Abstract: Functional model for realizing the data integration of product data management, reverse engineering software and CAD/CAM system is proposed to support digitized prototyping and shorten the time market of new product. Measured data from CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), describing the geometric information of product would be sent directly to RE software. After refining and smoothing the “data cloud”, meshes of curves would be generated and sent to CAD/CAM system. The original data will be overlaid onto NURBS model obtained from CAD system to verify the reconstructed surfaces. The CAD model may be further faired, analyzed or NC machined within the context of current CAD/CAM system. Feasibility of such an approach has been testified on a sample part.

Abstract: Normalization is the main part of optical fiber capacity drop analysis technique. This paper introduces the improvement of normalization by using new method to get the normalization points. The improved normalization algorithm can solve the problem that drop fingerprints cannot be compared with each other, and can eliminate the interference brought in by other factors.

Abstract: This paper has successfully developed an integrated automatic taper-tipped die-plates construction system via linking the design table functions in Microsoft Excel underlying SolidWorks CAD software. The developed system can be used to generate 3D thread-rolling die-plate geometry in STL format for further screw thread-rolling process FEA simulations by using DEFORM 3D software. This has concluded that the quality of a taper-tipped screw depends mostly on the die-plate design at the pre-rolling portion.

Abstract: Nowadays, the development of automotive industry trends more personalized and profuse product alternatives. Kansei Engineering has been applied to interior design for customer satisfaction based on ergonomic technology in the paper. The computer aided design automotive interior system includes two subsystems: one is Computer-aided Sensation Survey Subsystem and the other is Computer-aided Automobile Interior Design Subsystem. Mathematical statistics and quantitative analysis method are adopted to establish quantified relationship between product perceptual image and design parameters.

Abstract: For realizing information sharing and interchange between product design process and resources to solve the problems about design complicated and collaborative difficult in design process of complex product. The Process integrated control of product multidisciplinary collaborative design (MCD) was analyzed firstly in this paper, a detailed description is given of the organization structure and modeling process of MCD-oriented Integration of Product Design Meta-model ;then the process integrated control method based on MCD-oriented Integration of Product Design Meta-model was proposed, and concrete implement process of process integrated control method was introduced to effectively realize information sharing and interchange between product design process and resources, to improve quality and efficiency of product design.

Abstract: The paper chiefly discusses the animation design and fabrication of dismantling and assembling for a gear oil pump, which includes two links--AutoCAD modeling and design& realization of 3D Studio MAX animation. In the process of AutoCAD modeling, there are two links that are modeling for all parts and assembly of the gear oil pump. Meanwhile, the design and realization of 3D Studio MAX animation is discussed from four aspects: importing three dimensions models, designing and editing motions, endowing material, rending output.

Abstract: Based on the movement procedure of the Dibble-type Transplanter, the equation of planting movement for the planting apparatus was established. According to the classic theory characteristic parameter λ>1 planting is necessary for the normal working conditions, computer simulation depending on the equation of planting movement was proceeded. The purpose of the computing simulation is to emulate the movement of the Dibble-type Transplanter. Several kind of values for λ is considered, such as the condition λ<1, λ=1 and λ>1. Through the analysis of the computer results, the classical theory λ>1 is necessary for the normal working conditions is confirmed.

Abstract: This paper presents a novel method to reduce the inrush currents produced by interconnecting induction generators. The method is based on the sequential energization of the contactors and a grounding resistor connected at the neutral point of a wye-connected stator. Analytical developments are presented, which permit to determine the optimum value of the neutral resistor directly. Theoretical and simulation analysis show that the proposed method can be almost as effective as the traditional three series resistor method. The proposed method requires only one resistor and one bypass contactor and is therefore more cost-effective than the traditional methods.

Abstract: A novel spatial multilayer doubler is proposed in the paper. It is designed by tray approach in rectangular waveguide. The doubler consists of multilayer multiplier circuits, which are parallel each other. Comparing with traditional single layer doubler, the spatial multilayer doubler has higher 1dB compression point, so the output power can be increased when input power is increased. Both the input port and the output port of the doubler are rectangular waveguides. In order to achieve the transition from rectangular waveguide to planar circuit, the finline and ridge are used. Multilayer finlines act as divider, which couple power from input rectangular waveguide. Otherwise, multilayer ridges act as combiner, which combine the harmonic power to output rectangular waveguider. The passive circuits of the spatial multilayer doubler are modeled and analyzed with FDTD method. From the results, we can see that the passive circuits designed in the paper have very low insertion loss.

Abstract: This paper summarizes a recent study of instrument simulation system for general aviation aircraft. As a component of avionics system for small aircraft, the Engine Indication System (EIS) displays critical engine, electrical, and fuel system information. This article introduces the cycle of developing the virtual instruments simulation with GL Studio software, designs EIS interface based on Federal Aviation Regulation, offers different EIS configurations for aircraft cockpit display system and uses the graphics designer and the code editor of GL Studio combined with VC++ to simulate EIS interface. The simulation result which has already been used can real-timely show the parameters, and it also shows that the simulation based on GL Studio software has good effect and high fidelity.
