Abstract: The mainstream methods of city ecosystem restoration whose subjects are primarily the factors from nature ecosystem are lack of the analysis to those factors from society ecosystem and economy ecosystem. The authors study this research by the methods of calculating the relevant datum and comparative analysis; introduce urban plan rationales into city ecosystem restoration, and put forward three strategies: First, the authors investigate the coupling relationship between the city spatial pattern and society ecosystem by “Space Growth Curve ” and clarify how to rehabilitate the society ecosystem by adjusting the city spatial pattern; Second, the authors establish the three-level city landscape structure by “GIS Landscape Planning” and unify the management of nature ecosystem by landscape planning; At last, in order to optimize the city economy ecosystem, the authors contrive the city industry distribution by “SWOT”. In responds to this situation, introducing technologies of urban plan into city ecosystem restoration may open up a new orientation to provide the systematic management. Furthermore, some methods which apply to unitary factor can be integrated organically as a chain.
Abstract: This paper picks Xuanfu one of the military towns in the “Nine frontiers” as an example to research the defensive space along the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty. Analyzes space-defensiveness of Xuanfu town from some different points of view, such as the stratagem intention of location、function setting、urban form evolvement and spirit imago. Analyzes the historical causes of the town’s space, summarizes the space characteristic of military town a typical type of urban form and the influence of the special history background.
Abstract: The contrary space sequence is a concept and design principle that aims at the historical town and the historical street spatial combine. Through research of the unique constitute of space of historical and cultural towns to explore the potential spatial culture of sustainable development in history. In history ,that many towns depend on the existence of external environment landscape space first, limited and influenced the composing of internal landscape space, then form the landscape space of inside and outside towns to continue harmonious the space structure of combination and the sequence. The contrary space sequence has its own organic composition and rules of space that was order and correlation but not exists alone. It is a greater significance and application value to use this principle to guide the formation of new space and followed its growth pattern for the ancient town's transformation and development and for pioneering the new city space and landscape gardens and urban green space layout.
Abstract: Landscape city is a new concept of city construction which is proposed by Chinese famous scientist Qian Xuesen.It contains many factors such as garden、culture、art 、technology . Landscape city covers the western modern urban theory, and at the same time Chinese culture connotation, it stands for 21st century Chinese socialist urban development ideal direction. In the early of 1990s, one of the famous scientists of China, Professor Qian Xuesen proposed the concept of landscape city, and it embodies Qian’s deeply expectation that the cities in the 21st century are landscape cities. What is the landscape city? From Professor Qian’ 68 pieces of articles, letters and interviews, we can conclude a formula that is: Landscape City = Garden City + culture city + art cities + modern technology city. Our cities have different natural and geographical conditions and also have different society function. But for most of them, should set landscape city as their development goal, this should be the Chinese nation’s noble ideals of the living environment in the 21st century.
Abstract: This paper contrasts the distribution of geothermal resources with urban planning, analysis that energy is an important problem when urban development faced various difficulties currently. Geothermal energy as one of the options offers a better solution to this problem, if the development of geothermal resources is in close integration with the urban planning, it will have significant economic, social and environmental benefits. This paper takes Dongying City as an example in-depth analysis. The development of geothermal resources is in close integration with the urban planning.
Abstract: In this paper, by the method of GIS and RS, according to the field survey, ecology benefit of the trees in the study area was calculated by CITYgreen. The necessity and importance of the introduction of CITYgreen into city ecological green space design have been also discussed in order to make our city planning more efficient, ecological and sustainable.
Abstract: The low-carbon urban construction is an important carrier of the energy saving and emmission reduction,which will lead to an new trend of future city construction.while regarded as the important component of low-carbon construction, low-carbon ecology community will promote city sustainable development. And it is characteristic of the naturalness, economy and sociality. Based on present situation of chinese ecology community construction, some strategies are presented, incuding that the first is urban planning at macro-level; the second is spatial plan, transportation system, service facilities and green space system at medium measure; the third is water environment plan, energy plan, architectural design from at micro level; the fourth is community housing structure and public participation from social policies.

Abstract: This paper introduces niche concept and niche overlap theory into the field of urban planning, and believe that urban niche is the extension of species niche concept. Urban provides certain resource for human beings to live and take actives, which makes different dimensions of resource, time and space in different urban's development. Regional characteristics of citiy as the manifestation of a city, which reflect different "space" position of a city in urban niche, the spatial position is multidimensional and with multiple subsystems. Regional characteristics of city mainly come from non-overlapped area of multiple subsystems in urban complex niche, the higher the proportion of non-overlapping, the more obvious features of urban regional characteristics. Therefore, this paper established a regional characteristic model of niche in city streets which based on complex ecosystem, and proposed planning principles under it, in order to emphasize regionality and create a positive ecological street.
Abstract: Energy crisis is the major problem that we are facing today. Energy conservation is imminent. In accordance with the idea of asking, analyzing and solving questions, this paper discussed the relationship between urban structure and energy, urban development and energy characteristics of new era, from the perspective of urban design. We proposed several strategies about urban structure design and hope to play on certain references in the practical application.
