Abstract: TiO2 nanotube arrays were fabricated by anodic oxidation in electrolytes containing F- in this paper. To achieve local drug delivery, anodized titanium with nanotube layer structures were loaded with ibuprofen(IBU) using a vacuum drying method in which drug molecules were tiled on the anodized titanium to dry in vacuum drying oven. The morphology and phase of TiO2 nanotube were characterized by means of FE-SEM, XRD, FIRT, respectively. Results indicated IBU were loaded on titania nanotube (220nm inner diameter and 7.3μm deep) layer successfully. But the IBU loading on anatase is more than on amorphism. And different phases with drug loading have the same release process, which was divided into quick release and stable release. Quick release processes about Anatase/IBU are fitted with different equations. We found that the experimental data fit the theoretical first-order curve the best. It suggested that the drug carrier had the properties of sustained release.

Abstract: Polypropene (PP)/graphite oxide (GO) nanocomposite was prepared via solution blending and studied by adopting polarized optical microscopy observations, X-ray diffraction analysis and differential scanning calorimetry analysis. It is found that GO acts as an effective heterogeneous nucleation agent. The addition of GO doesn’t change the crystalline structure of PP, but leads to the decrease of spherulite dimension. GO makes the temperature of the crystallization exothermic peak increase, the crystallization temperature range and the half width of the crystallization peak narrow.

Abstract: Sandwich structure, with high specific strength, high specific stiffness facesheet and light-weighted core material bonded together, is one of commonly used composite structures. During the manufacturing process, it is possible to have debonding between facesheet and core. This facesheet/core debonding affects the mechanical property and strength of sandwich structure. In this study, sandwich beams are made of graphite/epoxy laminate as facesheet and MWNTs/epoxy nanocomposites as core material. The composite sandwich beam, with a central facesheet/core debond and under four point bending, was analyzed by the finite element method. The length of the debonding layer, the fiber orientation of the facesheet laminate and MWNTs content in core were varied to assess their effects on the bending behavior and the strengths of the centrally-debonded sandwich beams.

Abstract: Studying the RC beams’ behavior, when they are exposed to combined shear and torsion is one of the most important problems in civil engineering which has been going on for half a century. In this study, to build a suitable set up and to load the beams properly, is of special importance when an area of little bending as the test area is needed in the pure shear and torsion test. In this investigation, based on the primary principle of structure analysis and fixed support, a setup is developed and its efficiency has been evaluated. Also this support system has been tested for five RC beams under the eccentricity of zero (pure shear) to extreme (pure torsion) and its efficiency has been evaluated and confirmed through these five tests.

Abstract: Aromatic diamine and dibromide with sulfone group as the monomers, three kinds of sulfoned-poly(imino ketone)s (PIKSs) were synthesized via C-N cross-coupling reaction. Their structures were characterized by means of FT-IR and 1H NMR, and the results showed an agreement with the proposed structures. The condensed structures of PIKSs were tested by WXRD, and the WXRD measurement results showed that these polymers had amorphous constitution. Also their thermal properties were tested by DSC and TG, the results indicated they featured high Tg (Tg >200°C) and good thermal stability (T5%﹥440°C). In addition, the adoption of sulfone group increased PIK’s solubility in organic solvents, and PIKSs were soluble in most commonly used organic solvents.

Abstract: A novel photosensitizer, pentalysine β-carbonyl-phthalocyanine zinc [ZnPc-(Lys)5] has tendency to form aggregate in aqueous solution. The observed in vivo Photodynamic therapy (PDT) effect of ZnPc-(Lys)5 suggests a disaggregation mechanism. In this study, the equilibrium binding constant Ka, the numbers of binding sites n and the distance of Forster radii r between ZnPc-(Lys)5 and human serum albumin (HSA) are measured by Spectroscopy. A molecular model of HSA-ZnPc-(Lys)5 complex was generated according to these datum. This molecular model provides rationale that the molecular interaction between HSA and ZnPc-(Lys)5 facilitates the dissociation of ZnPc aggregates.

Abstract: The synthesis and characterization of nickel-based aerogel prepared using nickel chloride as the precursor via sol-gel method is described. The addition of the polyacrylic acid as an template to the solution of NiCl2•6H2O can guide the gelation in the reaction to build a three dimensional open structure. The aerogel has been characterized using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), highresolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), nitrogen adsorption desorption analysis and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results indicate that the nickel-based aerogel has a typical three dimensional structure made up of spherical particles with an open porous network and has high surface area about 192 m2/g, average pore diameter about 40nm. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns show that the aerogel prepared at room temperature belongs to amorphous material. The synthesis of nickel-based aerogel, using polyacrylic acid as an template, is especially unique in our experiment.

Abstract: This paper will give a solution of measurement and control system based on FPGA embedded system for the Plastic Material Dynamic High-speed Tensile Machine (PMDHTM) with 1-100s-1 strain rate range. Using sub-modules design of Nios II soft-wore and SOPC to build measurement and control system. The state machine algorithm and servo drive device are applied to accomplish precise state control of the linear shaft motor. Collecting the stress data online and non-contacting strain measurement is adopted. The test result can well meet the linear motor control response demand below the 5Hz frequency. Compared with other control based on SCM, DSP and so on, it supplies an innovation way for the PMDHTM control.

Abstract: Friction stir welding(FSW) as a new, environmental and energy-saving solid phase joining technology has become the focus of research in the welding field at home and abroad in recent years. The technical characteristics, microstructure and application status of Friction Stir Welding were elaborated in this paper, meanwhile the studying situation of Friction stir welding for aluminium alloys, magnesium alloys and so on was stated. Finally development prospect of FSW in welding field was analyzed.

Abstract: For satisfying the dispersion and compatibility of nano-ZnO particles in organ medium, stearic acid (SA) which was activated by N, N’-carbonyldiiimidazole (CDI) was grafted onto the surface of ZnO nanoparticles prefunctionalized with aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APS). The results showed that the grafting reaction of SA on the nanoparticles had occurred successfully through the intermediate of carbonyl imidazole obtained by reacting between CDI and the stearic acid, and the amount of stearic acid grafting on the nano-ZnO with CDI was much more than that on the nano-ZnO particles without CDI.
