Abstract: In this paper, the structure of plastic door and window and the characteristics of sawing
and milling machining PVC profile are introduced, and on the basis of analyzing the relationship
between function and kerfs of the window parts, the feature model of machining window profile is
constructed, hereby making the geometry modeling and defining the essential elements of design
feature make the process of automatic NC code generation simplified and its reliability strengthened.

Abstract: In order to gain insight into business processes, multiple autonomous data sources
residing in the manufacture enterprise need to integrate not only on storage and access methods but
also capturing the meaning of data to get a coherent and meaningful data views for different
applications requirements. This paper presents a semantic-based architecture for the integration of
heterogeneous manufacturing data sources. The integration is realized on a semantic level by the
explicit presentation of data semantics with ontology and relationships between ontologies. During
applications usage, heterogeneous data sources which represent relations of relevance are
dynamically organized in terms of their semantics. The paper discusses some major problems in the
architecture: unified schema transformation, semi-automatic ontology generation and mediation.

Abstract: The full automation of machine tools has gained substantial importance in manufacturing
industries in recent years, as machining technology has progressed from manually operated
production machines to highly advanced and sophisticated CNC machine tool. Whereas
manufacturing technology has moved to the stage of automation, there is still an unsolved problem
in metal cutting processes: cutting chatter. Due to its complexity, thus cutting chatter is still the
primary problem in metal cutting processes. According to the characteristic of cutting chatter, a real
time monitoring technique of cutting chatter based on fuzzy hidden Markov model (FHMM) was
presented. Hidden Markov model (HMM) is a state-of-the-art technique for speech recognition
because of its elegant mathematical structure and the availability of computer implementation of
these models. In this paper, the fuzzy EM algorithm was used to the Baum-Welch algorithm in the
HMM method, and the strategy of time frequency feature extraction to non-stability signal was
described. The experimental results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective for the
monitoring of cutting chatter in the metal cutting processes.

Abstract: This paper is pointed to the turning surface. A surface roughness prediction model is
constructed by polynomial network and image processing technology. After threshold treatment, we
can get the gray scale central line arithmetic mean value, Gra and the distance between black and
white color, Gf. The prediction model is constructed by Gra value, Gf value and cutting condition.
By the experimental results, it can be found that the surface roughness prediction model constructed
by this study is very accurately. It can be used to on-line surface roughness monitoring for turning.

Abstract: The advances of wireless networking technologies and mobile devices has prompted many
modern enterprises to look for management information systems to remotely monitor and control of
their company operations in order to increase their flexibility and competitiveness in the market.
Multi-agent modeling has emerged as a powerful technology for dealing with cooperation and
decision-making processes in distributed information system applications. In this paper, we proposed
a Mobile-enterprise Multi-Agent Paradigm (MMAP) which is an intelligent multiagent-based system
combined with wireless VPN technology to provide various management operations to senior
executives by PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) with wireless data networks. To demonstrate how the
architecture can be built, the data collection agent, one of the primary component-ts of the proposed
paradigm, is developed into a prototype implementation for part of the MMAP.
