Abstract: With the centrally pulling-out test, the bond strength of reinforced concrete is measured with different temperatures and different cooling ways after high temperature; and the ultimate bond strength and slip of reinforced and concrete under different conditions are analyzed. The results show that the bonding strength declines gradually with the increase of temperature, and the ultimate slippage also decreases gradually.

Abstract: The modified asphalt binders with various anti-ageing additives, including ultraviolet (UV) absorber, antioxidant and combination of them, were prepared, and the effects of UV absorber contents, antioxidant contents and combination of UV absorber and antioxidant on physical properties and ageing characteristics of the asphalt binder were investigated. Results show that the ductility of asphalt binder increases whereas the softening point and viscosity decrease with addition of anti-ageing additives. UV absorbers and antioxidants exhibit different influences on the ageing properties of asphalt binder. The thermal- and photo-oxidative ageing performance of asphalt binder can be simultaneously improved by the compound modification with UV absorber and antioxidant. The combination of UV326 and antioxidant 1010 shows synergistic effect in preventing the asphalt binder from thermal- and photo-oxidative ageing, which contributes to excellent ageing resistance of modified asphalt binder.

Abstract: Effects of different viscosity rejuvenators on performance of recycled hot mix asphalt (RHMA) mixture were investigated by testing of water stability, fatigue property and rutting resistance. The results indicate that rejuvenator with low viscosity shows more significant influence on the enhancement of fatigue property at high stress ratio and water stability of RHMA mixture than rejuvenator with high viscosity due to its better diffusion ability into aged bitumen. The water stability and fatigue property of RHMA mixture with 15 wt% low viscosity rejuvenator can be close to virgin hot mix asphalt mixture. Compared with rejuvenators of medium and high viscosity, the rutting resistance of RHMA mixture is reduced more obviously by rejuvenator with low viscosity, but still meets the application requirements of RHMA mixture.

Abstract: In order to construct a constitutive model taking into the effect of both the fabric tensors and their evolution modes, this paper links modern ideas of thermomechanics opinion to the theory of fabric tensors. The anisotropic dissipation incremental function of modified Cam-clay constitutive model considering the effect of fabric characteristic can be obtained by establishing the relation between microstructure and plastic volume strain. After discussing the yield surfaces in the dissipative and the true stress space from the viewpoint of the evolution mode of the fabric tensors, the results indicate that the slope of the normal consolidation line and the critical state line will be governed by changes of void fabric. The model successfully captures most salient behaviors of granular materials related to fabric issues. In the dissipative stress space, the void of granular materials can rearrange and show more anisotropic. In the true stress space, fabric not only affects the deflection of the yield surface, but also affects the hardening rule.

Abstract: The durability research on the filter media is of great significance. It is necessary to establish a laboratory test method on it in practical use. A new testing method is provided for filter media durability under corrosive gas condition in the paper. PPS is selected as standard testing sample and it is tested in NO gas. Under 1000ppmNO and 200°C condition, both warp strength and weft strength of PPS increase at the beginning and then gradually decrease with duration. The weft change for both strength and elongation is higher than the warp.

Abstract: Extensive experimental research has been done on rate-dependent properties normal concrete, but very little on the tensile properties of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC). In this article, based on a high-speed Instron servo-controlled hydraulic materials test machine is adopted to investigate the strain rate-dependent properties of bending tensile properties for SFRC. The scheme of experiment, the works of specimens fabricating and the processes of both loading and measuring were introduced. A total of 30 beam specimens are tested. The steel fiber content is varied: 0%, 1.0%, 2.0%, 3.0% and 4.0% by volume. The experimental results were analyzed. The emphasis is put on the study of the flexural strength changes of SFRC under different strain rates. It is discovered that, with the improvement of the strain rate, increasing strength of SFRC is very obvious. While the strain rate increases from 1.4×10-4s-1 to 0.53×10-4s-1, the flexural strength increasing around 30%.

Abstract: Based on shearing test, bending test in low temperature, fatigue test and dynamic modulus test, the text researched the effect on the property of the semi-flexible pavement by a kind of interfacial modifier. The study showed the feasible content of interfacial modifier was 0.4~0.6% . Used 0.4%, the shear strength reached 1.83MPa, flexural strength 6.97MPa, and fatigue-life was over 40000 at 0.2 stress ratio. From interfacial modification, the synthesis property of semi-flexible pavement was especially perfect.

Abstract: This paper aims to investigate the effects of different VG (voltage gradient) on electrokinetic removal technology, and examine electrode pH, electric conductivity, voltage drop in the sample, electric current, and the electroosmotic flow. It is indicated that with the increase of VG, the electrolytic reaction rate accelerates during the electric removal experiment, which has affected both system current and the pH value & electric conductivity of electrolyte solutions. The higher VG is, the faster the electrolyte solution pH varies;the higher VG is, the faster the electric conductivity changes. Meanwhile the magnitude of electroosmotic flow increases with the increase of the VG.

Abstract: This paper firstly analyzes the relationship between materials and product design, then discusses the “materiality” and “immateriality” in product design and put forward the concept of “immateriality” of materials, and then studies them. As a result it is put forward that immaterial characters of materials have important effect on the material selection in product design.
