Abstract: As a well-known standard of distributed simulation, High Level Architecture (HLA) has adopted as basic framework in most distributed interactive simulation (DIS) systems. At the same time, DIS always involves multiple disciplinary simulation models which are supported by different software. And these software are not always compatible with HLA. For example, though widely used in mechanical kinetics and kinematics simulations, ADAMS, a multi-body kinetics simulation software cannot directly support HLA. To address this issue, this paper analyses redevelopment of legacy systems and models (such as Adams models) in DIS environment and proposes two encapsulation methods which is based on third-party software and user-defined subroutines respectively. A case study demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed methods. And a brief comparison is also given in conclusion section.

Abstract: The study of the disabled traffic products which is based on product safety was elaborated in this paper.Security is not only the first factor but also the most important basic principle of the disabled traffic products. We studied the considerations of security on the design of the disabled traffic products incluing structure, function identification, form, the color and so on in order to satisfy the safety needs of the disabled in physiological, psychological state for traffic products, summarize the safety approach of implementation of the disabled traffic products, reflect modern product design for disabled people "humanity" design concern.

Abstract: In this paper, the elasto-plastic dynamic analysis on the steel spatial arch truss with 30m span and 0.2 rise-span ratio is carried out under earthquake action with SAP2000. In the analyses, the geometric and material nonlinear effects are considered at the same time based on the plastic-hinge theory. Under the action of EL wave with the peak increasing gradually, its elasto-plastic dynamic responses have been obtained. The results show that its failure mode under the earthquake action is elasto-plastic dynamic buckling; that its critical peak acceleration of EL earthquake wave when applied in X direction is 654gal, and is 1108gal when applied in Z direction; The ratio of its maximal node horizontal displacement and its structural height is 1/102, and its displacement ductility coefficient is 4.215 and the ratio of its bars with plastic hinge appearing when buckling is 15.54% when EL-Centro waves applied on structure in X direction; The ratio of its maximal node vertical displacement and its structural span is 1/994, and its displacement ductility coefficient is 1.338 and the ratio of its bars with plastic hinge appearing when buckling is 11.66% when EL-Centro waves applied in Z direction.

Abstract: Firstly this paper introduces the flexibility theory of virtual prototyping. Secondly a virtual prototype of rigid-flexible coupling model for beam-carried cranes is built, based on collaborative simulation platform by using the software of UG, ADAMS and ANSYS. Finally the response curves of the displacement for the girder’s centroid with step load and different frequency sine load were analyzed by virtual prototyping simulation. And the corresponding second-order system transfer function is given through the system identification. The result of simulation provided some theory basis for the structure design and optimization of beam-carried cranes.

Abstract: In order to solve the signal processing problems appeared in conventional engine control systems, the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) was used for frequency domain analysis, on this basis, it’s possible to make suggestions as to the selection of real-time sampling frequency and sensor signal averaging strategies as well as analog/digital anti-aliasing filter parameters in engine control system. To describe pumping fluctuations existing in model-based engine control system for a coal-bed engine, the pumping fluctuation models of air and fuel gas mass flow rate in intake manifold during steady-state operations were established based on the result of signal frequency domain analysis, thus it’s possible to optimize the conventional Mean Value Engine Model.

Abstract: In order to rebuild 3D models for pump impeller, the total inner complex construction data must be obtained at first. With the help of ICT, 367 ICT images with high quality of two typical impellers of centrifugal Pump were collected respectively, and format conversion from RAW to BMP was fulfilled though a developed program. Volume rendering was fulfilled based on these fault images, VC++ 6.0, MFC, ADO, VTK, and a series of digital image processing. A program named ReImpeller3D was developed on reverse engineering for pump impeller. The software is object-oriented and has several input and output interfaces, and also can supply geometrical models for numerical simulation, FEM, RP, digitized production, and redesign to production either. The practical application shows that it is feasible to use volume rendering to rebuild 3D model for pump impeller.

Abstract: Multi-stage centrifugal pumps for mining are widely used in mining and smelting industry. The operational environment in coal mine sewage is very harsh, so pump shaft and bearing failure happens frequently. In order to avoid disaster damage caused by failure of the pump shaft due to resonance, it is quite necessary and urgent to calculate critical rotation speed of the pump shaft. A calculation program of critical rotation speed for multi-stage centrifugal pumps for mining was developed using the secondary development tool of Object ARX, to give the computational method of the pump shaft load and static deflection and to achieve calculation of the critical speed, and which avoided the disadvantage of the traditional method. The practical application indicates that the program of critical rotation speed is convenient, intuitive and calculation accurate. It not only improves the work efficiency, but also reduces the labor intensity, so the program will have a good application prospect.

Abstract: Project Investment Control runs through the whole process of project construction, and after the future decision-making stage, the design, tendering, construction, and the final account of the cost-control effect determine the final results of project investment control. In this paper, reference to relevant examples of actual projects, not only discusses the factors that affect the project investment during each stage of project implementation, but also suggests some corresponding control measures in use of life cycle theory, designed to provide reference for investment control of project construction.

Abstract: Internal gear couple is the key component of high-pressure internal gear pumps, kinematic characteristic of which directly influences performance of the pump. Fillet is always ignored in the studies of gear transmission. This paper presents kinematic analysis of internal gear couple by using Adams which takes fillet into account. On the base of simulation results, the effects of fillet on kinematic characteristic of internal gear couple are concluded.
