Abstract: The anatase coatings was obtained by aqua regia dealloying and plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) method on NiTi shape memory alloy (SMA) substrate. The PEO manufacturability of NiTi SMA before and after dealloying was researched. The PEO surface morphologies of the aqua regia treated and untreated specimens were investigated with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The composition of the PEO coatings was investigated with X-ray diffraction (XRD). The element concentration of the surface of the PEO-treated NiTi SMA was measured by an energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS). The results indicate that the pre-treatment technology by aqua regia dealloying can greatly improve the PEO manufacturability and the PEO morphologies of the NiTi SMA. The optimum dealloying parameters are at room temperature for 10 min. At this circumstance, the PEO manufacturability of the treated samples is most close to that of the industrial pure titanium. There are many honeycomb-like micro-pores in the surface of the PEO coatings, which act as discharging channels. The cracks are invisible in the SEM images of the PEO coatings. The PEO coatings formed on the NiTi is composed of Ti, Ni, Al, O, Au and P. The composition of the PEO coatings is mainly composed of NiTi phase and anatase phase.

Abstract: Applying the wireless sensor networks (WSN) to bridge vibration measurement not only provides the on-time monitoring but also reduces the cost of wired system significantly. The servo velocity sensors (SVS) are the most popular sensors of vibration measurement for the civil infrastructures such as bridges. In this feasibility study, a mote-integrated converter module is designed and implemented for connecting the SVS and WSN. The major limitation of this application is the low-bit rate wireless transmission. Through several field measurements, the number of nodes in a wireless channel is advised to be two at most and the multiple single hop schemes are suggested for the vibration monitoring applications. Utilizing the WSN to monitor the on-time bridge vibration is feasible and the application can be further optimized by employing the distribution algorithms specific to the vibration measurements.

Abstract: Due to the complexity of measurement system, it is hard correct errors by using traditional error separation and error tracing technology. To reduce the production cost and improve the measurement accuracy, a novel error compensation method based on harmonic analysis is presented in this paper. In this way, high precision time grating sensors can be manufactured with low precision mechanical machining method. The experiment results prove that errors can be reduce within ±2″.

Abstract: A controller design method for Petri net with uncontrollable and unobservable transitions that enforces the conjunction of a set of linear inequalities on the Parikh vector is proposed. The method is based on the theory that each place can be described with a Parikh vector inequality. Constraints are classified into admissible and inadmissible constraints. An inadmissible constraint cannot be directly enforced on a plant because of the uncontrollability or unobservability of certain transitions. Construct the controller though transforming the inadmissible constraint into admissible one. The method eases the design of controller, because it is based on part net design, and it only considers the direct or indirect transitions related to the constraints. So the computation required to find the Petri net controller is quite simple. Finally, the method is proved to be simple and efficient through one example.

Abstract: This paper addresses the problem of dissimilarity measurement and incorporates an auto-correlogram operator into probabilistic tracking. Perceptual similarity measurement based upon color correlogram is proposed to weigh the candidates and obtain the expectation state vector of tracked vehicles. The object color is represented in perceptually better-organized HSV color space, which produced improvement over the original method that used in the RGB color space. Properly quantized HSV color space improved the efficiency of auto-correlogram computation and robustness to changes in color content and variations in illumination. Experimental results demonstrate that the efficiency of HSV color correlogram in weighing samples is better than that of RGB auto-correlogram and HSV color histogram in traffic scene applications.

Abstract: To establish the configuration relations of complex product in the process of customization into supply chain, a new method of product configuration based on polychromatic graph theory was put forward. Then the optimum product structure configuration mathematical model was got and the improved ant colony algorithm was employed to solve the problem. The results showed that the solution quality got by improved ant colony algorithm was better than the solution got by traditional ant colony algorithm, and the product configuration model can exactly present the configuration information, product attribute and assembly relation for complex product. The customization system offers a kind of new way to meet customers’ requirements that the customers are eager for consumption of varieties, small batch production, short cycle and high quality.

Abstract: The actuality that SHCAN2000 system relies on FIX configuration software has limited its application scope significantly. In this paper, the interface card what accord with OPC specification was realized through applying LM3S8962 microcontroller and OPC technology, the opening performance of data acquisition system was greatly improved, which can effectively avoid the repeatability of development process and incompatibility of many integrated software systems, at the same time, the standardization of hardware and software was also fulfilled the requirements. The improved Field Bus control system has a broader application prospect in industrial control field.

Abstract: The structure of a CAN/LIN hybrid network automobile body control system is introduced and the test software for the CAN/LIN hybrid network Body Control Module (BCM) has been designed and developed with Visual C++. It can test and display executive devices’ working status in the body control system in real time, update the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) program through CAN bus, get the fault code of BCM and position fault source when BCM need to be diagnosed. This paper describes in details the general design scheme of the software, important function module design, the operating interface design and application method, and also point out how to turn these ideas into reality
