Abstract: Road maintenance management is highly recognized by governments and road administrations nowadays. The aim of this project is to define the mainly used road maintenance management approaches in Britain and China, then compare and contrast the similarities and differences between them. The approaches of institutional management, financial management and operational management of the road maintenance will be introduced. It can be concluded that management efficiency would be greatly improved if the road administrators could learn from each other.

Abstract: This article selects the financial statement established by the CNPC(China National Petroleum Corporation) for the year 2013 according to the Chinese accounting standard for business enterprises as an example, analysis of the problems of presentation and disclosure of other comprehensive income in our country, and contrast and analyze the stipulation about other comprehensive income presentation and disclosure stipulated by the IAS (International Accounting Standards) and FASB statements.

Abstract: As development and maturity of China's capital market day by day, the information disclosure of listed companies to investors has higher and higher quality. At present, many listed companies want to obtain the trust and investment of investors, willing to disclose some information beyond the mandatory disclosure to provide for the investors. Many companies make voluntary information disclosure. However, there is a problem of voluntary information disclosure of listed companies in our country. This paper, through the study on the current status of the voluntary information disclosure of listed companies, finds out the influence factors of voluntary information disclosure and proposes the corresponding countermeasures for solving these problems.

Abstract: The essay adopts literature and logic reasoning to study development status of sporting goods industry in China and factors influencing core competence of sporting goods industry in China. The study holds that active building of human capital, enhancement of technology innovation, improvement of management system, building of enterprise culture, and mergers and acquisitions of knowledge alliance among enterprises are the major countermeasures for sporting goods enterprises in China to enhance core competence and resist market risks.

Abstract: Based on the theory of Global Value Chain (GVC), this paper studies the sustainable development of athletic equipment industrial cluster from the perspective of GVC. This paper first reviews the relevant theories of GVC, and then investigates into the upgrade mode of China’s athletic equipment industrial cluster in the theoretical framework of GVC. Through theoretical analysis and empirical research, the paper puts forward the upgrade idea of China’s athletic equipment industrial cluster, and provides the basis for its development and policy-making.

Abstract: With analysis of the current competitiveness of sporting goods industry in China by means of value chain theory, it can be concluded that even though China's sporting goods industry has reached a high level in production scale and capacity, it suffers severe weaknesses in marketing management and technology research and development and lies at the bottom of the "Smile Curve", with "strategic links" beyond its grasp. Finally relevant countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.
