Abstract: A kind of drug release bionic scaffold with gradient structure was designed to release drugs. The scaffold mould had been designed with CAD software and fabricated with rapid prototype. The bionic beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) scaffold was fabricated with freeze drying. It was composed of two coaxial cylindrical porous scaffolds. The internal loose scaffold was embedded in the outer dense layer. The two different density layers of the scaffold could be used to adjust the drug releasing rate through regulating the slurry concentration. The scaffold was distributed with pores ranged from 30μm to 100μm. The research indicated that the scaffold with gradient structure could be loaded with two kinds of drugs which were released at different rate. The scaffolds were fit as the substitute materials for bone repairing.

Abstract: The current corn classification is mainly handicraft. This method is low efficiency, labor intensive, and has failed to meet the requirements of production. This system unifies PAC and machine vision, designed a corn grading system. The whole system has configuration monitored and controlled by using machine PAC visual technology and Device Net field bus technology, the system has a safe and reliable operation, classicists accurately and rapidly. This system can significantly improve the efficiency and frozen corn sorted product quality, sort and speed over40 per minute, sorting accuracy can reach more than 99 percents. Demonstrates PAC technology in sorting system unique flexibility and expansibility, better realize the controlled object of automation control, has wide application prospects.

Abstract: In recent years, 2D digital image correlation method (DIC) has been widely used in the measurement of plane strain. However, out-of-plane displacement could be induced during the loading and it would affect the measurement accuracy. Thus, a 3D measurement is necessary. This study utilizes a simplified 3D DIC to measure the geometry of an object before and after deformation. Then the finite element concept is involved to determine the strain after deformation. A flat plate specimen with in-plane and out-of-plane displacement is observed. Both 2D and 3D DIC are used to analyze the strain. The results show that using 3D DIC to measure strain is feasible and with a very good accuracy.

Abstract: Global optimization techniques have been used extensively due to their capability in handling complex engineering problems. Metamodel becomes effective method to enhance global optimization. In this paper, we propose a new global optimization method base on incremental metamodel. At each sampling step, we adopt inherited Latin HyperCube design to sample points step by step, and propose a new incremental metamodel to update the cofficient matrix gradually. Experiments proved that the global optimization method has highest efficiency and can be finding global minimum fastly.

Abstract: Video-oculography (VOG) is a non-invasive method used for the eye tracking detecting. A most important work of VOG is to accurately estimate the pupil center. However, VOG cannot acquire eye movement when the eye blinks. A Grey forecasting model was proposed to predict the pupil center for the blinking frame of VOG video. The Grey forecasting model used GM(1,1) model to carry on the modeling. Then an experiment is provided. The experiment results show that the predicted data of the Grey forecasting meet the characteristics of the patients with nystagmus. The Grey forecasting model is a viable means of accurately predict the pupil center for blinking in VOG.

Abstract: In order to detect the ice on aircraft wings, a method based on near infrared image processing is proposed. According to the variety of near-infrared reflectivity, four images of one object are obtained under different detection wavelengths. Water and ice can be distinguished by the different variation trends of near infrared images. In this paper, 1.10μm, 1.16μm, 1.26μm and 1.28μm are selected to be the detection wavelengths. The images of Carbon Fiber Composite material aircraft wings partially covered by water or ice are obtained and analyzed. Parameter D can reflect the variation trend of relative near-infrared reflectivity, so that Parameter D also can be the distinguish basis. The results of the experiment show that the method proposed in this paper is available for ice detection.

Abstract: According to the LSB algorithm is simple to achieve the characteristics of image scrambling technology combines good features in Arnold. Use change for the shadow image. LSB algorithm by the shadow image is embedded into the cover image, then LSB algorithm using images extracted from the image's shadow. The extracted text in the shadow image is designed to recover the original Arnold inverse transform. This method not only effectively hide the image without damage, as also to ensure the security of the hidden images, without injury.

Abstract: Large size TFT-LCD (Thin-Film Transistor Liquid-Crystal Display, which is commonly called as panel) is made after lots of processes and is cut based on the required size in the last process. Deckle-edge (Burr) and other defects were produced by cutting. Therefore, it needs to examine the products’ defects before grinding the edges or the following processes. This research developed a new type and high-efficiency apparatus for panel-edge inspection. The defects are sorted based on three types “Fractures, Cracks and Dark-spots” by using image-subtraction, binary thresholding, and blob-analysis methods. The proposed system can improve the efficiency on panel-edge inspection for panel manufacturers. The production of flat panel-edge inspection can be increased to over 40% which can resolve the bottleneck processes for panel industry.

Abstract: In wireless cognitive radio networks (CRNs), user will send the sensing data to neighbors for spectrum allocation. Actually only part of data will affect the allocation result. The transmission of unused sensing data isn’t cost-efficient because it consumes a great deal of computing and network resource, especially for CRNs in which the spectrum and power resource is very precious. We propose an improving transmission availability algorithm— SkyChannel Query, which can find the non dominated channels and only transmit information of these channels. The experimental results show the advantages of our algorithm in terms of saving computing resource and improving transmission availability.

Abstract: This paper focuses on intelligent correction of shift schedule for dual clutch transmissions based on different driving conditions. The problem of standard shift schedule has been presented, and the strategy has also been proposed to avoid shift hunting and unexpected shift. The driver’s intention and driving environment have been unified recognized as different driving conditions. A fuzzy logic technology has been used in driver’s attention recognition based on the throttle opening and its derivative. The standard shift schedule has been intelligently corrected at different driving condition separately. An algorithm based on correction coefficient of throttle opening and vehicle speed is proposed for intelligent correction. The corrected shift schedule can be directly used in real time shift control with suitable correction coefficient.
