Abstract: World is facing serious environmental crisis, and the willingness to protect the environment becomes more and more positive, but environmental behavior don’t grow with the will. This paper tried to explain the gap between environmental attitude and environmental responsible behavior from place attachment, and explored the moderating role of environmental attitude. The findings showed that place attachment had significant influence on environmental responsible behavior, and the influence was moderated by the environmental attitude. Implications and limitations of these findings were discussed.

Abstract: With the increasing global competition, people worried that most foreign-funded enterprises have comparative advantage in pollution-intensive products due to the relatively relaxed environmental regulation and lax enforcement in China. This study examines the relationship between the foreign direct investment (FDI) and local pollution in china. Our results find that a city received more FDI may be not lead to higher pollution. In fact, FDI have a beneficial effect on local environment. Policy-makers should be to attract more foreign investment that openness could improve development China's environment by increasing local income, introducing more energy efficient production technology, and increasing competition and diving out less efficient factories. This suggests that the market-oriented economic reform improve the environment.

Abstract: In this paper, we examine the influence of foreign direct investment (FDI) on Chinese industrial carbon emission through technical channels. Based on data from Chinese 35 industrial sectors during 1999-2008, and using the different indicators which represent diverse technical effects channels, we investigate technology effects of FDI on Chinese industrial carbon emission. Results show that FDI do bring positive influence on Chinese carbon emission in industrial sectors through technical channels and these effects of FDI reach maximum one year later.

Abstract: Through the theory review, this article used the experiment to research the effects of proximity and perceived severity of environmental pollution on environmental responsible behavior. The results showed that: (1) proximity will positively influence individual environmental responsible behavior; (2) perceived sverity of environmental pollution has a significant positive effect on individual environmental responsible behavior; (3) there is a interaction between proximity and perceived severity of environmental pollution. These conclusions make up the defects of the current theory and literature and have certain innovation.

Abstract: Since 1990, the Green Restaurant Association (GRA), a United States based national non-profit organization, has led the green restaurant movement by providing certification for restaurants to become more environmentally responsible. Certification services include rating existing restaurants and food service operations with points in seven environmental categories. The present study intended to employ Fishbein and Ajzen’s Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) to examine and understand the impact of consumers’ beliefs on attitudes and patronage intention toward green restaurant in Taiwan. A total of 389 respondents completed a survey conducted at the downtown hectic transit station of Taipei’s Metro system. The results of a structural equation analysis revealed that consumers’ beliefs of green restaurant positively affected their attitudes and patronage intentions toward green restaurant. Implications and suggestions for future research are discussed.

Abstract: Now more and more businesses begin implementing green marketing and carrying out the eco-labels program. But there is a confused question for enterprise, if there will have the same effect for different types of green products. For this, the existing literatures have few involved. So, our research use the simulation experiment method to analyze the impact between the two green product types (self-serving green products versus altruistic green products) and the presence of eco-labels (yes versus no) on consumers’ green purchase intention. Results of this study provide a theoretical basis for green products marketing.

Abstract: The ecologically vulnerable areas(EVA) refer to the poor areas with severe environment. The vicious cycle owes to the contradiction between human and environment, which is the root of environment degradation.To relieve the pressure on resources and environment, the effective rural labor force’s transfer turns out to be the basic solution to this problem .Take the Baicheng city in western Jilin as an example, by the method of quantitative and qualitative analysis, this paper analyzes the social and economic characters,such as the lag of employment structure ,the singleness of rural industry chain and the lowness of living level and farmers' comprehensive quality. Some suggestions are put forward to promote farmers employment in EVA, they are marking off ecological functional parts, constructing ecological industry system, cultivating new farmers and speeding up urbanization.

Abstract: Based on the data of provincial input-output model and the carbon footprint model, the analysis is focused on provincial carbon footprint and the space transfer of carbon emissions. The results have shown that: (1) There are significant differences of provincial total carbon footprint amounts: resource-rich provinces have high total carbon footprint amounts, followed by processing and manufacturing provinces and municipalities; Regions with high energy efficiency have low carbon footprint amounts, so does southwestern region where economic and industrial development level is relatively low. (2) The provincial differences of carbon footprint per capita are related to demand structure: the amounts of carbon footprint are high in provinces with higher demand of consumption and investment, especially those provinces with strong demand for construction and processing industries. The amounts of carbon footprint are low in provinces which are non-resource-based, have limited investment and construction, and its economic structure is not dominated by processing and manufacturing. (3) Interprovincial trades have a significant impact on carbon footprint and carbon emissions. Provinces with well developed infrastructure have net CO₂ emissions flow-in that are directly induced by high energy consumption products; southwestern region, where processing and manufacturing industry is relatively less-developed, has main CO₂ emission flow-in, which are induced by the demand of processing and manufacturing industries; resource-intensive provinces and provinces with well-developed processing and manufacturing industries have net CO₂ emission flow-out, which are induced by interprovincial trades.

Abstract: We survey 1106 rural households’ information concerning economical status and environmental consciousness in Ankang city, Shaanxi province. Descriptive statistics and model statistics analysis method is adopted to analyze the relationship among environmental awareness, environmental behaviors and incomes. Results show that the majority of farmers’ environmental consciousness and their behaviors have been greatly improved, and that their income has little significance with their environmental consciousness and environmental behaviors.

Abstract: The impacts of some factors on the development of urban heat island are investigated in this paper. The results show that the development of urban heat island is influenced by many factors. Cold and try climate is more favorable for the development of urban heat island than warm and moist climate; Urban heat island develops slowly in those seashore cities that are influenced obviously by land and sea breezes. Closed topography (e.g., valleys, basins) is favorable for the development. The heat island development is direct proportional to urban developing speed; In the cities in which highly energy consumption industries concentrate, heat island is more obvious.
