Abstract: This paper suggested a new efficient lossless compression algorithm for vector maps in view of the graphical characteristics. First, we adopt the differential lossless transformation for the graphic data in the vector map files, to make the original data which should have been represented by double model or float model be represented by long model. Then, based on the abbreviated compression, the prediction coding based on the irregular coefficients is used. Namely, it is to dynamically distribute proper byte storage to the transformed coefficients which have been differentiated according to the numerical values, and compressed further combined with a dictionary coding method. Finally, we do an experimental contrast for the compression effect.

Abstract: Remote sensing image vectorization; edge enhancement; boundary tracking; Abstract. This paper researched and implemented remote sensing image vectorization process using semi-automated way. Remote sensing image can be vectored as the following five steps:vertical and horizontal edge enhancement, open operation, close operation, binarization, and finally the boundary tracking. The paper presented an improved tracking algorithm to avoid the shortcomings of traditional edge tracking algorithm. In our tracking algorithm, for image maps, we first use open operation and then use close operation to remove noise.This vectorization method changed the traditional data collection mode and improved data collection efficiency.

Abstract: Evolutionary algorithm has gained a worldwide popularity among multi-objective optimization. This paper proposes a novel multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on the fuzzy similarity measure. First, the best solution of every objective among the multi-objectives is obtained and they are regarded on as the referenced vector. Second, the fuzzy similarity measure between every individual and the referenced vector is solved and the fuzzy similarity measure is acted as fitness of the individual. Moreover, the pareto optimal sets are solved by means of adaptive genetic algorithm. The variety of population is kept by means of adaptive probability of crossover and mutation. At last, the algorithm is used to optimize the design parameters of cylinder helical compression spring. Simulation examples show the effectiveness of the approach proposed.

Abstract: A new type of multi-processor interconnected data processing system is developed based on SRIO protocol which is always used for interconnecting chips on a board. It solves two major bottlenecks of high-speed computing and high-speed communications effectively in realtime processing system. The hardware structure of the system is introduced in this paper, and a interconnecting network composed of four dsps is implemented in which any pair of dsps can communicate at 3.125Gbps.

Abstract: This paper briefly describes the importance of coiling temperature control in the strip production process, and analysis which shows that the current existence of coiling temperature control is difficult, for the laminar cooling process is one with a strong non-linear, distributed parameter, time-varying. Intelligent control method is presented and carried out with the Matlab simulation. The simulation result shows that this method will enable the ultimate precision of coiling temperature control within 5 °C.

Abstract: The vehicle routing problem with fuzzy demands at nodes is considered. The fuzzy credibility measure is developed to determine the credibility to send the vehicle to next node, and a hybrid mata-heuristics is proposed to determine a set of vehicle routes to minimizes vehicle number and total costs. Finally the computational results are presented to show the high effectiveness and performance of the proposed approaches.

Abstract: The vehicel routing problem with time windows (VRPTW) was considered in this paper, and a genetic algorithm (GA) for the proposed problem was designed to minimize total travel distance. Finally we tested the proposed approach with Solomon’s test set, the experimental results show that the proposed GA is very effective compared with other approaches pulished recently.

The system is consisted of LCD display module, wireless communication net module which includes sending and decoding. This design has advantages of both low price and high performance.

Abstract: In view of the backward situation in technology of the prepayment intelligent water-meter. The paper presents the new method of water-meter word wheel’s numeral recognition and the design of intelligent water-meter based on TM card and its management system. TM-card technology is introduced into prepayment intelligent water-meter, the structure of hardware and realization of software in the control system of Intelligent TM-card water-meter is given, including introducing the method of encoding sampling and recognition, and the circuit design of every part, and the design of embedded software. The realization of charge management system is detailed introduced. The prototypical experiment and the actual application indicates that the intelligent water-meter system based on TM card has some advantage of perfect function, exact measurement and reliable communication.

Abstract: Hydropower station is one of key energy construction projects in china. The hydro-mechanical component is one of the core parts of the hydropower station. Therefore, the importance of hydro-condition monitoring becomes even more conspicuous in hydropower station. In this present study, the hardware of hydropower station hydraulic monitoring system was re-designed and integrated through researching hydro-determination theory and method of the hydropower station, using ADAM modules; At the same time, by using development tool C++ and assembly language, a 16-channel data acquisition and visualization operations hydro-monitoring system was completed by implementing the functions of acquisition, calibration, analysis, processing for the software system. Finally, the entire monitoring system was applied on Tianqiao hydropower, and the result indicated that this system might be a better method in monitoring results.
