Abstract: Ant System (AS) was the first Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm, which converged too slowly and consumed huge computation. Among the variants of AS, Ant Colony System (ACS) was one of the most successful algorithms. But ACS converged so rapidly that it always was in early stagnation. An improved Ant Colony System based on Negative Biased (NBACS) was introduced in the paper to overcome the early stagnation of the ACS. Experiments for Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) showed that better solutions were obtained at the same time when the convergence rate accelerated more rapidly.

Abstract: Abstract. Recently, more and more concrete structures are demolished and rebuild, and a large amount of demolished concretes are reused as materials for recycled aggregate concrete (RAC). It is very important to correctly describe time-dependent compressive strength of RAC before the design of corresponding RAC structures. In this paper, compressive strength tests of RAC with different curing times are conducted, and a new three-parameter mathematical model for time-strength curve is presented according to exponent function. Approaches to determine parameters of the proposed model are presented based on characterized points of tested time-strength curve. Finally, good agreements have been found between tested data and new model fittings. The result of this paper is helpful to the numerical analysis and practical engineering design of RAC structures.

Abstract: This paper described two kinds types of enterprise application integration based on coordinated decision centra:within the enterprise application and inter-enterprise enterprises application integration. To implement these two kinds of application system integration, the framework and the main functions of the integration platform for e-commerce environment was presented in the paper, the integration techniques by CORBA encapsulating within the enterprise and the data exchange techniques using XML between enterprises were proposed. With this supply chain application integration platform, the main business processes for supply chain management and other enterprise applications can be integrated selflessly through suitable procedures to apply supply chain integrative management in multiple enterprises.

Abstract: Research on architecture of ontology-based information semantic representation and Retrieval is done. As a case study, a prototype for agricultural policy-oriented ontology-based semantic information retrieval system (APOSIRS) is established. Ontology plays a role that providing a shared terminology and supporting for the retrieval process. The architecture allows APOSIRS-based applications to perform automatic semantic information Retrieval of agricultural policy text at more length: automatic and dynamic semantic annotation of unstructured and semi-structured content, semantically-enabled information extraction, indexing, retrieval, as well as ontology management, such as querying and modifying the underlying ontology and knowledge bases. Main components of this architecture have been implemented and their results are reported.

Abstract: The central idea of ontology engineering in semantic Web is extensive reuse of existing ontology. Ontology selection mechanism should offer support for modularization and automatic knowledge reuse. Because the chance of finding a completely covering ontology is extremely low, the present ontology selection mechanism frequently returns a collection of ontology that jointly cover the query vocabulary and the returned ontology should be extracted and combined. The efficiency of most existing ontology extraction algorithm and the decomposition algorithm is low when they try to get a suitable ontology module from a large ontology at run time. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposed a kind of ontology module selection method without the use of top ontology: Decomposes the big ontology into ontology modules in advance, inquires and chooses the corresponding ontology modules from the ontology module base in application stage, applies or composes the selected ontology modules in the next step. In this paper, relevant concepts and criterions of ontology modules selection are studied, including basic notions and conventions. Method of ontology module selection is described. Candidate ontology module identification and evaluation method are introduced; preliminary experimental results and the corresponding analysis are shown at the last section.

Abstract: With the development of analysis and identification way to nonlinear dynamic system, people uses many different method to build up mathematics model to simulate nonlinear dynamic system. This paper introduces some important nonlinear system identification ways and a kind of Volterra series expression type in detail. This kind of way adopts Hilbert reproducing kernel method to build up nonlinear dynamic system model. Hilbert space provides a kind of effective expression type for Fourier series and transfer based on anyorthogonal polynomial. Volterra series function has very strict theory basic, which can be applied into many nonlinear dynamic system analysis and identification filed, and has broad practicality and application prospect.

Abstract: Introduces the solution method of logarithmic spiral bevel gear contact area, based on the logarithmic spiral bevel gear model divides any tooth, acquiring coordinate values, and then on the basis of Hertz contact theory, combined with elliptic functions, we found the solution method of a logarithmic spiral bevel gear contact area, and make judgment and shearing on the border of the contact area, which lays the foundation of solving the location, size and shape of the contact area on logarithmic spiral bevel gear.

Abstract: In order to avoid blind searching before reducing the searching space of optimized variable and enhance searching efficiency in chaos optimization algorithm, a new mutative scale chaos optimization algorithm, Probability Chaos Optimization Algorithm (PCOA) was proposed. The current searching space is searched according to large probability and the origin space is searched according to small probability. Though the searching space is shrunk prematurely, the global optimal point can be found because the origin space is still searched according to small probability, which can overcome the shortcoming of losing the global optimal points owing to prematurely shrinking the searching space of the optimized variables in conventional mutative scale chaos optimization algorithm. The simulation results prove the validity of the algorithm.

Abstract: Workflow technology has emerged as one of those technologies designed to support modeling, designing and executing business processes. One of the major limitations of current workflow management systems is the lack of flexibility to support dynamic management of workflows. In this paper, we propose a dynamic workflow management model based on web services. We integrate web services and ontology technologies to support dynamic specifying, monitoring, analyzing, designing, configuring and executing workflows. We explain the need and functionality of the main modules and interfaces of the model, and introduce its application in a case study. An important feature of this model is to support for planning and adaptive workflow management.

Abstract: In this paper, a new RBF neural network (RBFNN) algorithm, called ar-RBFNN, is presented. In traditional RBFNNs based on clustering algorithm, called oRBFNN in this paper, the width of the basis function-Gaussian function, or called radius, ignored the effect of numbers in different clusters, or density of data points. New algorithm considers radius is effect to performance of algorithms in problem of function approximation. Mean Square Error is used to evaluate performances of two algorithms, oRBFNN and ar-RBFNN algorithms. Several experiments in function approximation show ar-RBFNN is better than oRBFNN.
