Abstract: In this paper, an algorithm is proposed to determine the optimal work location to minimize the sum of the joint angle. The algorithm use the sum of the three joint angle as the objective function, through analysis of workable domain, coordinates transformation, globe search, to get the optimal work position of the manipulator. Simulation shows that the proposed algorithm works well for stipulated aim.

Abstract: Steering rubber buffer seat of loader is one of important methods to enhance the operating comfort of machine. This article detailed identified the design variables, constraint functions and the objective function of the rubber buffer seat's optimal design model. It combined with project experience and based on the analysis of rubber buffer seat's bearing features in the right, and established the correct mathematical model of optimal design in theory. Then, based on ANSYS software's optimized design module "Design Opt", completed set of all calculated parameters by the operations of alternate interface, thus created a rubber buffer seat's finite element model of optimization calculation. Optimized iterative calculations later, got the result of the final optimized design. After the optimized design, rubber buffer seat has been used in the market volume, it's very useful, so this design method is proved correct and reasonable.

Abstract: Distortions are inevitable when flattening is applied to an irregular surface. This study presents a meshing energy model and evaluates the energy variation between the 3D designed surface and the 2D flattened pattern in order to minimize the energy that arises from the development process. Base on expert knowledge, constraint optimization methods are used to find the unique pattern in its minimum deformation. This method is applied via simulation to some garment examples. Taking design and manufacturing conditions into consideration, the designed garments are flattened into patterns which have the least energy and area variation from the 3D designs.

Abstract: The selection of naval ship principal dimensions based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm was presented. Firstly, at the foundation of single-scheme decision making method using weighted distance to ensure the consistency, a new multiple-scheme group decision making method was proposed. Secondly, experts’ opinions were judged and adjusted by PSO, in order to keep the initial preference of the individual. Thirdly, the new method is introduced to group decision making of naval ship principal dimensions. Through determining the attributes and their weights, a series of schemes are generated by uniform design, then numbers of experts were invited to make a rational evaluation for deriving the final result, its consistency is better than the one derived without restriction of weighted distance. This new decision making method offers an effective and efficient way to determine the naval ship principal dimensions with high reality and reliability.

Abstract: A semi-automated general arrangement technique of naval ship is discussed, it approached by a series of two essentially two-dimensional problems: the allocation of spaces to Zone-decks (one deck within one vertical zone), after that, implement the detailed arrangement of spaces to each Zone-deck. In this context, fuzzy modeling is introduced for evaluating environmental loadings (noise, vibration and ship motion) and Naval Equipment Standards, and then these measures are translated to fuzzy utility values which express the satisfaction location of each group spaces. The fuzzy location preference values are combined with Zone-deck utilization utility to establish the objective function using fuzzy product inference. Lastly, the particle swarm optimization (PSO) is performed on the objective function to acquire the allocation plan of spaces in each Zone-deck.

Abstract: Spark energy is one of the most important parameters for SI engine, so it need be controlled effectively. Two modes of spark energy measurement were introduced in this paper: simulation load and direction measurement. 4 kinds of simulation load can be found: spherical discharger, three-pole discharger, Zener discharger and Zener string discharger, each has its own character. Zener string was chosen for it suited to electronic-controlled automotive engine. 2 kinds of direction measurement were introduced: attemperator, voltage and current sensor, the later was adopted for it can be realized easily and its precision characteristic. The test results show that the spark energy can be measured quantitatively and effectively in both modes; and the calculated spark energy of simulation load is larger than direction measurement for its less loss at the ignition circuit.

Abstract: The present defects of the teaching practice in training centers of engineering in the local engineering colleges and universities are introduced. The construction of ideas, teaching methods and means of reform of engineering training teaching system should be along with the needs of the global economy competition. How to play the full role of the training center of engineering for cultivating the capacity-building of engineering students is a hot topic. The training center of engineering of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Anhui Institute of Architecture and Industry was taken as an example to illustrate the teaching practice and explore the teaching reform methods and the countermeasures.

Abstract: Draglines equipment selection optimization involves many factors. Manual simulation has many shortcomings,such as lower calculation accuracy, less programs, long design cycle, so it is hard to make a optimization program. Equipment Selection Optimization System of Draglines (ESOSD) is designed and developed according to the deposit occurrence of opencast coalmines in China. Visual Basic 6.0 is used as programming language, Access 2003 as Background database and the software such as Microsoft Excel 2003 and Autodesk AutoCAD 2004 are integrated in the ESOSD. Three mining schemes of SL opencast coalmine that put forward by SY Design and Research Institute were optimized by using ESOSD. The results show that scheme Ⅱ is better than the other two schemes, which is recommended as the draglines stripping scheme. The main parameters of scheme Ⅱ are as follows: stripping bench height is 45 meters; stripping bench width is 60 meters; throwing blast is adopted; stripping bench is 16 meters lowered by two D10R580HP dozers; dragline model is 1570WS, which boom length is 91.7 meters and bucket capacity is 72.7 cubic meters, and annual overburden amount is 17.2 Million cubic meters. By comprehensive comparison the optimization results with that of SY Design and Research Institute, The total cost reduces 7.512 Million Yuan (RMB) than that of the institute, bucket capacity of dragline reduces 10.7 cubic meters, and boom length reduces 14.3 meters. The optimization results show that ESOSD is reliable and practical, and it can be used as a decision support system for draglines equipment selection optimization.

Abstract: This paper first proposes new multi-objective optimization method based on WSLS (Win-Stay-Lose-Shift) evolutionary game model and all game players automatically adjust behavior mode according to evolution rules of WSLS game model, which improves the game method for solving multi-objective optimization problems. Besides, this paper presents solution of WSLS evolutionary game model including evolution rules, behavior mode of game players and solution steps. Finally, the effectiveness of this method is verified by solving three goals optimization problems in mechanism design.

Abstract: In the paper, by means of the method of directly measuring the discharge voltage and discharge current of ignition coil, the match between hydrogen internal combustion engine (HICE) and ignition coil is studied, and the experimental research of ignition coils’ charging and discharging characteristics is carried out which leads that more accurate discharge energy is obtained. The experimental results show that the ignition coil here meets the need of the ignition of HICE; the energy corresponding to the pulse width of 5ms is the maximum one the primary coil can store; with pulse width constant the oscillation of the voltage leads to different discharge durations; the larger the charge pulse width is, the lower the utilization of coils is.
