Abstract: For the purpose of elevating the efficiency of the surface finish to reach the fast improvement of the roughness of the cylinder surface, a new finish module combination of electrofinishing, grinding, and ultrasonic assistance is investigated. The present study discusses the surface roughness of YCS3 materials after traditional machining (turning, drawing, rolling, extrusion, etc.), of which the cylinder surface used a design finish-tool includes a ring-form electrode and a nonconductive grinding wheel to execute the continuous processes of electrofinishing and grinding. In the experiment, the external cylindrical workpiece is put into the compound circular finishing-tool to execute the polishing processes by automatic continuity production. The ultrasonic energy is used to transmit to the electrolyte. By the compound production of electrofinishing and grinding, the multiple effects not only included polishing processes of electrofinishing and grinding but also included the ultrasonic assistance from the ultrasonic energy is transmitted to the electrolyte to assist the dregs and cuttings discharge during polishing processes.

Abstract: In order to research the car interior aerodynamic noise, the non-smooth surfaces of exterior rearview mirror are studied based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and computational aero acoustic (CAA) method. The large eddy simulation model was used to construct transient flow field, and the FW-H acoustic model was used to analyze the aerodynamic noise generated by the exterior rearview mirror. From the comparative analysis on aerodynamic noise spectrum of every monitor point, a conclusion can be drawn that the rearview mirror with non-smooth surfaces can improve the performance of car interior aerodynamic noise.

Abstract: Developing deepwater oil and gas resource is the trend of oil industry development. It is important to select a proper development scenario and riser system which works as a key tool to connect subsea equipment and surface body in a deepwater project. Based on the West Africa’s deepwater target field CNOOC owned, this paper designs a detailed development scenario-FPSO +SPS +Shuttle tanker according to the following factors: well, reservoir layout, environment, floaters availability, commercial considerations. Floater and riser selection interact with each other. Considering the development scenario, a basic method for selecting a proper riser system is presented. As a result, FSHR is selected from existing risers based on technology, reliability, risk and cost.

Abstract: Incorporating color distribution and spatial layout, this paper proposes a sequential Monte Carlo filter posterior tracking algorithm using color and spatial information in HSV color space. The target model is defined by the spatial color information of the tracking face region. By computing the characteristic distance between sample and target, different weights associated with every sample and the posterior of state vector can be computed. The samples distribution trends to the state distribution, whose validity is guaranteed by the strong law of large numbers. The tracking results using weighted samples are given in simulation. Experimental results show the probabilistic approach is simple and computationally efficient. In addition, this algorithm based on the sequential Monte Carlo filter could predict the location of face and track its trajectory satisfactorily in various complex conditions.

Abstract: The RP processes based on ceramic paste extrusion is the layer-by-layer addition process and the paste extrusion process is intermittent. a paste extrusion experimental device has to be developed and the control system is the core problem. In this paper, the TMS320F2812 chip is used to design the DSP control system for driving the step motor in extruder. The DSP F2812 control system consists of emulator and target board. The design of stepper motor control circuit, serial communication circuit and A/D converting circuit in target board is introduced detailedly. The experimental tests show that the control system can be used to investigate the phenomenon in intermittent extrusion process of ceramic paste.

Abstract: The energy efficiency experiment of electric light is implemented according to the lighting design of the physical training venues. In the experiment, the corresponding illumination, power and energy efficiency ratio of the commonly used high pressure sodium lamp and metal halide lamp which work under the voltage ranging from 187V to 234V are experimentally measured and the lighting effect characteristics of the two kinds of electric light sources compared, proving that the high pressure sodium light source should be employed in the training venue for physical education of universities.

Abstract: Through outdoor artificial simulation test, the influence of the grass coverage on runoff shear force of the slope surface was studied. The results showed that the slope surface runoff shear force decreased with the increase of the grass coverage. In the experimental condition of 30° slope and 5L/min flow magnitude, runoff average shear force of the bare slope, low coverage and high coverage of the slope surface were respectively 0.9 Pa, 0.5 Pa and 0.3 Pa. The fluctuation changing range along the riser and the test diachronic of the slope surface runoff shear force of all kinds of slopes decreased with the increasing of the grass coverage.

Abstract: This paper introduces the manufacture of a new standard reflecting plate, which is used to calibrate the measurement system of radar absorbing materials in 3 mm band. The new standard reflecting plate is designed and employed with the structure of truncated pyramid and metal with high permittivity. It has the nominal reflectivity of-5dB, -10dB, -15dB and has the characteristics of high stability, easy manufacture and convenient usage.

Abstract: Taking a full-monocoque body as the research object, the finite element analysis theory was applied to build the finite element model of the bus and the numerical simulation environment of the structural strength of the superstructure. The vehicle centre of gravity position determination was studied and calculated. According to the ECE R66 equivalent authentication method, the rollover test of body section was carried out. The rigid and strength characteristic of bus superstructure were evaluated. On this basis, the energy absorbing capability of body section during the rollover process was studied and evaluated. The results showed that the body section of bus was complied with the regulatory requirements; its structural safety characteristic was good. This design method of rollover crash safety had important significance and value to research and development of manufacturer.
