Abstract: Most photovoltaic (PV) systems can supply continuous energy by using storage applications. Generally, the battery is employed for finishing this aim. The expense of the battery occupies a large part in the whole PV system. However, the constant variations of both photovoltaic panel power product and load power demand reduce the life of the battery. At the same time, for providing several large burst power demands generated by the motor based application startup, the sizing of battery should be enlarged. Both of them increase the cost of the PV system. Therefore, supercapacitor is integrated into this system. With a reasonable energy control strategy among the PV panel, supercapacitor and battery, the battery’s life could be prolonged and its size can be reduced. A PV system with hybrid storage applications is established in the Matlab/Simulink. Two different loads and weather situations are used to prove the efficiency of this control strategy.

Abstract: To solve the current problems of monotonous forms in solar charging and various electrical equipment recharging, an intelligent and multi-functional solar energy charging system was designed, which can charge electric bicycles as well as various digital products. This system also can store electrical energy for LED for night use.

Abstract: In the process of axial piston pump working, centrifugal moment causes slipper bearing to tilt and wedge oil film could be formed between the slipper and swashplate. The film shape corresponds with its pressure field. By force equilibrium analysis, the calculation of film shape can be simplified as a single objective optimization problem with two decision variables, which uses the normal force balance and the flow equilibrium as equality constraints and treats the slipper tilt angle and the azimuth angle as inequality constraints. The Niche Genetic Algorithm was applied to solve this problem. The results showed that using this method the optimum solution can be gained and the convergence speed is relatively fast. A precision 3-D film shapes can be obtained, which can afford new reference to the design of the slipper bearing.

Abstract: A growing demand for lightweight products has been brought about by the rapid development of new automobiles in order to reduce fuel consumption. One of the keys to reduced fuel consumption is to utilize high-strength, light materials like stainless-steel that are difficult to form due to their strength. This paper discusses the development of pressing technology that forms a relatively high-strength stainless-steel tube with surface screw threads. Our new press-forming process was tested to obtain accurate screw threads on stainless-steel tubes. A 3-D digitizer was used to measure the accuracy of tubes manufactured by the proposed pressing method. The proposed press-forming method decreases tube thickness more effectively than conventional roll-forming technology. The maximum decrease in material thickness produced by conventional roll forming was 40%, but the maximum decrease in material thickness produced by our press-forming process was 20%. Stress and strain were clarified by using a finite-element simulation to expand the effectiveness of the new press-forming technology.

Abstract: The paper explains an auto-read photoelectric autocollimator based on DSP and area array imaging sensors. The working principles, hardware and software of the design is interpreted. This equipment is able to conduct precise two-dimensional measurement. The embedded core Blackfin DSP BF549 is used in the device to acquire consecutive video, help store them and process the image datas. TFT screen is adopted to display the processed video results at real time. Auto-read tracking algorithm is a combined method of image interframe difference and background difference. Thus the moving target is detected in the static background. Then according to the position of the moving measuring mark calculate the angular displacement.

Abstract: The mounting eccentric error is one of the largest error sources for circular grating angle sensors (CGASs). To improve the measuring accuracy of CGASs, one error compensation method based on mounting eccentricity is proposed in this paper. The mounting eccentricity and measuring error of CGASs was modeled after analysis. Six joints mounted with CGASs were used in the eccentric error compensation experiment. The rotation error of the joints was calibrated with a coordinate measuring machine and a gauge block. Then with the calibration data, the parameters of the eccentric error compensation model were calculated. The experimental result shows that after error compensation the rotation angle errors of the joints are reduced about 58 to 543 times.

Abstract: Blasting vibration damage is a major factor in mine safety. Millisecond blasting is an effective means to reduce blasting vibration damage. Taking field test method to study high slope deformation in open pit mines a little bit difference of each quick-fried bore blows up’s blasting vibration damage. Research found that, taking a little bit difference of each quick-fried bore blows up, Slope’s vibration velocity is 0.6cm/s, Compared to initiation by row’s theoretical value reduced by 58.33% , a little bit difference of each quick-fried bore blows up is an effective means to reduce blasting vibration damage, it is great significance for improving the slope stability.

Abstract: The paper analyzes the failure mechanism of the wet shifting clutch, and puts forward the concept that the deformation of the clutch friction plate leads to the irregular collision between the driving and driven sides of disengaged clutch and accordingly forms the transient pulse signal; the short-time Fourier analysis on the vibration signals of failed clutch obtained via test proves such concept. The transient pulse signal in the relatively strong background signal is clearly extracted through the wavelet decomposition after zero setting, and an efficient wet shifting clutch fault diagnosis method is hereby formed.

Abstract: Basic physical properties of solutions with high precision are highly needed. The conventional devices can’t meet this demand. However, the magnetic suspension balance (MSB) could solve this problem. This paper summarizes the applications of MSB on the basic physical properties such as density, solubility, diffusion coefficient, adsorption, mass transfer, interfacial tension, specific volume, and so on. There is also a brief introduction about the measurement on fluid viscosity by the MSB after renovation.

Abstract: A method for detecting pipeline’s deformation is presented in this paper, based on distributed fiber optic strain sensor. We simplify the pipeline and analysis it as a beam. According to beam’s geometrical relational expression, pipeline’s deflection could be calculated by using discrete strain with numerical method.
