Abstract: A new vision-based approach for robust vehicle detection is addressed in this study. First, fast wavelet transform (FWT) is proposed to extract image texture, while grey level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) is employed to measure and analyze the extracted texture. Then, vehicles can be extracted because the vehicle sections and the shadow sections have different textures in the foreground image. Moreover, we put forward the state and observation matrixes of Kalman filter which can be used to track vehicles under complicated traffic scenes. Experimental results in real traffic scenes show that the proposed methods are effective and efficient.

Abstract: In order to solve the poor quality of video transmission system on the platform for tracked robot motion, we have designed a video transmission system of tracked robot motion platform adopting a streaming media SDK of DirectShow and the real-time transmission protocol of RTP, and we also analyzed and improved the communication quality of the system. The experimental results show that the new design has greatly advantage in reducing the packet loss ratio and time delay phenomenon, and enhance the quality of the video transmission. The conclusion of the research has a great significance in promoting the accuracy and timeliness in the semi-autonomous control of tracked robot under complicated environment.

Abstract: A research scheme of Automatic Testing System based on virtual instrument technique is presented in this paper. The virtual instrument technique is applied into the detecting instrument control system and detecting station is controlled with the programming language Lab Windows/ CVI. This testing platform adopts the design based on HTPXI2010I ,HTPXI3730,HTPXI4387,HTPXI4484 board. During the measurement and control process, the generation and collection of the start signal and the input signal based on the testing platform. Meanwhile, every parameter is collected in real time, saved and generated the test report.

Abstract: With the fast developing about automobile electric technology, the advanced communication-network technology CAN-Bus is used in the designing of automobile instrument panel, and takes place of the traditional mechanical and electrical design. In this paper, a design of electronic automobile instrument has been introduced. The MCU is designed as a controller. In the design, traveled distance is displayed by LCD, revolving speed of wheels, running speed of car, water temperature and rest fuel amount is displayed by pointer driven by stepper motor. The automobile BUS-IP use two wires to communicate with the other CAN node, realize the resource using in common among the ECU. It has become the dominant technology in the future time. The content of thesis divides into hardware and software. CAN signal can be used to communicate between the power and driving system, use on-off circuit to control the automobile body information.

Abstract: As an important active safety control method, vehicle yaw stability control guarantees the dynamic stability of vehicle. A wheel drive vehicle yaw stability controller based on model predictive control theory is designed to plan the longitudinal forces of the four wheels online to control the driving torque or braking torque of each wheel. With the designed controller, the vehicle is able to track the desired yaw rate in the process of turning. The yaw stability and longitudinal characteristics of the vehicle are guaranteed at the same time.

Abstract: Objective: In order to promote paralyzed patients’ recovery of their motor function, we designed this functional electrical stimulation (FES) signal generator. Method: We used AT89C52 MCU and digital analog converter as the core to compose hardware system. By analyzing the time domain characteristics of common waveforms and the movement-related neural signals, we designed the corresponding MCU program, then the expected waveforms can be generated as signal sources of this therapeutic apparatus. Results:This signal generator is able to produce series of waveforms in the time domain, such as sine wave, rectangular wave, triangular wave signal, and neural signal bands related with movement .Conclusion: Compared with the traditional signal generators [1], this signal generator has the advantages of simple structure, complete functions, low cost and convenience. Using movement-related neural signals which were collected from animal experiments as signal sources is helpful to induce the coordinated movement and reduce the muscle fatigue.

Abstract: This article shows a composed method for modeling the concurrent execution of working processes in flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) by a special class of Petri nets named Resource Oriented Petri nets (ROPN). Essentially, the type of net comes from the availability of system resources. The analysis of ROPN is used to characterize deadlock situations in terms of full markings for certain structure named PPC. For the sake of preventing the system from deadlocks, a policy is proposed based on a series of restrictions for resource allocation, without considering the presence of unmarked siphons in Process Oriented Petri net (POPN). Finally, a control strategy of deadlock avoidance is designed for ROPN, which is better than other control policy.

Abstract: Based on analysis of the mathematical model of the brushless DC motor (BLDCM), a method for modeling and simulation of BLDCM speed control system is developed in this paper. The simulation model of BLDCM could be established by combination of the functional blocks and S-functions in MATLAB/SIMULINK. In the double loop of control system, a PID controller was adopted in the speed loop and a current controller was completed in the current loop on the principle of hysteresis current track PWM inverter. The modeling method has merits in rapidity, practicality and has guiding significance to designing actual brushless DC motor control system.

Abstract: In order to overcome the problem that the single-Gauss model is poor of anti-interference and Gaussian Mixture model is poor of real-time, we present the double modeling algorithm of moving target detection. We use three frame difference method to distinguish the invariant region and complex region in background. And then we use single-Gauss modeling to model the invariant background while the complex region of background would be modeled with Gaussian Mixture modeling. It is more effective than the single-Gauss model and more efficient than the Gaussian Mixture model .The experimental results show that the improved algorithm is superior to the traditional single Gauss model or Gaussian Mixture model. It can detect moving target more quickly and accurately, with good robustness and real-time.
