Abstract: With the increasingly widespread attention on the construction of urban rail transit in big cities, it has aroused general concern about the normative and elaborative design of rail transit stations. Which becomes focal point of the research of urban rail transit is how to design effective and beautiful rail transit stations with legible and reasonable streamline organization. This paper focuses on the instance analysis on the design of foreign and domestic stations with multiple lines of urban rail transit at first. After the rail transit lines are classified into parallel and intersectant lines, the applicability and functional characters of urban rail transit transfer modes are summarized and concluded particularly with the line location modes, which is expected to provide references for the design of urban rail transit stations in China.

Abstract: The Northern Sea Route is the shortest route between the ports of Northern Europe and Asia. In the summer time the route is open for navigation for about 3-4 months and could be a preferable alternative in comparison with the southern route through the Suez Canal. Paper provides a current conditions overview of The Northern Sea Route, potential opportunities seem to be profitable and perspective for a worldwide shipping.

Abstract: The short-time dwell time of BRT is hard to predict. Considering impacts of complex traffic environment, we can predict the value more effectively by using a new hybrid method, which is mixed with ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Model), predicting the self-relevant linear part and SVM, predicting residual nonlinear part, than the single ARIMA model and SVM model. The dwell times of BRT line1in Chang Zhou have proved this thesis.

Abstract: in the traditional prediction system of integrated transport, various modes of transport are predicted individually, thus they are independent of the integrated transport system due to the lack of connection, so the prediction results are relatively large. Therefore, this paper proposes the two-stage prediction method based on the integrated transport OD survey, including the prediction of the integrated transport OD matrix generation of the status quo and the distribution of integrated transport demand. Then it utilizes the GISDK development tools to develop a prediction system for the integrated transport demand in the TransCAD platform.

Abstract: Based on SP survey, this study researched on the driver's personal property, travel attribute and VMS (Variable Message Signs) attribute. On this basis, combining with the traffic survey data, the multinomial Logit models were used to reflect the route choice behavior. The data were analyzed by Matlab software, then to compare the effect of VMS under different traffic conditions, and proved the rationality of the model. The results of SP survey show that the main factors that affect drivers' route choice are familiarity of road network, accuracy of VMS and attention to VMS. The calculations of Multinomial Logit model demonstrate that the effect of VMS is more obvious during peak period, and it’s more effective under traffic accident conditions. Combining qualitative and quantitative analysis, it provides suggestions for the widely application of the VMS in Changsha city.

Abstract: China has a "North coal to south, West coal to east" overall pattern of coal transportation. This paper focuses on how to optimize the distribution of supply and demand, which can effectively reduce the total transportation costs. In order to study the optimization problem, we build a linear programming model, and solve it through commonly used mathematical programming software CPLEX. Then, taking Shanxi as an example, the proposed model was verified. By introducing supply point capacity limits, make our model more adaptable to the actual situation.

Abstract: This article generalizes the current condition of the MTR, introducing the “rail transit plus comprehensive land use” mode in detail. By analyzing this mode applied in Hong Kong, three feasible factors to the success of this mode in Hong Kong are found. According to the annual report of MTR, this mode brings great profit to MTR and has become the learning example to the rest of the world. In China, Shenzhen Metro Group co., Ltd, Hangzhou Metro Group co., Ltd and Beijing Subway are now learning this mode to alleviate the financial burden of government as well as to enlarging the metro by using their profit. In order to realize win-win situation, several suggestions should be put forward.

Abstract: In order to reduce ship-bridge collision during the construction period of bridges across river and ensure the safety of bridge construction, the cooperative safety control model and synchronic control system in the process of bridge construction is presented by using synergetic theory. The information coordination is achieved by dynamic interaction, while the organization coordination is achieved by dynamic overall arrangement and the resources collaboration is achieved by security network, so as to realize coordination control of construction safety and ship’s navigation safety in bridge construction process. Cooperated with active defense security measures, this technique tends to implement ship-bridge collision safety control during construction period.

Abstract: Under the background of rapid urbanization development in our country, public transportation tends to the development of high speed and comprehensive type. It becomes a major issue how to build the people's satisfaction public transportation. More and more cities pay more attention to the performance evaluation of the traffic system. The paper draws the balanced scorecard strategy map of the public traffic and establishes the index evaluation system based on 4E from citizen dimension, finance dimension, internal operation and safety dimension, learning and growth dimension. Then information entropy theory and AHP are adopted to calculate the weight of each index.

Abstract: Low altitude wind shear badly threatens aircrafts’ flight safety. Since flight states change rapidly during flying through wind shear, it is deficient to design an optimization controller by off-line analyse. A ring-vortex microburst wind shear model and B747 aircraft flight dynamics model were built. For glide slope tracking under wind shear, an off-line controller was designed by linear quadratic method. Furthermore, a model predictive controller with sequential optimization was designed. Simulation results show the on-line sequential optimization controller possess better tracking performance.
