Abstract: A fuzzy adaptive Kalman filtering navigation algorithm is proposed and further applied to the GPS/INS integrated navigation system in this paper. The common Sage-Husa adaptive filtering algorithm and its drawbacks are elaborated. In order to adjust the Sage-Husa adaptive filter to the optimal state to improve the accuracy of the integrated navigation system, the fuzzy logic adaptive controller is used to adjust the weighting form for the covariance matrix of measurement noise to gradually make it approach to the true noise levels. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can not only inhibit the filtering divergence but also improve filtering accuracy.

Abstract: Reconfigurable logic has gained relevance in high-speed computer numerical control (CNC) digital controller. In this paper, a design of three-axis high speed gravure engraving machine motion controller based on programmable logical device is proposed. In the design of the hardware, the prevalent technology of Filed Programmable Gate Array is applied, which enhances the flexibility of the hardware. All the circuits and algorithms are developed using hardware description language. A novel solution for acceleration and deceleration control of servo motors is implemented in FPGA. This system is already applied in a high speed (8K) gravure engraving machine, and the results prove that this controller based on a low-cost FPGA platform is highly precise and of great universality.

Abstract: The vibration phenomenon of pipeline for conveying liquid and gas is very common. Based on the feature of pipeline vibration and multi-resolution of wavelet, this paper has mainly simulated the vibration signal of pipeline and made muti-scale analysis of the signal. At the same time, this paper points out that the selected frequency band which causes the vibration can be found out, by using frequency spectrum analysis of pipeline vibration signal, combined with Fast Fourier Transform (FFT).So this paper shows that the processing way of pipeline vibration signal based on wavelet transform is available.

Abstract: The radial basis function (RBF) neural network is superior to other neural network on the aspects of approximation ability, classification ability, learning speed and global optimization etc., it has been widely applied as feedforward networks, its performance critically rely on the choice of RBF centers of network hidden layer node. K-means clustering, as a commonly method used on determining RBF center, has low neural network generalization ability, due to its clustering results are not sensitive to initial conditions and ignoring the influence of dependent variable. In view of this problem, fuzzy clustering and grey relational clustering methods are proposed to substitute K-means clustering, RBF center is determined by the results of fuzzy clustering or grey relational clustering, and some researches of RBF neural networks modeling accuracy are done. Practical modeling cases demonstrate that the modeling accuracy of fuzzy clustering RBF neural networks and grey relational clustering RBF neural networks are significantly better than K-means clustering RBF neural networks, applying of fuzzy clustering or grey relational clustering to determine the basis function center of RBF neural networks hidden layer node is feasible and effective.

Abstract: Arnold cat map is a classical transformation of image encryption, but it has some shortcomings such as short key quantities, small period and so on. On the basis of Arnold cat map, it presented an algorithm of image encryption based on 3D Arnold cat and chaotic map. Simulation experiments show that the encryption algorithm has characters of strong keys, better effect and fast.

Abstract: We report in this paper the control work of lateral displacement of a web that runs on a roll-to-roll system. The control system employs a displacement guide and a vision sensor. The vision sensor is used to detect the lateral displacement of a moving web and send a feedback signal to a controller. A fuzzy logic is developed and embedded in the controller. Experimental results are presented to evaluate the control logic and system.

Abstract: The electron beam polishing equipment technology is brought forward and its characteristic is explained because general processing method can’t obtain preferable machining efficiency and product quality. The theory of electronic beam machining is explained in detail, which include electronic beam come into being. The structural drawing is bring brought by this study. The drive principle of worktable movement and the procedure control of electronic beam machining is describe detailedly. The elementary problem is solved on electronic beam machining in theory.

Abstract: This paper proposes an innovative methodology to design a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) system using FPGA (Field-programmable Gate Array). There are several main components in this system, including A/D sampling unit, FFT processing unit and control unit. A/D sampling and FFT processing units utilize the Nios processor in FPGA as controller. Control unit uses EP1C20 FPGA chip from ALTERA as FFT processing unit so as to manage the FIFO operations. This unit can handle 128 FFT operations. This system design approach is tested on Matlab. The results indicate that the calculation speed is much faster than common DSP manner.

Abstract: FMM is an efficient algorithm in computing N-body problem. This paper firstly subdivides the FMM into 10 procedures. Based on the analysis the computing type of each procedure, we choose key procedures accelerated on FPGA and Cell BE. And then we present the speedup ratio of each accelerated procedure through experiments. Finally we analyze the computing characteristic of FMM on the computing architecture on accelerator FPGA and Cell BE.
