Abstract: In order to study the internal gas flow of Y type branch pipes in the exhaust ventilation conditions, the branch pipe is simulated by using FLUENT software. Combined with experimental results, comparatively analyze exhaust ventilation pressure, velocity and vortex flow of the branch pipe. The results show that simulation and experimental data consistent overall trend, the difference is less than 8%, the main entrance pressure of the branch pipeline decreases with the width of the leakage increasing, leakage width of 0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm cases, there is vortex tube, and valve and the main ventilation pipe case gas exchange occurs when no leakage, this study provides a theoretical and practical basis for further analysis of branch pipe exhaust ventilation.

Abstract: The heavy-load manipulator arm, an important part of the remote handling maintenance system of the large-scale multi-purpose deployer, plays a key role of the entire system. Its modeling and assembly was finished by Pro/E. Then use the ANSYS Workbench, finite element analysis software, to complete its static analysis and modal analysis through building a seamless connection between Pro/E and ANSYS Workbench. As a result, the overall deformation and static stiffness values of the manipulator arm were obtained through static analysis, and the former six-order natural frequency values and mode shapes were obtained through modal analysis. Finally, scheme of structure modification and new control method were presented by analyzing and comparing the results.

Abstract: For the low power factor and poor control accuracy of the conventional vehicle chargers, this paper designed a current-mode switching power supply which was improved by adding a boost-mode APFC circuit. This system was tested and simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and the results showed that it could effectively reduce the harmonics, improve the power factor and control precision.

Abstract: In this paper, we built a localized regression model to estimate the miles per gallon (MPG) characteristic for equipment engines based on a serious physical features of this engine. First, we statistically viewed these parameters to build up a basic understanding of the data we collected. Then, with the belief that engines with similar characteristics will perform similarly, we proposed a novel localized model with a novel optimal function based EM algorithm and a novel self-adjusted optimal clustering algorithm to estimate MPG based on the other fully studied engines with similar physical features.

Abstract: This paper is to use a fast and useful simulation method to verify the acoustics performance of the exhaust muffler which was designed, and find a better muffler. Based on analyzing the spectral of diesel engine exhaust noise and the muffler theory, and designed two different type of muffler. Got the transmission loss of muffler by using software. Finally, compared the two projects’ transmission loss and got the better effect.

Abstract: Based on the surface of the envelope principle and the digital conjugate surface theory, The taper logarithm helical gear meshing theory further perfect. According to the mathematical model of logarithmic spiral bevel gear tooth surface meshing, using MATLAB powerful scientific analysis and calculation visual features and functions for the conjugate tooth surface equation to get the enveloping surface discrete conjugate points and draw out the conjugate tooth surface. Again through the optimization of surface get rid of the noise, end up with conjugate tooth surface precision, and can B spline fitting. Said for further analysis of spiral bevel gear drive are very valuable.

Abstract: It studies the influence of linear speed of grinding wheel and rotational speed of workpiece to complex rotator surface roughness. Using self-designed NC quick-point grinding machine do the grinding test at different linear speeds of grinding wheel and different rotational speeds of workpiece, gained the relationship curve between the linear speed of grinding wheel, rotational speed of workpiece and complex rotator surface roughness. The test results show that using quick-point grinding technology can grind multiple external cylindrical and cone-shaped surfaces by only one time fixing, it can get 0.025um surface roughness in a reasonable condition of the grinding parameters. During point grinding process, higher wheel speed gets better surface roughness, higher workpiece shaft speed gets worse surface roughness.

Abstract: Venturi scrubber is a high-efficiency wet dust collector, and has a high capture efficiency for small solid particles. Applied to metal mines, the venturi scrubber not only eliminate the mine dust in the processes of mining and driving, but also can capture the diesel exhaust particles effectively in theory. Then the air in the mine has been purified and the staff can keep away from the harm of mine dust and diesel exhaust particles. Based on the results of this research from the predecessor, the paper design a reasonable set of pilot programs for mine workers.

Abstract: Calculate the minimum turning radius of articulated material-carrier in theory, and establish a full-vehicle model for motion simulation to obtain the minimum turning radius with the application of virtual prototype software ADAMS, then compare the theoretical value with simulation value. Analyze the relationship between the position of articulated point in the material-carrier and the minimum turning radius.
