Abstract: A novel diameter measurement device by laser scanning of which a flat-crystal was used as the core scanning part was designed. The device can generate high parallel scanning beam by means of the property that a beam won’t change its propagation direction after transmitting a flat-crystal. The influences on measurement error and range by using flat-crystal were analyzed in details. Theoretical analysis showed that the method was easy to realize and achieve high precision.

Abstract: Image denoising for ink-jet printing material is an active research field in ink-jet printing material processing aiming at the removal of noise. In this paper, we present a novel denoising algorithm within the framework of Beltrami manifold and shape prior technology. Beltrami manifold is applied to enhance image features while preserving natural fine structures. The shape prior term for the deformable framework through a non-linear energy term is designed to attract a shape towards the Beltrami manifold at given directions. The visual and quantitative evaluation of experimental results has demonstrated the efficiency of the proposed algorithm for removing noise.

Abstract: The finite element analysis method of falling-object protective structure (FOPS) for the loader is presented in this paper. Taking FOPS for CL958 type loader as an example, this paper builds the analysis model in ANSYS, obtains the displacement of the load center and the maximum deformation of FOPS caused by the impact load and proves the safety by the drop test. It provides the theoretical basis and design principle for the optimization design and reliability design of FOPS for the loader.

Abstract: Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) combines the advantages of high performance and relatively low implementation complexity. However, for reliable coherent detection of the input signal, the OFDM receiver needs accurate channel information. The Doppler shift of fast-fading channels will generate inter-carrier interference (ICI) and, hence, degrade the performance of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. In this paper, we present regularized total least-squares (RTLS) scheme to eliminate the ICI and noise. A closed-form mathematical expression has been derived to express the channel estimation. It has been shown that the proposed channel estimation and data detect can effectively eliminate the ICI effect.

Abstract: In this paper, an effective relevance feedback (RF) approach is proposed in content-based image retrieval (CBIR). In the first stage, according to the user’s marked images, we get theirs predictive probabilities based-on Bayesian methodology which yields the posteriori of the images in the database; second via justify the weight of elements in each feature extracted of images, we refine features by logistic regression with positive features which get from the first stage. Then we rank the images according to the probability of the images in the database. The retrieval system is repeating until the user is satisfied with the feedback results or the target image has been found. Experimental results are shown to evaluate the method on a large image database in terms of precision and recall.

Employing Rapid Prototyping to Assist Free Fibular Flap Reconstructive Surgery of Mandibular Defects
Abstract: Patients suffering from mandible tumors often require a reconstructive surgery to repair the defects caused by large tumors. The particular type of reconstructive surgery studied in this paper is called free fibular flap reconstruction, which uses fibular segments to replace removed sections of the mandible and a titanium plate to provide strength. In order to decrease the dependence on design experience, decrease surgery time, and enhance the participation of surgeons in the design process, Rapid Prototyping (RP) biomedical models were employed to enable good visualization of the original and reconstructed geometry and for use as forming guides for the customized titanium plates. This study reports on one male and one female patients who underwent mandibular reconstruction. In one case, the operation time was reduced 2 hours and the other one was reduced 1.8 hours. The customized titanium plate shapes conformed to the patients’ mandible anatomy and were thick enough to provide the strength and stiffness needed to fix the mandible until the bone grafts and soft tissues heal.

Abstract: Green remanufacturing management, a sustainable management mode of development strategy, integrated the philosophy of green manufacturing and advanced manufacturing techniques, deeply implementing the reduction of resource consumption and environmental impact. It is the important link in the multi-lifecycle engineer of the products, which can effectively manage each link in the remanufacturing process of the products. In this paper, the connotation and characteristics of the green remanufacturing management were analyzed, and according to the current research situation of green remanufacturing management mode, the architecture including theoretical basis, content system and supporting techniques were proposed. On the basis of that, the key stage of the content structure: end-of-life management of recovery product, remanufacturing production management, performance assessment of remanufacturing product and reuse of remanufacturing product were expatiated in detail. In the end, the application strategy of the green remanufacturing management was discussed from the view of the sustainable development.

Abstract: To solve the problem of the delay, nonlinearity and time-varying properties of PMA-actuated knee-joint rehabilitation training device, a self-learning control method based on fuzzy neural network is proposed in this paper. A self-learning controller was designed based on the combination of pid controller, feedforward controller, fuzzy neural network controller, and learning mechanism. It was applied to the isokinetic continuous passive motion control of the PMA-actuated knee-joint rehabilitation training device. The experiments proved that the self-learning controller has the properties of high control accuracy and unti-disturbance capability, comparing with pid controller. This control method provides the beneficial reference for improving the control performance of such system.

Abstract: This paper proposes an effective way for forecast malfunction risk criterion for discrete event systems (DESs). This work is based on the probabilistic Automata (PA) model and risk decision-making technique, thanks to decision-making can be for the uncertainty. It provides logistical unite maintenance materials procurement to decision-making, reduces costs and creates supply chain greater profits.

Abstract: This paper discussed the optimal control problem on dynamic continuous systems. A two-level optimal control algorithm is proposed. It first converts the original problem into the parameters optimal control problem, and then, the optimal control to the original problem is selected from the set of solutions of parameters optimal control. Theoretical base of the algorithm is established. Simulation results show that the algorithm is effective.
