Abstract: To measure the similarity between two images, the local information around all the points were usually used for traditional image retrieval methods based on interest points. The accuracy would be influenced by the dissimilar interest points in the background region or in the uninterested regions. A new image retrieval method based on interest points was proposed in this paper. The most similar interest points were chosen firstly based on feature matching techniques, then the similarity was measured based on the local gray information around the preserved similar interest points. Experiments show that the proposed method is more accurate than traditional image retrieval method based on interest points.

Abstract: In this paper, we present a new method for internet traffic forecasting based on a boosting LS-SVR algorithm. AdaBoost has been proved to be an effective method for improving the performance of weak learning algorithms and widely applied to classification problems. Inspired by it, we use LS-SVR to complete the initial training; and pay more attention on the “high error areas” in the time series; then, we use an ensemble learning algorithm to learn these areas.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose an intrusion detection framework through multi-agents scheme for wireless home automation networks. Our mechanisms include the wireless sensor network intrusion detection architecture and an intrusion detection scheme for security enhancement. For the performance evaluation of our mechanism, we use the wireless data measured on the real wireless home networks. The simulation results show that the security manager detect the intrusion attack to improve the whole performance of the system, and can prolong the lifetime of the network.

Abstract: Archwire bending is one of the key components in orthodontic treatment. However, it is a very difficult work due to the high stiffness and superelasticity of orthodontic wire. The traditional way of acquiring the formed archwire curve is based on manual operation, which will randomly bring numerous errors caused by human factors. This paper proposes a novel robotic system to bend archwire into desired configuration. Structure and elements of robotic system for archwire bending was studied. Coordinate systems of robotic system were built up. Control points of end effector and control angle of each control point were planned. Preliminary orthodontic wire bending experimentation has been done using the robotic system. The experimental results verified the feasibility of the manufacture strategy of formed orthodontic wire fulfilled by robotic system for orthodontic wire bending.

Abstract: Using neural network BP algorithm and the neural network toolbox of MATLAB, this paper presented a new reliability prediction model of the products. Its processes included that confirming training samples, putting up the network that was initialized, training the network and predicting reliability parameters of the products. At last reliability parameters of an example were predicted with the reliability prediction, the prediction effect was more perfect.

Abstract: China's English education has acted as a huge and persistent system. But still it can not solve the problem that graduates can not use English well in their professions. In this paper, based on the project of bilingual teaching reform of "Advanced Manufacturing Technology", it is presented that the bilingual teaching for senior in university should act as a final ring in the foreign language education chain in China. In this final ring, both the teaching philosophy that English is only a kind of tool and the teaching strategy of using English are two crucial factors. The teaching result shows that the bilingual teaching played a multiplier effect in achieving the ultimate goal of English education.

Abstract: Aimed at Zr44Ti11Cu10Ni10Be25 amorphous alloy and based on POLYFLOW software, studies the influence of die inlet diameter, blowing pressure and die transition fillet on the blow molding performance of tube blank systemly, and raises a new evaluation index to evaluate the formability of amorphous tube blank, limit height to diameter ratio (LHTDR) . The simulation results indicate that the forming limit of tube blank can be multiple improved with the decrease of die inlet diameter, blowing pressure has a significant effect on the forming limit which can be improved by decreasing the pressure, and the larger of the die transition fillet the higher of the forming limit in certain range. Finally, a set of reasonable process parameters is given which has great significance for guiding the formulation of blow molding process scheme.

Abstract: The brake friction materials in an automotive brake system are considered as one of the key components for overall braking performance of a vehicle. Temperature sensitivity of friction materials has always been a critical aspect while ensuring their smooth and reliable functioning, and that sensitivity need to be constantly optimized. The performance of friction materials at elevated temperatures is defined by their fading performance. In this paper,a group of non-asbestos organic based friction materials containing different relative amounts of the ingredients of aluminosilicate fiber, steel fiber, phenolic resin and Cu powder mostly effecting on the tribological properties of designed brake material were manufactured by compression molding. Dry sliding friction characteristics of composites were tested on a model JF150D-II pad-on-disk type friction tester. A model of feed-forward artificial neural networks (ANN) consisting of four input neurons, six output neurons and one hidden layer, was used for the analysis and prediction of the correlation between material components and friction performance. The input parameters of ANN were the contents of four main components as aluminosilicate fiber, steel fiber, phenolic resin and Cu powder. The outputs were the friction coefficients of brake material against cast iron at six different operating tempetures from 100°C to 350°C. Based on ANN model trained successfully by 25 pieces samples, genetic algorithm(GA) was used to optimize the input parameters of compositions of brake material with the goal of minimizing fluctuation of friction coefficients at 100°C to 350°C. The optimum composition of brake material was obtained. The friction experiments of optimized material showed excellent stability of friction coefficients for automotive brake material as test temperatures increased from 100°C to 350°C. The neural network has impressive potential for solving time-consuming problems for the design of automobile brake material.
