Abstract: Artificial cultivation of solid culture medium of North Cordyceps was optimized in this experiment. The results show that, the North Cordyceps can be cultivated in many types of solid culture medium, the growth rate and density of the hyphae was highest in a single solid culture medium with rice as the solid substrate, but adding 10%-15% wheat bran in rice solid culture medium, the growth rate and density of the hyphae is better than the single matrix of rice; the suitable nutrient solution was determined by contrast test and L9 (34) orthogonal test, the composition was sucrose 2%, yeast extract 1.5%, MgSO4 0.1%, KH2PO4 0.1%; the suitable solid culture medium of the North Cordyceps sinensis was determined by the L9 (33) orthogonal test, the composition was rice 85%, wheat bran 15%, pH 5.5-6.5, the ratio of solid and water ( solid matrix / nutrient solution )was 1:1.5.

Abstract: In the study, through the addition astaxanthin into the bait for the pearl oyster Pinctada martensii for 3 months, we studied the accumulation and existence form of astaxanthin in pearl oyster through qualitative and quantitative analysis which adopted High Performance Liquid Chromatography method; the transmission of astaxanthin in shells was detected by Micro-Raman spectrometry. The results showed: 6.870±1.356μg/g of astaxanthin existed in the control group of Pinctada martensii, and 74.799±5.907μg/g of astaxanthin existed in the experimental group, some of them were existent in the form of astaxanthin esters. Weak carotenoid characteristic peak occurred in the control group, while the carotenoid characteristic peaks intensity enhanced obviously in the experimental group, which illustrated remarkable increase of carotenoid content in the shell. These findings will not only provide the basis for colorful pearl cultivation via food-borne transmission but also lay a foundation for further artificial regulation and control of pearl color.

Abstract: The method was established to detect fourteen sulfonamides residuces in Penaeus vannamei by high performance liquid chromatography coupled with post-column derivation. Sulfonamides residues were extracted with ethyl acetate after adding sulfapyridine as internal standard. The extract was concentrated. The residues were transferred to hydrochloric acid solution. The solution was defatted with n-hexane. The compounds were detected by HPLC with fluorescence detector .The standard addition method was used. The calibration curves were linear. The recoveries ranged from 77.8% to 103.6%. The relative standard deviations were all below 9.1%. Quantitative detection limits of fourteen sulfanomides ranged from1.0μg/kg to 5.0μg/kg. Results indicated that the method was easier, faster and more accurate.

Abstract: Chinese gum rosin were digested by microwave-assisted sample digestion, and then the metal and semimetal elements in it were detected by inductive coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES). Most metal and semimetal elements mass fractions in gum rosin are less than 5.0mg/kg, among which mass fractions of Al, Ca, Fe, Mg, Na are relatively higher. Some metal and semimetal elements in gum rosin may influence auto-oxidative rate to bring about color changing.

Abstract: The aim of this study was to observe the antioxidant effect of hydrolysates derived from bighead carp protein (HBCP). The effect was observed through the life span experiment of D. melanogaster and was evaluated by antioxidant indexes of D-galactose (D-gal) induced senile mice. The mean and maximum life span of D. melanogaster with HBCP supplement in nutritional medium was compared to that of control group, which were fed without any addition. The senile mice were induced by celiac injection of D-gal for six week. Experiment groups received HBCP at different dosages (3 g/kg, 1.5 g/kg and 0.5 g/kg) by intragastric administration, while the aged group received saline every day. Contents of malonadehide (MDA), activities of superoxide dimutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) were determined. The results showed that the addition of HBCP in feedstuff could increase the mean and maximum life span of D. melanogaster. Compared to the D-gal induced senile group, contents of liver and brain MDA in mice which received HBCP (3 g/kg and 1.5 g/kg) by intragastric administration were significantly decreased (p<0.01), while the activities of the antioxidative enzyme were increased. This result indicated that HBCP had an antioxidant effect for D-gal induced senile mice and can extend the life span of D. melanogaster.

Abstract: The objective of this research is to study equilibrium adsorption, adsorption isotherm and the amount of the phytochemical called Micronice Bio MEX 3, which is adsorbed on various supporters. Micronice is a biodegradable chemical liquid product collected from Technogreen Company Limited. The supporters in this work are activated carbon, zeolite and brick which are used as adsorbents. The supporters were immersed in the Micronice with various periods to find out their adsorption equilibrium time. The results show that the adsorption equilibrium time for all supporters is 60 minutes and the mass adsorption percentages of activated carbon, zeolite and brick are 14.05%, 1.58% and 2.24%, respectively. An adsorption isotherm can be described by the Langmuir and Freundlich models. The Freundlich constants of activated carbon, zeolite and brick are KF = 4.76 x10-8 (mg/g)(L/mg)1/n , 7.15x10-8 (mg/g)(L/mg)1/n and 1.10x10-4 (mg/g)(L/mg)1/n , n = 0.772, 0.619 and 0.922, respectively. The Langmuir constants of activated carbon, zeolite and brick are KL = 756.62 L/mg, 12,924 L/mg and 3,918.60 L/mg, qo = 1,428.57 mg/g, 44.25 mg/g and 303.030 mg/g. The results present that the adsorption mechanism of all supporters can be well described by both Langmuir and Freundilch models and the best supporter is activated carbon.

Abstract: Microwave heating has been used in desulfurization of coal. Removal of organic sulfur and organic sulfur forms alterations of Xishan (XS) coal and Yunnan (YN) coal was investigated under microwave and ultrasonic irradiation. The results showed the optimum conditions for desulfurization were 50 min and 560 W for microwave and ultrasound for both coals. The desulfurization rate was maximum 23.53% for XS coal and 76.58% for YN coal. The effect of combining microwave and ultrasonic irradiation on desulfurization was stronger than simple microwave irradiation. The content of sulphone sulfur in coal was increased from the XPS after microwave and ultrasonic co-enhanced oxidative desulfurization.
