Abstract: With the rapid development of transportation industry, the bus overload phenomenon is increasingly serious, overload effects people’s life safety badly, and also destroys highways and other infrastructures, using resistance strain sensor to test the total weight of the car can effectively reduces the occurrence of bus overload phenomenon.Besides using special floor made of trampling power generating device can generate power through the passenger's trample, stored in the storage battery, and supply the overweight detection device and other components, so to achieve the goal of energy saving and preventing the bus overload.

Abstract: Parking time differences characteristics of the commercial and residential area of the city center area was discussed, actual case shows that the proportion of parking time is less than one hour accounted for 48.2% in commercial area, and the proportion of parking time is less than one hour accounted for 22.9% in residential area. The problem of parking in the central city was indicated, and the suggestions focusing on the problem of parking were put forward to improve operational efficiency and alleviate these problems of parking difficulty, parking chaos in central city.

Abstract: This paper attempts to model stochastic choice behavior in simultaneous trip route and departure time decision-making on road traffic networks, taking into account information quality and individual differences in information interpretation among the population of travelers. Different from the traditional stochastic model, the proposed choice behavior model assumes that road users simultaneously select the trip routes and departure times that have the largest probabilities of incurring the least generalized travel costs. This model is applicable in both static and dynamic settings and can be applied to both ordinary travelers as well as operators of emergent vehicles, e.g., the fire engine. The preliminary numerical experiments show that the proposed stochastic choice model can reflect the overreaction phenomena reported in studies of traffic information provision and the impacts of the types of traffic information on the effectiveness of information provision. This model opens a potential way to analyze network equilibrium behavior taking into account individual differences in the ability of information interpretation as well as information quality.

Abstract: It is necessary and essential to coordinate Urban Traffic Control System with Urban Traffic Guidance System, which can integrate traffic facilities and establish the intelligent and economical transportation system. In the paper, we aim to solve the traffic jam of the key point of network utilizing the coordination technology based on the traffic guidance and control. To proving the algorithm, we set a network to simulate the cooperation strategy based on the paper. Simulation results show that the coordination strategy and technology can efftetively release the traffic jam.

Abstract: Providing timely and accurate traffic information for road users can effectively improve the efficiency of road network by choosing the appropriate traffic information release mode in different places properly. Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of several main information release mode at present, this paper selects the optimization model indexes of information release mode according to the appraisal index selection principles. Because of the different important degree of each evaluation index and the cognitive limitations of experts in different fields, it introduces expert credibility to optimize the traditional method of determining the weights locally, and determines the weights, and then sets up the multi-objectives priority selection method of traffic information release mode.

Abstract: The floating car data (FCD) is widely used to estimate the time-varying OD demands in recent years. The one of the most important factors influencing the application performance of FCD is the completeness of FCD route data. This paper is intended to develop Floyd route mending algorithm based on dynamic travel time for FCD. In this framework, the raw FCD and the processed FCD are used to identify the problem of data missing based on topological structure of the road network. Then, an approach is developed to mend route based on improved Floyd route mending algorithm based on the GIS map. The approach is designed in a way that takes full advantage of the dynamic characteristics of travel time and quick routes scan. The paper applies the proposed methodology to mend routes and derive OD demands of FCD for the Western 3rd Ring-Road corridor network in Beijing, China. It is shown from the statistical analysis that the approach is accurate and the OD demands of FCD can reflect the characteristics of OD demands of all vehicles in the road network.

Abstract: In order to interact and share the information of public transports, shorten the transfer time, especially for metro and bus. Based on the view of the passengers, this paper made a survey of information demands of passengers at Xiaozhai station of line 2 in Xian metro. According to the analysis of the survey obtained the most important transfer information of metro and bus. Finally, the content and method of information release be sorted out. This paper aimed at provide theoretical basis for the further research of mutual transfer of public transportation.

Abstract: Devoting major efforts to developing public transport and practicing public traffic priority has been one of the important approaches to solve traffic problems. In order to evaluate the quality of public transport services quickly and accurately, time reliability degree is taken as evaluation index. The time reliability degree of the bus line can be got through the computation of the reliability degree of running and waiting time. In the end, the bus line of K362 in Changchun city is taken as an example to show the evaluation process. The evaluation theory and method of public transport system is perfected by the result.

Abstract: First, four transportation forecasting methods were analyzed, and these characteristics and applicable conditions were summarized, so we can conclude that the disaggregate model is more suitable to predict the public bicycle traffic mode choice. Secondly, the utility function model of bike, bus and motor vehicle was established to determine the utility of each traffic mode and predict the share rate by disaggregate function model. Finally, the analysis of public bicycle transportation impact factors through an example, and gives quantitative indicators.

Abstract: A proportional plus integral (PI) control method based on ant colony optimization (ACO) is proposed to regulate the number of vehicles entering freeway entrance points. First, a macroscopic traffic flow model is established. Then the basic principles of an ant colony algorithm are formulated and the steps of ACO algorithm in optimizing the PI parameters are given. In conjunction with nonlinear feedback theory, on-ramp PI controllers optimized by the ant colony algorithm are designed. Finally, the control method is simulated in MATLAB software. Simulation results show that the ACO based ramp metering controllers are of good performance. This control method can eliminate traffic jams, maintain traffic flow stability, and make vehicles travel more efficiently and safely.
