Abstract: Aiming to improve the assembly efficiency of machinery products, a Virtools-based virtual assembly system is presented. Firstly, the framework of the Virtools-based virtual assembly system is proposed. Then, how the virtual scene built is introduced. Based on VE (virtual environment), combined with the data glove, the dynamic and interactive assembly is designed via the Virtools platform. Finally, the key techniques of supporting virtual assembly system such as collision detection are also studied by using the Virtools.

Abstract: In order to simplify the design of secondary instrument, a highly integrated scheme based on MSP430F169 was put forward in the paper. On analysis of the functional requirement for process parameter measurement and control systems, signal conditioning circuits to deal with the thermal resistance, thermocouple, current and pulse input or output was designed to meet the demand of different field. The MCU on-chip resources were used in the design as far as possible. It mainly includes the use of A/D and pulse counter to acquire signal, D/A to output current and UART to construct communication. Furthermore the clock and EEPROM storage systems were designed to enlarge the universal property. Tests show that the platform can meet the hardware demand of the mainstream secondary instrument, and is with high performance cost ratio.

Abstract: The motor temperature rise is an important indicator for the evaluation of motor performance and the development of motor testing system put forward higher requirements to data acquisition and processing. In view of this, the motor temperature rise test system based on the magnetic power dynamometer which acted as a load was studied. The overall structure and the software algorithm of the system were introduced. The existing synchronous sampling method was put into use in data acquisition system of the motor temperature rise test so that it can automatically test the motor temperature rise. Combining with the instance, proves the accuracy of this method. This method has the superiority of reducing errors and improving accuracy by combining with the instance.

Abstract: When accidents such as inrush of water, fire or falling happened, workers were trapped in a difficult position and rescue team could not approach. How to get through the isolation layer quickly and carry out emergency rescue is the main priority of the rescue team, which have great significance to reduce accident death rate and economic losses. In this paper, we analyze the application status of rapid drilling technology at home and abroad in coal mine accident rescue. When the drilling conditions encountered broken, fractured and other complex issues, we propose the air DTH reverse circulation drilling technology used in mine emergency rescue is feasible.

Abstract: In this paper we present a method for regulating diffusion tensor magnetic resonance (DT-MRI) data. The method is divided in two steps. First, decomposed diffusion tensor and found out the tensors whose eigenvalue was non-positive. The second step was to apply tri-linear interpolation to regularize the diffusion tensor field. We show that the process is a convenient framework to regulate DT-MR data. Both steps are illustrated on real diffusion tensor magnetic resonance data.

Abstract: Several N-3 compressors are proposed against the limitations of conventional compressors on power optimization. Larger module based N-3 compressors provide more space for EDA tools to make the full use of various strategies and low-power cells. The number of modules and logical boundary can be reduced when the compression tree is constructed by N-3 compressors. The partial products of the Booth multipliers 48X48 and 64X64 are compressed by different compressors. The results show that, under same constraint conditions, the operating speed of compression tree constructed by N-3 compressors is ensured and a significant reduction of power is obtained.

Abstract: Marine oil spill often forms oil droplets in stormy conditions. Based on the dimensional analysis Rayleigh method, the relationship is established between entrainment rate of oil droplets and statistical physical quantities such as the energy dissipation rate, intrusion depth et al. An expression of size spectrum of oil droplets is derived based on theorem and relationship between the capillary number, the dimensionless intrusion time and viscosity ratio. Preliminary results show that the slope of the derived spectrum is-2.29, which agrees well with the measured slope-2.3 in laboratory. Shear rate, surface tension, droplet radius, oil and water viscosity is the main factors controlling the total number of the oil droplets.

Abstract: As the future highest dam in the world, Shuang Jiang Kou rock-fill dam was the water retaining structure of homonymous hydropower station, a controlling engineering on Da Du River hydropower development, which is under design now. This dam is a central earth core dam with a height of 312 meters. A type of gravel soil stiffer than clay, which is made by artificial compounding of clay and gravel, is introduced to reduce the difference in displacement of earth core and rock filled shell zone. Because of the introduced less flexible central core, a more remarkable arching effect of the abutment on earth core might occur simultaneously. A three dimensional coupled nonlinear finite element analysis is carried out to study the three dimensional arching effect of Shuang Jiang Kou rock-fill dam. Computation results show that the arching effect is much notable. Then an innovation is proposed in design, in which a contact high-plasticity clay layer is introduced. It is verified that this innovation is effective and necessary.

Abstract: Due to complexity of laser cutting process and its many influence factors, this paper puts forward the evaluation method of laser cutting quality based on the difference of average upper and under kerf width from four points in two lines, systematically analyzes the influence rule and the influence degree of cutting speed, laser power, pulse width, repetition frequency on kerf width by laser cutting experimental study of 1Cr17Mn6Ni5N steel plates and provides a new method for evaluation of laser cutting quality and selection of optimal cutting parameters.
