Abstract: The purpose of the present study is to investigate the presence of fractal behaviours in the time series generated by the golden section using both statistical and geometrical approaches. The power spectrum, the statistical moment and the singular spectrum are calculated for the generated time series. The results from these methods indicate that the time series exhibit the monofractal behaviour.

Abstract: Based on the flexibility of single couple of serial mechanism and the stability of multi couples of parallel mechanism, a new type of S[T] output base of hybrid mechanism presented, component of sphere joint run through the tiger joint, this component still the output one with the capability of rotate in three dimensional space. Add serial branch including three translation couple P or/and rotation couple R to the new type of S[T] output base, put these members on one cubic frame, twenty seven configurations obtained with 3-DOF(degree of freedom) allow of three dimensional rotation, twenty seven configurations belong to three conditions obtained with 4-DOF allow of three dimensional rotation and one dimensional translation, nine configurations belong to three conditions obtained with 5-DOF allow of three dimensional rotation and two dimensional translation, one configuration obtained with 6-DOF allow of three dimensional rotation and three dimensional translation, all those sixty four configurations have no more than six translation couple or rotation couple, and the sum of two kind of couple is equal to six. Developing new type of hybrid manipulator based on the hybrid cubic mechanism constructed with S[T] output base and P/R input base will be possible in theory and useful.

Abstract: Rockfall is one of common geological disasters in the mountainous area. The experiment gained the impact waves for cushion soil mass contained 12density, 4 soil-rock ratio, 4 cushion obliquity, 3 moisture content, 3 rockfall quality, 5 height of rock fall. Used the wavelet theory to deal with the experiment waves, analyzed the experiment results: with rock’s mass, the height and density increased, the impact force is increasing, or the impact force is decreasing with the moisture content and cushion inclination increasing. The impact force spreads from the point of rockfall to all directions. The impact force data of the experiment is a little large than others, so this method provides a gist for choosing the prevention and cure measure for rockfall.

Abstract: In the detection of large flat mirror, the Ritchey-Common test can achieve high accuracy measurement. A method which expands the compressed images due to Ritchey Angle and rotates the plane under test is presented, achieve two sets of influence functions through this we can built two equations according to two different angular positions, we can solve the equations by least squares method. Then through fitting the coefficients, we can get the flat errors ,this paper describe the simulation test of the method in order to prove the feasibility and reliability of this method.

Abstract: Many issues are considered such as the limited energy of the mine safety monitoring system, which bring about the accidents taking place frequently. In this paper, the wireless monitoring system and protocol is re-selected and continuously improved. A reliable and energy-efficient routing protocol——SPIN-RE (SPIN-Reliable and Energy efficient) is proposed to improve the efficiency of the node energy and prolong the lifetime of the wireless sensor network. It is based on the SPIN which is the traditional routing protocol. It adds not only the energy threshold but also the memory list in the REQ message to balance the energy consumption between the single node and the whole network in the process of the data transmission. The result of the simulation shows that this protocol has a great improving in saving energy compared with the SPIN routing protocol.

Abstract: The optimization and matching question for the low-speed diesel engine’s combustion process determines its power, efficiency and emission. But the optimization and matching of the combustion process is related with the fuel injection rule, the intake swirl control, the valve timing adjustment, the combustion chamber structure, the operating condition parameter and so on. This paper takes the 5S60 marine low-speed diesel engine as the study object. The whole running phase oriented model based on the unified multi-domain has established, and the analysis for the diesel engine’s combustion process in cylinder has carried on. The analysis result provides the technical support for the economical, safe and reliable operation of the diesel engine. Thus the combustion process in cylinder is improved, the diesel engine’s performance is enhanced, and the pollutant discharge is reduced.

Abstract: To ensure vehicle stability in critical and dangerous working conditions, a vehicle stability control strategy is proposed, which is to generate compensating yaw moment by using the combined action of active rear-wheel steering and differential braking. A corresponding fuzzy controller for the proposed control strategy is designed. To verify the control effect of fuzzy controller, the numerical simulation by using vehicle dynamic model is performed in critical condition. The simulation results show that the designed fuzzy control system can efficiently prevent the vehicle to lose driving stability during critical turning.

Abstract: This paper investigates the influence of metallic trays on the resistance of cables made. the paper focuses on the history of life estimation methods of P-3C aircraft, with brief descriptions of recently conducted full-scale fatigue test. A physical model of an actively controlled cable has been used to demonstrate the control effectiveness of the proposed strategy through a large campaign of experiments,conducted in various frequency ranges and amplitude levels including meaningful external resonance conditions. Analytical investigations basedon the solution of nonlinear equations of motion, derived from a modal synthesis approach with substructural formulations, show an early jump in the freauencv response curve of the main cable.

Abstract: Drying plays an important role in the post-harvesting process of grain, and the quality of the corn after drying has received an increasing concern. The mathematical model of grain drying plays an essential role in developing grain dryer structure and obtaining the drying technological parameters. Furthermore, an accurate mathematical model is a reference for automated control during drying process. In this paper, using mathematical models and quality model of the corn drying process, a digital simulation of corn drying machine system based on a virtual instrument was established for 5HSZ dryer. Finally, an on-line measurement and automated control software of grain parameters were developed providing the changes of moisture, temperature, humidity, and germination rate in the process of drying. The experimental results show that the simulation result is valid, which has practical merit of operation and technical optimization of dryer.
