Abstract: Innovation of decision-making needs systematical methodologies. A systematical decision “Element-Thought” method (“E-T” method) is proposed based on Su-Field analysis methodology of the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) for the innovation of decision-making. The way to analyze and solve innovation problem of decision-making with “E-T” method is given. The result shows that the proposed method could help managers make decision effectively, efficiently, and creatively.

Abstract: The back-up roll with roll-sleeve was studied and simulated using the finite element analysis software Abaqus in this paper. The stress-strain field of back-up roll with different roll-sleeve thickness and different magnitude of interference were compared because these two parameters are of importance for us to guide the application of roll with sleeve.

Abstract: The ABS, motor, Battery, fly wheels, wheel and roller are used to built test bench to measure coordinate control strategy between ABS braking and regenerative braking. The test bench can also be used to simulate engine brake during vehicle deceleration, and ABS control methods. This can reduce development time and cost effectively.

Abstract: The traditional interpolation methods can’t get high-precision result for the path planning of industrial robot, to solve this problem, this paper presented a new interpolation method based on NURBS curve. The paper established the kinematics transformation matrix of SCARA robot, put forward the principle of NURBS curve interpolation, and described the details of trajectory planning for industrial robot in the rectangular space. Finally, the method mentioned in the paper was tested and compared with point to point interpolation method by Matlab simulations, the result showed that the method mentioned in the paper can reduce the interpolation error and the computational cost markedly.

Abstract: Power supply for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) low voltage, high current output, so conventional diode rectifier circuit had been unable to meet the high efficiency in switching power supply, which should selected synchronous rectification (SR). But conventional gate charge retention drive existed dead time and constant drive voltage problems. In this paper, proposes a new gate charge retention drive to improve the phenomenon. Using Saber to analysis the two methods, we could verify the accuracy of the theory. Finally, 72v input 6v/20 output forward converter are designed using the new methods and 90% efficiency is achieved at full load.

Abstract: This paper describes the design of monitoring system for coal mine safety constructed by MSP430 and nRF24E1, which has described the structure of the system, working principle, and gives the hardware design of sensor nodes and the software design. This system is used for on-line monitoring of coal mine safety with the character of simple structure, low cost, low power consumption and so on, which will improve the level of monitoring production safety and reduce accident in the coal mine.

Abstract: In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of different communication means of multi-robots were analyzed. Then, a explicit communication together with implicit communication architecture was proposed, which takes advantage of the social laws established for them to cut down the communication traffic and achieve reciprocal communication among robots. The validity of the foregoing methods has been testified by the simulation experiments of the collaborative surround of Multi-robots.

Abstract: This paper studies a novel visual word generation method in the Bag-of-words model for object categorization. The conventional Bag-of-words algorithm represents the cluster centers as visual words, which led to the incomplete expressions of image semantic information, so an improved method for visual word generation using the soft-decision based on kernel function is proposed. First, SIFT keypoints of images are extracted. Then, after clustering SIFT keypoints, some typical SIFT keypoints are selected from a cluster by kernel density estimation using a kernel function. Finally, these selected keypoints are trained employing SVM to generate a visual word of this cluster. Experimental results show that the proposed visual word generation method enhances the expressions of image semantic information, increases the recall ratio effectively, and improves significantly the effect of object categorization.

Abstract: Semi-physical simulation technology and virtual reality technology in real-time three-dimensional dynamic simulation of remote operated vehicle, and a set of real ROV control system are utilized to design a ROV Training Simulator. This ROV Training Simulator can not only be used to train ROV operators, reduce the times of sea trial,but also can verify the function and performance of real ROV control system.

Abstract: This paper proposes a design method and parameter tuning method for how only using the DCS configuration control software module to combine and achieve generalized predictive control algorithm in a complicated controlled plant case. In order to show the effectiveness of the control algorithm using the DCS layer control software module to achieve model predictive, two types of complex objects are considered as example to do simulation : non-minimum phase process and the complex process with recycling and pure delay. The simulation results show that the proposed control algorithm can provide similar control performance of GPC.
