Abstract: A structured gammatone filterbank is proposed to decompose the mixture acoustic signal for the embedded system. The performance of the gammatone filterbank with various filter channels is evaluated by signal to noise ratio (SNR), perceptual evaluation of speech quality (PESQ) and automatic speech recognition (ASR) accuracy. As a detailed analysis shown, the gammatone filterbank with 24 channels is good for most embedded applications with a low complex and high performance at the same time.

Abstract: In this paper, we design and implement general parameterized IP (Intellectual Property) cores of convolutional encoder with SMIC 0.35μm CMOS technology, serial structure and parallel structure respectively. And analyze each of the power dissipation using Synopsys PTPX tool. The result shows the parallel circuit structure saves 14 percent power dissipation compared to that of serial circuit structure, with the same encode radio. Meanwhile, computing speed of parallel structure with 8-bit parallelism is 8 times than that of serial structure under the same clock frequency. Certainly, serial circuit structure has their particular characters such as easily realized and less resource consumption.

Abstract: Radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI) is an important criterion for electronic equipment to be met. In the paper, radiated EMI generated by electronic equipment is discussed. Several radiation structures are presented and approximate expressions of maximum radiated electric field are given. In order to reduce radiation of electronic equipment, its important to eliminate unintentional antenna structure and reduce maximum size of aperture and slot on shielding enclosure.

Abstract: The transmission system is a core component of the hybrid vehicle. For the stability of vehicle power transmission, the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) must have communications with Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) and operation objects (such as drive motor, battery and so on) by CAN bus at the same time. In this paper, a CAN bus extension system based on C8051F500 and SST39LF512 was designed and completed the correct data sending and receiving, which met the communications requirements in hybrid vehicle control.

Abstract: In order to study the corona discharge on the sharp conductor structure, the relationship between conductor radius and corona was found by analysis of the three basic structures of corona discharge, and calculating the potential around the conductor in the three cases. Based on the three basic structures, the model of sharp conductor structure of corona discharge was established. Since of it, the threshold voltage of it could be easily calculated, which may provide supports for the further research on corona discharge on the sharp conductor structure.

Abstract: A 1.575GHz SiGe HBT(heterojunction bipolar transistor) low-noise-amplifier(LNA) optimized for Global Positioning System(GPS) L1-band applications was presented. The designed LNA employed a common-emitter topology with inductive emitter degeneration to simultaneously achieve low noise figure and input impedance matching. A resistor-bias-feed circuit with a feedback resistor was designed for the LNA input transistor to improve the gain compression and linearity performance. The LNA was fabricated in a commercial 0.18µm SiGe BiCMOS process. The LNA achieves a noise figure of 1.1dB, a power gain of 19dB, a input 1dB compression point(P1dB) of -13dBm and a output third-order intercept point(OIP3) of +17dBm at a current consumption of 3.6mA from a 2.8V supply.

Abstract: A design idea of calcium tester based on embedded platform is described. The composition of calcium test system is firstly analyzed. Secondly, in the acquisition of the potential signal of solution concentration the model of a sensor system is introduced. Finally the realization technique of tester is chiefly discussed in hardware and software.

Abstract: In this paper, a novel 4-bit ADC is presented. The ADC adopts interpolated flash architecture with eight preamplifiers followed by fifteen latches. The ECL technique is used in the design of the ADC. Because of the novel design techniques adopted in the ADC, the conversion rate is very fast, up to 10Gsps, which has been proved by the stimulation results.

Abstract: By analyzing Cortex-M3 Instruction Set and AHB Bus protocol, a Cortex-M3 Instruction Set compatible 32-bit RISC embedded microprocessor with built-in an optimized 5+2-stage pipeline was realized in this paper. The performance of the 32-bit RISC processor is optimized by deepening pipeline and optimizing functional modules compared with Cortex-M3. According to division instructions, a configurable hardware divider in different realization ways was realized for different applications. The design of the system architecture was completed using Verilog hardware description language (Verilog HDL) and Top-down methodology. The logic function was corrected by VCS simulation FPGA verification. Design Compiler synthesis result shows that, the maximal dominant frequency of the RISC embedded microprocessor could be up to 95MHz with the 0.18um CMOS process of SMIC, and is improved by 31.94% compared with STM32 Cortex-M3 (72MHz).
