Abstract: The motion precision of the translation stage in high-resolution Stereolithography System is the basic for RP system to fabricate object with high dimension accuracy. The motion precision of the translation stage in high-resolution Stereolithography System was investigated and estimated, and the experiments results indicate that the unidirectional accuracy of positioning in Z direction is 6.4µm, and the unidirectional repeatability of positioning of the translation stage in Z direction is 6.4µm. The motion precision of the translation stage can satisfy the requirements of high-resolution SL system. The phenomena that the unidirectional positioning system error and the unidirectional repeatability positioning accuracy have distinct difference was researched, and it is fund that different load status of the translation stage is the main reason during the translation stage moving up and down.

Abstract: Asphalt pavement can be used in solar energy harnessing, by means of solar collector developed in heating and cooling the adjacent buildings, as well as keeping the pavement ice-free directly. In the light of the actual situation of preparation and formation of a larger asphalt concrete slab, an experimental method and evaluation system for asphalt pavement snow melting was designed and constructed. The feasibility of snow melting using asphalt solar collector was verified, and the effect of the heat exchanger on the temperature distribution was quantitatively tested The results indicated that although the entire snowmelt time is longer than expected, it is acceptable for us to use asphalt solar collector for snow melting, especially, low temperature water about 25°C is used for snow melting. Besides, the melting process of ice and snow generally includes three phases: the starting period, the linear period and the accelerated period. The snow melting system is controlled to maintain the asphalt pavement surface temperature of 3 to 5°C which is sufficient to prevent freezing of the road.

Abstract: This paper describes the transition of a recently invented force-generation method to mobile nanohandling robots and outlines future applications. The presented mobile nanohandling robot makes use of miniaturized, piezo-driven Stick-Slip actuators. This allows for very accurate and fast positioning. The drives are fully developed and have proven their performance in fast pickand- place applications. On the other hand, the mentioned force-generation method allows a Stick- Slip axis to exert a dedicated force to any object, which could be useful in many micro- and nanohandling scenarios. However, the method was tested yet only in a testbed similar to the conditions in the robot. Therefore this paper deals with the extrapolation of the results to the real conditions in the robots and discusses benefits and drawbacks. After an introduction of the robot and the force-generation method, measurements are presented and discussed. The paper ends with a sketch of a possible application, which could boost the application potential not only of such mobile robots, but of Stick-Slip-based setups in general.

Abstract: In view of the irrationality that traditional virtual potential field algorithms brought about on the criterion for the generation of virtual force in directional sensor networks, we propose a novel criterion for judgment. Cross-set test is used to determine whether the sensory region has any overlap, thereby restrain the energy cost of nodes and the performance of the algorithm is improved. In simulation experiment, the validity of the novel criterion and IAPD (improved algorithm of virtual potential field in directional sensor networks) are verified by the compare of IAPD and traditional virtual field algorithms.

Abstract: The structural characteristics of zeolite 4A make it to be the potential warm mix asphalt additive. Zeolite 4A containing crystal water can be synthesized with fly ash (FA) by fusion with sodium hydroxide prior to hydrothermal reaction. The influence of some factors on the water loss of synthesized zeolite 4A was investigated. The results indicate that the best technological conditions of synthesizing zeolite 4A containing crystal water with fly ash are as follows: the molar ratio of SiO2/A12O3 is 1.9; the molar ratio of Na2O/SiO2 is 2.0; the molar ratio of H2O/Na2O is 50; under the aging temperature of 65°C, the optimum aging time is 3 h; under the crystallization temperature of 90°C, the optimum crystallization time is 4 h.

Abstract: Core competence can keep the business competitive and growing well. Based on former research on core competence, the paper formulates core competence evaluation index from technological innovation, marketing, organization and management, and corporate culture; it judges whether the evaluation index is appropriate, and calculates the weight of the index by matrix. The paper makes fuzzy comprehensive evaluation with MATLAB through survey on the motor manufacturer and membership function of the core competence index. The paper is useful for its research on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on the core competence, so that the small-and-medium-sized motor manufacturers know how to build core competence.

Abstract: Three-bending test has been performed on the standard specimen and welding specimen with defect of low-alloy and high-strength steel in order to simulate the failure process of structural parts under loading, and the AE activities (number of hits) and stress-strain curve were measured during the whole loading process. The law of acoustic emission signals at different deformation stages has been investigated and the relation between AE characteristic parameters and the different deformation stages has been established. The typical AE waveforms such as friction noise, plastic deformation, welding microcrack initiation and propagation are obtained, which are analyzed by using spectrum characteristics analytical method. The spectrum characteristic parameters such as average frequency, peak frequency and frequency centroid, energy percentage of frequency spectrum part I and III of the typical AE defect signals are extracted, the distributing range of which are initially set. Study shows these five parameters have a closely relation with the nature of the AE signals, and based on these characteristics parameters different AE sources can be preliminary identified correctly. The study can provide some guidance to the practical application of AE acoustic emission technology in the industrial field.

Abstract: The development of the Internet of Things (IoT) is on the basis of the secure information transmission, and the same is true for the numerical control system (NC system) based on the IoT (IoT-NC system). If the information is stolen in the process of transmission, the IoT-NC system will not be practical. Compared with the IPSec, the IDSec proposed by this paper is independent with other protocols, which is conducive to further expansion and compatibility, and it could better solve the compatibility problem of the IPSec with the NAT. From the view of transfer process, the IDSec removes the cumbersome process of add and removal IP and TCP header in the IPSec, which will reduce the amount of processing time and transmit data. In the meantime, the IDSec also retains many advantages of the IPSec, such as integrity authentication, origin and destination address authentication, anti-monitoring service, anti-replay service and so on. So, the IDSec is more suitable than the IPSec for the secure information transmission in the IoT.

Abstract: The increasing threats and opportunities, on the global markets, challenge today the company at several levels. The actual Manufacturing Systems becomes dramatic for the survival and prosperity of the organization. Agility, Sustainability and high rate of Re-usability are the main objectives of an “Evolvable Production System”. Task-specific and process-oriented modules with embedded intelligence, together with distributed control based on agent technology are the cornerstones of an EPS. The realization and management of this kind of systems entail an ontological approach due to their implicit complexity. The reference architecture is the key to canalize the underlying holism of an EPS towards an effective instantiation, which exploits the “Emergent Behavior”, the key driver of the Evolvability of a system. The issues related with the application of this view, such as dynamic link between product and system design as well as the management of a module repository, underline the weakness of present business models. Therefore a model for the emplacement of a System that follows the “Evolvable Paradigm” predicament has been produced in order to enable further studies. One of the conclusions of the work is the need for a more suitable approach to business by the main actors involved in the realization of an EPS. Sharing information and standards about product design and modules realization becomes a compulsory strategic choice.
