Abstract: Language of fabric in interior space is materialized in the form of fabric stuffs. With the internal laws and methods, fabric stuffs are organized and created in the space to convey the spirit of space, playing their positive role as fabric stuffs in space. As one of space’s vocabulary, fabric stuff cannot be ignored. Based on the constitute characteristics of interior space, this paper deals with the organization laws and design methods of fabric stuffs in interior space.

Abstract: Polypropylene (PP) melt-blown nonwoven has a good performance on thermal insulation, but it easily can be compressed tightly and hard to recovery. In this paper, to improve the disadvantage, we blended PET crimp short fibers into PP melt-blown nonwovens. Results showed that polyester (PET) crimp short fibers blended in melt-blown nonwovens supported as skeleton, effectively improved the bulkiness and compression-resisting performance of productions, as well the warmth retention properties.

Abstract: In this paper, two kinds of hydroentangled nonwovens made from the same raw materials and process but different high pressure manifolds is tested to investigate the effect of manifold geometry on the physical performance of products. The results show that the sample treated by slot type manifold has better properties, which has higher hydroentanglement intensity and better abrasion resistance, but no big difference with the pore size distribution. The results are in good agreement with our previous simulation data.

Abstract: The attapulgite powders modified by silicane coupling agent are loaded onto the surface of nylon 6 nanofibers by immersing the nylon 6 electrospun fiber nonwoven in a bath containing modified attapulgite dispersion under ultrasonicating. The nylon6 nanofibrous nonwoven containing attapulgite nano particles was explored as “nano adsorbent” to remove Cd (II) ions from Cd (II) aqueous solution. The effects of various parameters on adsorption properties, such as contact time, pH values of Cd (II) solution and initial Cd (II) concentration were investigated.

Abstract: Polyester fiber needle-punched nonwovens with different structures were manufactured and their sound absorption properties were examined using the standing wave tube method. The results show that the sound absorption property of the nonwovens depends on their thickness, needling intensity, fiber diameter and surface structure.

Abstract: In this paper, the influence of different combination of different density of nonwoven materials on the sound-absorption capability is studied through the serial experiments. The results show that the structure with low density on the surface material and dense density in the middle of the material will have better capacity in absorbing sound.

Abstract: A new kind of polypropylene spun-bonded nonwovens (PSN) with excellent hydrophilic property was developed after finished with S 6237 hydrophilic agent. The infiltration time (IT) and the runoff (RO) were tested to evaluate the hydrophilicity of the finished PSN. The impacts of different agent concentrations, drying temperatures and drying time on hydrophilicity were investigated and PSN before and after finished were compared concerning softness, air penetrability, moisture regain and stretch performance. The results show that the optimum technological condition for the hydrophilicity is agent concentration: 4 %, drying time: 30s and drying temperatures: 120 °C, and the IT and the RO for the first time are 1.82s and 1.8% respectively. Softness and air penetrability of the finished PSN were improved significantly but mechanical performance was merely decrease a little.

Abstract: With the fiber diameter of electrospun PVDF membrane in lithium cells measured by FE-SEM and the test sample designed by the BBD of RSM , a Quadratic multiple regression model got .The R-Squared(0.9466) and Adeq Precision(13.095) illustrated the model fitted the sample very well , small fluctuations between predicted and actual values also said the same result . Under taking analysis of variance and significance test of the model found that acetone mixed ratio, concentration, interaction of mixing ratio and concentration of acetone, interaction of concentration and electric field strength were significant influencing factors.

Abstract: In the present contribution, ultra-high molecular polyamide 6 (PA6) solutions were prepared in various pure and mixed-solvent systems and later electrospun with the polarity of the emitting electrode. The PA6 concentration in the as-prepared solutions was fixed at 4 wt%. Some of the solution properties, i.e., surface tension, and conductivity, were measured. In the mixed-solvent systems, formic acid (FA) was blended with dichloromethane (DCM), trichloromethane (THM), and acetone, the influences of low boiling point nonsolvents on morphological appearance and sizes of the resulting PA6 electrospun fibers were also investigated.
