Abstract: In this paper, a model of the video surveillance system is proposed, which is defined as the centralized, regional and local these three monitoring levels. The design and implementation of the system is described from the acquisition, transmission and monitoring subsystems. The problems that should be noticed in construction of the acquisition subsystem are pointed out. A variety of network technologies are analyzed from the view of the construction cost and post-maintenance. The transmission structure with disaster recovery performance is given on the basis of network contrast. In the end, the key technologies and functions of monitoring subsystem are given.

Abstract: Sustainability measurement of renewable energy system is complex, as is the system itself. The study proposes a general indicator to evaluate sustainability of a renewable energy system. In order to comprehensively assess the environmental, economic and social sustainability, eleven indicators with different dimensions are quantified and aggregated into a general indicator of sustainability (GIS) based on fuzzy decision making methods, such as fuzzy analytic hierarchy processing and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The developed GIS is able to provide numerical results of sustainability for a renewable energy system. A case of a renewable energy system in Australia are presented to explain the application of the sustainability indicator. In terms of the four different combinations of grid, solar PV and wind renewable energy, the developed GIS is used to assess their sustainability.

Abstract: The cell surface hydrophobicity (CSH) of lactic acid bacteria was considered to colonization and adhesion, and playing a prebiotic function in the digestive tract. Therefore, CSH of yoghurt fermentation bacteria most commonly used was analyzed, such as Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus to identify initially CSH and the influencing factors of CSH of these strains and provided a theoretical basis for the future production of high-quality dairy fermentation agents and probiotics. The method of bacterial adhesion to hydrocarbons (BATH) was utilized to determine CSH of these strains and used the different conditions to process the cell. Through this research, the results was that L. acidophilus had a strong CSH, greater than L. bulgaricus and S. thermophilus. And the influencing factors of CSH of L. acidophilus were time, temperature, pH, concentration, Ca2+ and protease. But CSH was significantly reduced by trypsin and pepsin. CSH L. acidophilus was connected with the adhesion ability. In addition, it was speculated that some substances which could mediate CSH of L. acidophilus may be a class of proteins. Therefore, in the process of dairy fermentation agent, these factors could be controlled to obtain high-quality products.

Abstract: Under the condition of bounded rationality, make use of evolutionary game theory to analyze the stability between node enterprises of photovoltaic industrial chain. In the process of spontaneous evolution, the strategy of upstream and downstream enterprises of photovoltaic industrial chain depends on their primary state strongly. However, under the guidance of government policy, all upstream and downstream enterprises in photovoltaic industrial chain adopt cooperative strategy to guarantee its stable development, which reflects the important roles of government policy orientation in the development of emerging industrial chain.

Abstract: Shadow price can reflect the resources’ scarcity and their contribution for economy. This paper constructed an input-output LP model based on methods of input-output combined with linear programming. And then, this paper measured the shadow price of coal using this input-output LP model based on China’s input-output tables in 1987-2007 and used the method of scenario simulation analysis to measure the shadow price of coal under different developing rates of coal industry. The results showed that the shadow price of coal in China showed an overall upward trend from 1987 to 2007 and the coal’s shadow price will gradually reduce with the expansion of the coal industry on the existing economies’ scale.

Abstract: This paper tests the long-term equilibrium relations and short-term dynamic relations by applying Johansen co-integration test and VECM model among the coal demand, economic aggregate, economic structure, energy consumption efficiency, and urbanization level of china. It shows that there is a long-term equilibrium relation among above variables. Then the long-term elasticity of coal demand to other variables is given. It also shows, in the short run, the T time coal demand will affected by T-2 time economic aggregate, T-2 time urbanization level, T-1 time coal demand, and T-2 time coal demand. At last, the paper gives suggestions on how to control coal consumption in china.

Abstract: This paper selects energy consumption and annual GDP data of Beijing from the year of 1990 to 2009 as a sample, and adopted the research method of combining the quality and quantity, theory and empirical research, and we also employed the multiple linear regression model to analyze the effect of energy consumption to economic growth and the sensitivity of each effect factor. We wish this paper could provide a support to the future economic growth and policy optimization of energy and industry development of Beijing from theory to data.

Abstract: The fast growing of advanced digital technologies and the vast concern on the global warming phenomenon has led to the realization of a need for the development of “Smart Grid” throughout the globe. However there are fundamental distinctions among countries regarding the maturity of the electricity supply industry (ESI) structure, economic/political priorities and the vision of the government in this development. This paper therefore reviews major factors that involve in the development of a smart grid from selected countries, which are sensitive to these realities. Consequently, the outlook is different from the prevailing tendency to simply transplant experiences from elsewhere. The core issue that is identified in this paper is the approach to the nation’s policy. Thailand, since it is of medium size and reform oriented, is used as a main reference point. It is envisaged that the case studies discussed in this paper be useful for other countries where policy issue has become a key success of the development.

Abstract: The development of energy transportation corridor is a vital part of the national economy and social sustainable development. Energy transportation corridor construction and development present situation in China is analyzed in detailed. Several particular steps are planned for optimal designing energy transportation corridor networks in China. Various restricting factors lies in the key transportation corridors distribution and its reasonable operation mode are also pointed out.

Abstract: To realize effective coordination between economy and energy as well as environment, Chinese government has set out a comprehensive objective to achieve 4 times GDP growth with only 2 times energy consumption and 10% emission reduction by 2020, hence the sustainable development strategic planning for energy is particularly vital. Based on the analysis of international environments and domestic conditions of energy development in China, this article has made a more systematical and deeper research in countermeasure for solving those identified problems. Finally, a series of in-depth strategies and suggestions on sustainable development for China’s energy are put forward.
