Abstract: By integrating cellular automaton (CA) theory into topology optimization of continuum, the local rule is defined for sensitivity analysis and updating of the design variable, according to the analysis of the structural mechanical response. Topology optimization design of loaded structure is conducted using minimal compliance as the optimization objective. The optimal distribution of material in the design domain is finally obtained. Comparing to other algorithms, the local rule has proved to be computationally efficient to solve structural topology optimization problems. The resulting optimal structures are free of numerical instabilities such as the checkerboard patterns and mesh dependency.

Abstract: MOST bus protocol is a high speed multimedia transmission protocol which applies to the in-vehicle entertainment system to solve wiring difficulty, EMI and so on. However, with the increasing number and complexity of the in-vehicle entertainment devices, the energy consumption of system grows continuously. In the paper, a kind of the centralized power management based on the MOST networks is designed. The PowerMaster function in the MOST Master node can control and change the status of every device node by monitoring the running situation of the whole MOST networks. At last, the experiment indicates that the PowerMaster can manage the power supply of the MOST networks effectively. Under the control of the PowerMaster, the system energy cost is lower than before.

Abstract: Wireless power transfer (WPT) is required for the diffusion of Electric Vehicle (EV) because it makes possible the process of automatically charging EV. Magnetic resonance coupling is a new technology for WPT, which can transfer a large amount of energy with high efficiency in middle distance. In this paper the topology design of WPT for EV by using this technology is investigated. Through theoretical analysis we obtain expressions of optimal efficiency with different topologies based on equivalent circuits and define a condition criterion, which is related with load resistance, transmission distance, resonance frequency and coil size. According to the condition criterion we can design the appropriate topology easily to guarantee optimal transmission efficiency. Finally, simulations and experiments show that the defined condition criterion has high sensitivity and the proposed method of designing topology is effective and feasible.

Abstract: The principle of NC incremental sheet metal forming as well as the process planning, experiment of the square conical box forming are presented. Because the deformation of sheet metal only occurs around the tool head and the deformed region is subjected to stretch deformation and thins, and surface area increases. Sheet metal forming stepwise is to lead to the whole sheet metal deformation. The sine law indicates that the thickness of the square conical box wall is close to zero when the half-apex angle of the square conical box wall is close to zero. Therefore, we must know the forming limit half-apex angle to ensure that the forming can be carried out successfully, i.e., to ensure that the deformed region with a certain thickness will not fracture. It will succeed in square conical box incremental forming in a single tool-path if the forming is carried out with an angle which is larger than the forming limit half-apex angle. The fracture in the forming component can be avoided by these methods. A square conical box of uniform wall-thickness can be formed by NC incremental forming process. The thickness of deformation area is increased by increasing half-apex angle. The wrinkle in the forming component can be avoided by these methods.

Abstract: Ant Colony Algorithm is a new bionics optimization algorithm from mimic the swarm intelligence of ant colony behavior. And it is a very good combination optimization method. To extend the ant colony algorithm, and to improve the searching performance, from the connections of continuous optimization and searching process of ant colony algorithm, one new Continuous Ant Colony Algorithm is proposed. To verify the new algorithm, the typical functions, such as Schaffer function and “Needle-in-a-haystack” function, are all used. And then, the results of new algorithm are compared with that of immunized evolutionary programming proposed by author.

Abstract: The corrosion of LY12CZ aluminum alloy in aircraft under service environment is regarded as a stochastic process and the time series theory is used to analyze and to predict the corrosion depth of LY12CZ under airport environment by means of ARIMA(3,1,1)model.The application result show that the ARIMAmodel can predict the value and propagation trend of corrosion depth realistically and effectively,demonstrating the expedient and easy application of time series theory and method.

Abstract: In this paper, an simulation program of power performance and fuel economy of large commercial vehicle for passenger transportation is programmed, and high credibility of the program is validated by experiment verification. Comprehensive fuel consumption is firstly introduced as the objective function, joint optimization of powertrain parameters is performed by using multi-disciplinary optimization platform Optimus and MATLAB. The result shows optimization efficiency is greatly improved and the outcome has great satisfaction.

Abstract: The principal dimensions of naval ships regression analysis via trained BP network by improved PSO is proposed in this paper. Firstly, learning factor is adjusted dynamically, and the improved PSO is implanted in the BP network. Then improved PSO-BP is imported when establishing the regression model of ships’ principal dimensions and comparing its results with the results of polynomial regression. The result shows that BP network trained by improved PSO has higher accuracy and fine character of subsection smooth. Therefore, the model has guidance effect of importance to ship’s top demonstration and preliminary design.

Abstract: In order to resolve Multi-objective job shop scheduling problem, an optimization method of many goals scheduling based on grey relation theory and ant colony algorithm is proposed. Firstly, this paper introduces the relevant mathematical theory. AHP and Grey relational analysis, and they are combined to solve the choice of pre-processing equipment under the multi-objective conditions. What's more, ant colony algorithm is discussed to solve problem of processing order for machine. The effectiveness of multi-objective algorithm for job shop scheduling problem is verified through applying example.
