4-ethyloctanoate were prepared. The odor evaluations indicate that these four new ester compounds have floral and sweet note. These ester compounds have relatively high molecular weights and can be used as fixing agent to prolong the fragrance compounds lifetime.

Abstract: A three-step route was used in the study to synthesize the Iso E Super®. Firstly, acetaldehyde was reacted with butanone to obtain 3-methyl-3pentene-2-one, which, in turn, was reacted with myrcene to form a subsitiuted acyl cyclohexene. Finally, the so called Diels-Alder adduct was cyclized. The structure of the products was confirmed by NMR, IR, GC-MS and Roman analysis. The method used has the advantages of readily availability of starting materials, mild reaction conditions, convenient manipulation and moderately high yields, so it has a promising prospect in industrial production

Abstract: Because of disadvantages of converter steelmaking with semi-steel in Panzhihua Steel, such as slow-footed slag forming, low rate of dephosphorization, high rate of rephosphorization after converter smelting, studies on increasing dephosphorization rate have been carried out. These studies comprise the optimization of slagging process, oxygen supply, bottom argon supply, end-point control of converter smelting, and so on. With these countermeasures, the rate of dephosphorization has been increased obviously. The results show that the average rate of dephosphorization is above 90% with single-slag process during converter smelting. Otherwise, content of phosphorus at the end-point of converter smelting can be controlled below 0.007%, and rephosphorization rate after converter smelting can be controlled below 0.003%, which meets the requirement of [P]≤0.010% for steel products.
